We tangle up in the sheets and the blanket covers us.
Sunlight creeping in the window warming the once chilly surface.
A lazy awakening into today.
We just hold together closely,
There's plenty room for us in this bed.
Heart pounding, adrenaline pumping.
We were excited for all the world to see.
Racing against the sun and shadows.
People stop to look. Passing gazes,
To oblivious children.
Time spent innocently, but not harmless.
Open laughter canceled out invitation.
It was just me and you.
We watched sunsets falling on the horizon.
We were gazing at gossiping stars.
You have a way of making me feel lonely without you.
Your language isn't pretty, but it makes me laugh all the same.
When he breathes out a name,
the big bad wolf isn't as scary.
Tonight we lay back and there's a
Knock knock knock.
We turn our backs away,
But the world still blows on in.
Crashing like the wind.
We just hide underneath our blankets.
The same place when it was me and you.
This isnt one of my best works. Its not even one of my good poems. And usually my poems rhyme and go together alot better. But I kept saying I would post something on here, and I just wrote this so I put it on! and if you guess who I kind of made it center around you get a cookie! (but its not even that hard to figure out) and if you can guess what the meaning of the poem was, or what I was thinking of when I wrote it meaning wise, then you can get another cookie! Ha ha Im lame giving out digital cookies.
The cold comes creeping in,
And the two of us embrace closely together.
We tangle up in the sheets and the blanket covers us.
Sunlight creeping in the window warming the once chilly surface.
A lazy awakening into today.

There's plenty room for us in this bed.
