Here's my experience during the Nintendo World launch party. Eh I'm too lazy to write much but here I go.

 

Well nothing much besides me meeting up with my friends, talking about Pokemon, SSB, etc, watching how silly were people were at the stage. Speaking of the stage event, I couldn't stop laughing at the responses the audience try to give. Who's that Pokemon! Random person shouts "AGUMON!" or random anime characters. The few things that took us by surprise was the proposal done front stage. Everyone (including me) were all hyped, rooting and clapping at what happened. Second was Masuda on live chat (Skype, I dunno). lol some tried to talk to him, I wonder if he even understood us. We got to see many cosplayers (even Roxas, Sephiroth) due to Comic-con during the weekend, I only got to get 1 pic with one of them as it was too crowded. Luckily she was pretty, cosplaying as Serene compared to the others. I also got pics with the inflated mascots, and pics of me and a couple of friends. (We were scattered)

 

Now I could have gotten the huge poster, but my other friends were on the very last few lines, so I decide to hand out with them+I wanted to get some matches with them and others they found.The good side is the patience paid off because a guy with a truck with the goodies were handing out more stuff than before.

Speaking of battles, I kicked everyone's ass in OU. Keldeo for the firetrucking win! Kudos to you 5th gen metagame, it was good while it lasted. 

 

Infinite lines, kinda messy, but nonetheless it was overall fun. 

 

Now to play Y! Anyone able to breed a Froakie? I'm starting off with Fennekin, and I'd like to also raise a Froakie.

Damn, that looks like really awesome stuff, especially all that artwork/poster/whatever stuff. I WANT!!!!!! I am officially jealous :]

There weren't any launch events in my country at all... But, I slept in (not on purpose), I already thought I wouldn't get that special offer, but when I got to the store, only few games were taken and I was able to get my pokemon X for 33€ instead of 45€! At times like that I'm really glad that I don't live in a big town! :]

 

Did your friends get X/Y too? I mean, you could trade with them right? Of course only if they got the game too. I'm getting the other ones from my sister, well, I have to do it that way, because I have Internet issues with my 3ds here...

We could have but we were beat from standing for 8 hours. e_e

 

EDIT: I was able to get my friend to retrieve a few photos, not sure if he got others but I'll post the one with some of my friends, and one of the cosplayers. (He can't find the other one, oh well)

 

 

 

Note to self, have photos without flash because gosh it made me look tired as firetruck compared to the other, and that was about 2-1 hours before midnight. >_>

 

 

 

Ah good times. I still feel like I was still there. (Party fever? )
