(Almost there, just got quint-flawless parents for it) Then I'll EV train it via hordes.

October 21, 201312 yr Author you can just EV train it through Super Training....it'll be much much easierActually no, at least if you know what you're doing. Certain hordes have always the same Pokemon mobs, so you'd be getting 5 EVs each time. This isn't even counting the power items+PKrus. You can sweet scent/use honey for hordes. There's a list on the best spots to do this. I plan to use the exp share on so I can have my higher lved Pokemon with a move that hits all. (EQ or Heat Wave) That, or use this trick and have Torchic (Blaziken by then) KO the mobs. Back on the coin trick, this is better off with Pokes that have their egg hatch steps very high. (Low hatch steps would be more a waste of time flying for every 5 eggs- assuming you have the Talon line with flame body)

No. Did you bother even reading that there are lists for the best horde spots? There's already confirmation on some of their EV distributions. Around this week I should expect more confirmed, if not all of them.I'd rather sweet scent+KO 5 instantly every battle which should take about 20-30 seconds than click, spam click, click, etc. The only decent usage for super training now is if I want specific EVs. Too bad the meta game and speed tiering hasn't been established yet. (Where specific EVs sometimes takes into account)EDIT: This should speak if my words aren't enough; http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/horde-battles-and-ev-yields.3490052/ (Note the first post isn't updated with other people's response) Edited October 21, 201312 yr by OmegaForte
October 22, 201312 yr It's a clever trick, but I'm not sure that I want to put a coin underneath my circle pad. X_X As for that side conversation, to be honest, I think that Super Training is a decent alternative for people like me. That is, I'm just to lazy to go online, find out the best EV training spots are, get everything I need prepared, and then actually go through a bunch of battles. Yeah, I don't doubt that a horde battle plus pokerus plus power items is a much more effective way, but its brain dead easy and I won't make myself sick of actually battling.

It's only like 16 battles without pkrus lol. I fail to see how that's a lot of battling. If anything, getting to level 100 is a pain in the ass, which is why I'll try this trick on one night to see how many levels I get in a few hours. To each to their own I suppose. I'm so happy they added hordes, just for this reason alone. Edited October 22, 201312 yr by OmegaForte
