Dimension Links *contains spoiler in vid*

Posted

I really have no idea where this goes. Here's a vid with supposedly every D-Link in Birth By Sleep. *This vid contains a spoiler of Vanitas's face*

cool and whats with the over weight unversed

That was choatically epic. I wonder if they'll included KH series references in the attack. I saw a few, but playing is believing.

The "fat" Unversed are meant to represent greed, a negative emotion.

wait does every universed have a negative emotion?

There is no I in Unversed. They are based on negative emotions because that's what they're drawn to.

There are groups of Unversed that represent a negative emotion. The Flood Unversed represent irritation and I believe there are 3 more Unversed that represent the same thing.

ok so if you have seen the cutscene where Vanitas' face is revealed he says something along the lines of, the unversed are the negative emotions that Vanitas has and was given to him when Ven lost all of his darkness, which is how he can control them because they are his emotions... if that makes sense

if not well...send me a message and ill try to explain it better

i'm still confused aobut this D-Link thingy.

i agree, could someone explain what d-links are and how they are used/summoned

Dimension Links(D-Link) take the place of party members/summons in BBS. There is a curved blue bar that measures whether or not your able to use one. When a D-Link is used, its like connecting with someone from another world. Whoever you D-Link with determines what special commands you will have and their effects.

D-links, or Dimension Links, is basically a new way of summoning. Using the concept of the paopu charms, in the sense that they represent unbreakable connections with your friends, you can call upon their powers in battle.

New D-links are added to its corresponding menu, and they can only be used when the D-link bar is full (blue bar above the HP). Once D-linked with a certain character, you will have access to a special command deck comprised of their signature moves, and also a character specific finisher, along with a corresponding effect.

Example: D-link Ven will give you the Haste ability for more speed. If the D-link is at lvl. 2, you will have access to his finisher Air Dive, in which you can attack enemies while flying in the air. His corresponding deck is comprised of things like Strike Raid, Slide Dash, Aero, Aerial Break, and other commands full of Ven goodness.
