As I stated before from my other one, they need Mining Helmets. Badly.
But...I think they need to add music for what is happening on your screen. Maybe the default music for Peaceful during the day and night.
Then perhaps a bit more upbeat in Easy during the day and night. Also, special music happens when engaging enemy monsters. More instruments come if there's 1-4 enemies in range, trying to fight you, then no more instruments come, even if there's more than 4.
Same thing in Normal. Same passive music, but the battle theme gets more sped up, and starts with cymbals.
On Hard, a slight drone is in all the types of music in the daylight, then drums AND cymbals in a slower version of Easy's battle theme at night. When in battle, a more intense theme appears, dependant on what monsters are after you.
And, of course, on Hardcore, daylight music is the same as Hard, but yet again, more instruments. Night time music...entirely different, maybe an organ or two. And, high-pitched, beats appear when in battle with monsters, with their own theme. Themes mix on combination of monsters.
Zombie: Trombone
Skeleton: Cello
Creeper: Electric Guitar (Battle can end quickly, but fits situation. Doesn't occur unless hit by Player.)
Slime: Clarinet
Blaze: Saxophone
Silverfish: Kazoo
Enderman: String Bass
Spider: Violin
Cave Spider: Viola
Ghast: Tuba
Wither Skeleton: Baritone
Witch: Arghul
Magma Cube: Banjo
Spider Jockey: Harpiscord
Hostile Wolf/ves/Zombie Pigmen: Pipe Organ
Hostile Iron Golem: Snare Drum
Honestly, I doubt ALL monsters will get their own battle song. Maybe Overworld and Nether mobs will have different ones...
I excluded bosses, because...well...
I DO INDEED believe that music will be incorporated into the game depending on what is happening, but not this complex. I feel that this is more than possible...
