Hi guys, so I just got my wig in the mail to cosplay Rhyme, and there's just one problem: it's pretty fluffy. I've already de-fluffed it a little by drenching it in the hot shower twice, but the ends are still...floofy. I need them to hang straight is the thing.
Any tips or suggestions? I've read that you can boil water to a certain temperature and dump it on the wig on a stand, but I don't have a thermometer to check the actual temperature of the water. Also, it's one of the more inexpensive wigs, and I'm not sure it could withstand as much heat as a good quality one. And most people suggest putting it on a foam head, but I've only got a plastic wig stand, so how would that do with boiling water?
Right now, it looks like this (although the ends are still wet).
The beanie WILL cover most of it, but I'd like the ends to be straight.
