People here know about this guy, right? Because he's like, one of my favorite guys.

 

His series on Kingdom Hearts is amazing, and the level of detail in his discussions (going so far as reaching 1 to 2 hour videos) amazes me and I can't help but take time out of my day just to listen to him. Even if you don't want to watch his videos because a lot of them are abysmally long, he deserves recognition at the very least.

Can you explain a bit? I think I get where you're coming from, but an expansion on that would be lovely.

I've explained twice in two threads where I ranted in about Birth by Sleep...you can search my threads list because I don't want to repeat myself and have a war with BBS fans.

 

But I'll sum it up in one sentence:It introduced a couple of elements in the story that are either poorly implemented or elements that the series could've continued pretty much fine without it

 

Now don't get me wrong the origins of Xehanort was a much needed explanation,but there are some elements that are poorly explained or outright doesn't matter at all.

 

I've never doubted the story of Kingdom Hearts not even one bit when I started playing it seven years ago.....it wasn't until Birth by Sleep where I felt something wacky is going on with some story elements....I didn't feel that in DDD mind you,but I still feel the effect of Birth by Sleep has kinda reached it a bit
