The rumors are true, it seems. We're getting another Storm game, the sequel to UNS3: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

 

There's a couple of things I want to note here: 1) No recycled character art at all in this scan. 2) Logo for the game is of Team Kakashi, so obviously the story is going forward to the Ten Tails Revival Arc. 3) Naruto and Sasuke are doing their Rasengan-Chidori combo from that same arc, so either this is a confirmation of the story mode OR maybe its a confirmation of new Team Jutsu mechanics or possibly Justu Clashes. 4) It seems that the art in the game will be drawn by Kishimoto himself AND that he is creating brand new characters exclusively for the game. Who are they? I don't know. Your guess is just as good as mine.

 

Anyways, that's all I have to say on the matter since is literally the first and only scan/piece of information so far. All I hope is that this game detracts from the flaws that UNS3. (And maybe not do the same stuff that got people bitching.)

Oh, it's up now? Cool, I'll download it when I get home. Hope I won't get connectivity issues with online matches in this one.

Okay, so I was lucky to even do as good as I did online, but the connection issues that were in Storm 3 seem to have gone unfixed here. I know it's just a demo, but even so, online connectivity is still a sloopy mess. Though they've still time to announce it, CC2 is missing their opportunity with the Four-Ninja Brawl. As the trailers still put a small note in the top-right corner saying it's exclusive to single-player only. I love the small changes made to the actual gameplay. It doesn't feel like I'm constantly mashing a button for combos and speaking of those, it's much easier to pull off a long combo than previously. In Storm 3 I used Hinata's Ninjutsu to pull off the huge combo trophy just because it was difficult to dash chain a combo. Also the Team Types are welcome additions, as well as the Team UJs. 

 

All-in-all, they have my money going in for it, but if they keep the four ninja brawling to a single player experience, I might wait for a huge drop in price. That is a huge new concept for the Storm series, let alone, Ultimate Ninja. It'd be a terrible idea to misuse this opportunity.

Also, I agree that the 4-player battles should be multiplayer. The Wii even had that down way before Storm games included it (Although that wasn't online, just local multiplayer), it's kind of sad that Storm took THIS long to add that in.

I've only done a couple of online matches in Storm 3, and didn't have TOO many problems (Most of those matches were actually with Spiderfreak on here, no clue how it would be different if I fought random opponents). I could rarely connect to anything in the Japanese demo for Revolution, though. -_- Although I guess that's my fault since I'm kinda not in Japan.

It's mostly Region based. So if you play with someone who isn't in the same region/country as you, it usually doesn't end well.

 

But most of the time, it's usually someone who seems to have good connection, but it drops entirely when playing a match. I could say it's my connection, but the online connection issues I have only ever occur in Naruto, so it just isn't likely.
