The rumors are true, it seems. We're getting another Storm game, the sequel to UNS3: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

 

There's a couple of things I want to note here: 1) No recycled character art at all in this scan. 2) Logo for the game is of Team Kakashi, so obviously the story is going forward to the Ten Tails Revival Arc. 3) Naruto and Sasuke are doing their Rasengan-Chidori combo from that same arc, so either this is a confirmation of the story mode OR maybe its a confirmation of new Team Jutsu mechanics or possibly Justu Clashes. 4) It seems that the art in the game will be drawn by Kishimoto himself AND that he is creating brand new characters exclusively for the game. Who are they? I don't know. Your guess is just as good as mine.

 

Anyways, that's all I have to say on the matter since is literally the first and only scan/piece of information so far. All I hope is that this game detracts from the flaws that UNS3. (And maybe not do the same stuff that got people bitching.)

Having seen this, and played UNSR's demo, i can already say this:

... ._. Geez, all these True Awakenings...

They're built to be that way, but you still have to lose a lot of health in order to use them. You still do regular damage to them in both forms. Literally had Kurama come out and all I did was run up and use a regular combo on him with Kakashi to win.

Bijuu Minato Confirmed Playable

Not sure if this is posted yet, but I'm gonna talk about it anyways.

 

A Mecha-Naruto special will air on Sept. 11 at 7:00pm JST. It will last for one hour unlike the normal episodes. This episode will relate to UNSR, and reveal Mecha-Naruto's true identity. Interesting. What could happen in the episode? Would it take place before or during the 4th Shinobi War? We have to wait a few months before we find out.

I played the demo, and it plays pretty much the same as the previous installments. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, because I actually rather enjoy the formula, but I wish they had put in a little more than a new story mode and new characters.

Well, these changes and improvements ARE minor in terms of scale; its mostly little things like balancing, open frames, specific mechanics, and whatnot. It's actually hard to see up front, so if you can't see it, I don't blame you.

Considering that DBZ has a game coming to PS4 when the series ended AGES ago... I think it's safe to say we'll get more Naruto games. Besides, (MANGA SPOILERS)

I meant another Storm game in general. Also, this is Revolution. I remember back when everyone thought Generations was the third, but now we have UNS3. The focus in this one isn't on the story mode, just like with Generations.

So is it going over the general plot of the series like generations did? I saw some new story stuff from the manga in it.

There's some new stuff, but the main focus is on the new Ninja Tournament mode. Generations added in the Five Kage Summit, but was still more focused on something else (Specifically the separate character stories). My memory's a bit fuzzy here, but if I remember correctly, there's really not too much to cover fight-wise from the end of UNS3 to where UNSR is likely to end off.

 

In fact, I believe it's really just the fights with Obito and Madara. It's been a long time, but those are the main things I remember.

 

I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing UNS4 on the PS4 and Xbox One and on Steam for PC gamers.
