The gates of Xena High have opened. Please stay on the school territory.

At 10 PM you have to be in your rooms. No walking around in the dorms

after 10 PM.

I, Irenna, will decide who will be your room-mate for this year.

More information about the School Games

-) This will take place in an arena

-) There will be 1vs1 and 2vs2 fights. But also 1vs a monster or 2vs a monster

-) There are a few weapons in the arena (I will tell which one are in there) You can use these weapons to defeat your enemy

-) If you win a game you will receive points

-) The game ends if the other one surrenders/ the timer ran out/ an other student or the monster dies or when Irenna stops the game

-) You have to use your ability if you want to get more points

Sona smiled. "Normal humans are dangerous for our people. Irenna and I are trying to get everyone together as one. This school is a test. We are searching for someone who can look out for the others. A new leader for your generation. Someone strong enough. And about that teacher thing: there are many teachers in this building. You just have to know where to look."

"Ok..." He smiled " I believe you." He got up, and walked to open the door "See you in the morning!" Of course, Walter had his suspicions about this place, but a straightforward answer. Like the teachers, he'd have to figure it out himself. He found his room, and layed on the bed.

"If you have more questions, I'm always ready to help you, Walter" Sona was smiling when she saw him leave. She kinda liked that boy and wanted to help him more. But she couldn't. Not right now. She put some books away in a closet and went to bed.

Shella stared at Kasumi. Not having any more interesting in this girl, she went outside to check the board in the school hall. She was surprised that her name was on there. But who was Alexander? She went back to her room and asked Kasumi : "Do you know who Alexander is?" She jumped in her bed and waited for an answer.

By the time Shella returned, Kasumi was done fixing stuff up a bit, to which wasn't much to begin with. Now she just lied over her bed as she listened to her own music. Taking her headphones off for a moment, Kasumi turned her head over to Shella, a bit confused. "Yeah I know him; why?" She responded simply. Her bed was right next to the wall against room six: complete silence. She couldn't hear a single thump from the room, not from Alexander or whomever his roommate was.

"Because Alexander is my partner for the next game" Shella said.

She stared at Kasumi and she wanted to blow her away with her soundwaves. Shella didn't like this girl at all. She stood up and ran out of room 5. The door closed with a hard bang. Totally frustated she sat down in the hall and stared to the 5 on her door. She started singing a bit and she closed her eyes

Dumbfounded regarding Shella's sudden anger, Kasumi shut off her music and set it aside. About to talk to her for whatever her reasons may be for bursting like that, she stopped herself and lied silently, listening to her singing.

When the song was done. She stood up and went back in her room. This time totally ignoring Kasumi. Like she didn't excist. Shella took a book, got in bed and started reading.

Kasumi couldn't think of a very good reason for Shella to so quickly despise her. (I'm going to regret this....) she thought, and sat upright. "Shella, I'd appreciate it if you told me what I did or said wrong."

"Oh. You can talk" Shella said and put her book away. She pulled the sheets over her head and tried to sleep.

Kasumi grit her teeth in angst. She stood and walked near Shella, but decided not to pull the sheets off of her as she wanted to. "I did respond to you a moment ago. I asked "why," you answered, then left. I'm not sure if I did much else...." Kasumi's eyes drifted off a bit, amd she sat beside Shella. Making enemies with her roommate was the last of what she wanted. "It's nice that you're fighting on the same side as Alex. He's a good guy, but won't really talk." She smirked a bit. "I guess that's going to be a problem wil him too."

Shella waited for a moment and than said : "Sorry, Kasumi. I never had many friends. And I wanted to make some. I guess I'm just no good" She pulled away the sheets and looked at Kasumi. Shella smiled for a second an then looked away again.

"What is Alexander his ability? If I may ask"

Kasumi shrugged, careless of Shella's previous anger. She simply accepted it even then— it would be worse to start a fight over something stupid so Kasumi didn't get mad. She smiled back. "You've made one already, don't worry." Kasumi thought for a second, deciding she should probably let Alexander know he would be fighting soon. He obviously wouldn't be checking the board at all. She looked back at Shella, "He just controls water...and his own blood, I guess. He knows how to handle weapons well too, so it shouldn't be too tough for him."

"His own blood!" She said shocked "That's horrible! Being able to controll water is pretty nice but being able to controll blood" She made a weird Blegh sound.

"What is your ability?" Shella asked to Kasumi.

"Controlling his own blood is more helpful than you may think," Kasumi reassured, but did agree with the "blegh" Shella made, nodding once. "My ability is teleportation. I can only go about sixty yards but I leave behind an afterimage every time. Yours?"

" That's cool!" Shella said. "My ability is soundwaves. With these waves I can blow stuff away or break it." Shella took a stone out of her pocket. She controlled some waves to the stone and the stone broke into many little pieces. "See?"

The soundwave used to break the stone was sharp and screechy, making Kasumi cringe as the stone fell in pieces. She knew that Shella could, of course, make much more musically pleasant, but pleasing soundwaves aren't usually seen to be able to break stone. "Well..." Kasumi began, "That's a pretty cool ability. I've always been into music, so it must be nice being able to play whatever you wanted at will. Even just a loud blare to draw people's attention, or to shut them up— would be pretty helpful."

" Yeah it is. So you are into music heh? Do you play an instrument? Or do you only listen to music?" Shella was happy they had something in common:Music. Shella placed her hands next to her head. She closed her eyes and started to think about a melody. When she remembered one, the sound of a piano started to fill the room. "Is this good?" She asked Kasumi

Sona looked at the clock. The next Game will start soon. "I hope Alexander and Shella are ready.." She said when Irenna walked in her office.

"They haven't even met eachother. But Shella knows what his ability is. So it is going to be alright." Irenna said.

"I hope you are right" Sona sighed.

"I don't play any instrument regularly, so I'm no good, but I do know how to play a piano. I mostly just listen to music, often without any lyrics." Kasumi stated, she sat back and listened to the now beautiful soundwaves Shella began conjuring. Quietly enough to not drown out the music, and loud enough for Shella to hear her, Kasumi nodded, "Yes— it's beautiful. Did you come up with it yourself?"

"No, this melody is from a song my mother always sang for me". Shella listened to the music, remembering every single word her mother sang back then. 

"Hey, if you ever want to play an instrument, I can help you with that". She smiled. Shella looked at the clock. "Oh god! I don't have a lot of time left! I have to fight really soon!"

The bell rang for the next game. Irenna was putting some arrows in the halls so Shella and Alexander knew where they had to go. And then she joined Sona in the spectators area. 

"Are they ready?" Sona asked

"I have no idea" Irenna said a bit worried

Shella heard the bell. Her song stoped. She looked at Kasumi

"Shit! I have to go. Seeya later" She said and waved to her while she ran through the door. Shella saw the arrows and started to follow them. When she entered the arena she saw the teachers looking at her. Then she realized something. Where is Alexander?! She started to panic a bit. Shella hoped Kasumi would get him. If she didn't Shella would be in a lot of trouble. Now she coul only wait an hope for the best.

As soon as Shella left, Kasumi hurried— rushed to the next room. She knocked, receiving no answer. She knocked again. Inside, Noah and Alexander both continued what they were dping individually, ignoring the knocking. Then she knocked a third time, frustratingly louder, "Alex, open the damn door!!" In a few moments, Alexander opened the door, Kasumi imminently pulling him out and shutting the door. "You have a fight right now...! Don't be late."

Alexander nodded with a simple, "Yeah." And followed the arrows before coming to the arena with Shella. Being considerate with the available weapons, Alexander took the pole and a single shuriken, glancing at Shella, then at Sona and Irenna.
