Ch.1 Reawakened

The light disappeared from the top of Binary Tower in Beta City. A girl landed atop it and slowly opened her eyes. she looked around then the word Welcome appears infront of her. she ignores it and begins to check her skills and stats. in a few minutes she finishes with everything and smiles. "Good its back to normal" she says. The girl then begins to walk around the roof and stops when she finds Luna. she walks up to her and crouches down and begins to shake her awake "Hey! Wake up! I didn't come here to wait for you to wake from a 5 year sleep!" she yelled.

Zero and Skull both awaken in what appears to be an old timey elevator with 24 buttons, with the first labeled 0 and the last labeled 23.

(im setting this up so don't worry im just giving you guys a place to be)

 

Chronos, Asura, and many of the remaining players sees the light atop the largest tower of the city. about half of the players run in a panic, screaming something about the apocalypse, while the others seem to think its a new threat to deal with and draw there weapons and catiously head towards the building.

 

(the 4 of you may now assume control of your characters)

Static rang in my ears as I saw color. No...have I been asleep? I don't remember anything but being with Skull and the rest... Then... I realized now looking at myself the clothes I had on all ripped and torn up. The crash... The world crashed...but why has it rebooted now? Never mind that where are the others!? I looked around only to realized my furry friend next to me in the small elevator. Sleeping soundly I saw that he was different, he was even bigger now and had three tails... I guess the crash did something to him.. I stood up and woke up my furry friend. "Oh I'm Skull..." I said looking at him, he yawned and recognized my voice. He perked up practically tackled me licking my face. "H-hey Skull stop." I laughed a little. Skull walked back off of me. I wiped my face, "Is something wrong? You look afraid."

 

"I thought the crash erased you."

 

"What..."

 

"I almost turned back...into..."

 

"But I was right next to you..." I looked at him in confusion. "None of that matters now. Lets just get out of here and find the rest. I'm worried..." I reached the buttons and they were ordered 0 to 23. Press zero... Huh? That voice.. "Techno?" My hand moved on it's own and pressed the number 0... Techno? Was he still there? I sighed in relief I thought he was gone... I got into battle position having my metal surround my arms...in case we get ambushed. Skull readied his three regular swords and..a new one. A fire sword...

Chronos drew his katanas quickly, readying for a fight. "(I'm not strong yet... But I will be sooner or later...) He thought, preparing for a battle.

Luna slowly opened her eyes. Her body felt....different. Echo's face and her memories of her old friends. Hibrai....Xio....Echo....Zero....Skull....where was everyone?! She imminently sat up, looking at the girl that had awoken her.

"Who are you?" She snapped.

"Where are my friends?!" Luna yelled.

She was confused, scared. She knew the area had glitched badly. However, she was worried about her friends. It too her a moment to realize she had changed....a lot. Her appearance was different, and her power seemed different. What had happened to her...?

The elevator went up but then it shook as if something landed on top of it. A large axe then came through the top and the elevator stopped moving. It was stuck in between 3 and 2. The axe disappeared but it looked like something was ripping the elevator top off.the doors infront weren't opening either.

 

Along side Chronos were 5 other players prepared for battle. 2 with swords and shields in full armor, one with regular clothes and a very long sword, 2 archers, and a theif player whom of which you almost didn't see.

 

 

The girl looked at Luna "your atop Binary Tower, almost halfway across the continent from where you last were located. Code: Luna..... Thats you am i correct?"

The elevator went up but then it shook as if something landed on top of it. A large axe then came through the top and the elevator stopped moving. It was stuck in between 3 and 2. "You all ready to fight, if neccicary? Y'know, like checked your equipment, items, weapons...?" He asked the group. If he could help it, he wasn't going to let the group go in half-cocked.

The two knights nodded and one spoke "it would be unwise to do so. And have you done the same?"

 

The theif didn't seem to pay attention and the archers had their eyes trained on the tower.

 

The swordsmen looked at Chronos. "I have to tell all of you. That i dont know you. But Never the less. You better not die if we really do have to fight"

What!? I stayed on one side with Skull it looked like there was no way to escape except to go up ourselves. But...it was like something was ripping the top off... I pulled out my cannons and told Skull to get back far as possible in the tiny space we where in. Then shot two molten fireballs at the ceiling drawing half of a skull to shield us... I closed my eyes and looked up to see nothing... "Come on Skull let's get up there." I said and shot a blade at the ceiling connected to a chain, I picked up Skull with one arm. We headed up once we reached the zero door and Skull broke down the door using Elemental strike. I jumped to into the corridor and let Skull down... "Where are we...?"

 

"The main grid...this place...Xio could be here."

 

"Xio? Well then we got to hurry!" I started running...down the corridor.

"You all ready to fight, if neccicary? Y'know, like checked your equipment, items, weapons...?" He asked the group. If he could help it, he wasn't going to let the group go in half-cocked.

"Ehe. I'll die if I have to. Not like I have a control of fate like my name would make you think. But yes, I've prepared myself as best as I can now, though." He looked back at the tower. "You, theif. You're gonna be the fastest of us. Scout ahead, archers, cover him so he can make a safe return, you two knights, the swordsmen, and you." he pointed at Asura.  "Follow me. We're going to keep the crowd calm for now and hope to get them out. Most of them probably aren't well-equipped for this. Our job is to fight whatever might attack the bystandards and keep as many alive as possible. If anyone is hurt already make sure to get them somewhere safe." Chronos looked at the tower. "Name's Chronos. You're names?" He asked.

Something hit the ceiling of the elevator right behind zero and skull. Then out of nowhere what appeared to be a ninja appeared infront of the duo as well. "Stop! You are in a restricted area!.... Well youve been in this restricted area. I cant let you pass." The ninja said.

 

 

(Btw if you two havent id like you to at least read the opening of the first. BEta version for some insight and if you want you can read on for character insight)

I dropped my cannons a little and spoke, "Restricted area?" This is the main grid though that makes sense...but why was I in that elevator if I wasn't allowed in this area in the first place? "Then why would I? Out of all people be here? I only found myself here." I looked at the ninja confused. However I didn't want to start a fight now...I only just woke up. Skull was staring at the ninja paying very close to his movements...

(Np just take note i edited the last part of my post)

 

The ninja held out his hand and data clusters began to appear. They began to form a kunai. Which the ninja then took hold of. "Thats the question we would like to ask. And the other one is are you the one who attacked the others?"

 

Behind them a larger man finnaly got out of the elevator shaft and stood up. He was large and burly. And kinda looked like Payton Manning. Except he had a gash across his left eye and acted like he was holding something that wasnt there.

Luna nodded slightly.

"Don't ever call me 'Code: Luna' again...I'm not some code!" She snapped.

Data seemed to glitch Luna up a bit.

"Who are you then? Where is Xio and Echo?" She snapped.

He isnt on the grid either and his mental brainwaves changed completley before the game crash. Now to tell you who i am.... Im The Co-creator of the Beta Version, Leviathin." She told her. Thats why i called you Code... Its just the way i talk. I just came from the Over World or what you call reality.

 

 

Chronos was having absolutely no luck with the players. They all seemed crazy. Except for the 10 gunners from a guild called Gun Loader.

"Alright, everyone who isn't able to defend themselves, get to a safe place! I will try to heal you if you are to damaged to survive for long!" He knew he couldn't save them all, but he damn sure could try! -you are such a pansy! You can't survive unless I take over, and you know it!-

(I thought it was fun now trying to read it is a bit hard when it comes to my posts but i lived through it. Damnit whats with th side comments. They are cracking me up)

 

The crowd was running inside to hide in building. So the streets were clearing up.

"Gunners. Good..." He thought. "Escort the people here out by gunpoint, if they resist, fire a warning shot. If they insist on staying, knock them out and drag them to a safe location, if possible" He yelled, continuing through the crowd. It may be near-impossible, but he had to try.

"Attacked the others? Do you mean on the elevator? Uh...yeah that would be me then...but I was only trying to get out of the elevator. And I need to find out if a friend is here." Plus there was the random huge axe...what do you expect me to do... I let my cannon arms break away and surround my arms as metal rings for now. Skull started growling I patted his head, Its okay he's not a threat right now. 

"The other Moderators..." Said the ninja.

"You heard the man! Get to it!" Yelled a woman who if you were to guess was the leader

"Thank you!" Chronos yelled, continuing through the crowd, people were going into the building. It may be bad or good they are. If whatever is attacking is in there, were in for some trouble... Let's wait till I hear screams to get worried though..." he thought, muscling through the rushing crowd.
