The light disappeared from the top of Binary Tower in Beta City. A girl landed atop it and slowly opened her eyes. she looked around then the word Welcome appears infront of her. she ignores it and begins to check her skills and stats. in a few minutes she finishes with everything and smiles. "Good its back to normal" she says. The girl then begins to walk around the roof and stops when she finds Luna. she walks up to her and crouches down and begins to shake her awake "Hey! Wake up! I didn't come here to wait for you to wake from a 5 year sleep!" she yelled.

Zero and Skull both awaken in what appears to be an old timey elevator with 24 buttons, with the first labeled 0 and the last labeled 23.

(im setting this up so don't worry im just giving you guys a place to be)

 

Chronos, Asura, and many of the remaining players sees the light atop the largest tower of the city. about half of the players run in a panic, screaming something about the apocalypse, while the others seem to think its a new threat to deal with and draw there weapons and catiously head towards the building.

 

(the 4 of you may now assume control of your characters)

"Nah, I don't want to trouble you. Plus it's not like I have a destination." I said, Skull started walking towards the exit.

"You wont get far. Your on an island" she tells him. "Off the coast of the beta version"

"If you say so then." I said then realizing, "I don't think I caught your name."

"Its Avia" says the mage "and you keep the ring. You got it... Somewhat fairly" she then began walking down a hallway.

"Ok then..." I put on the ring and followed her on Skull's back.

(Arrow, weren't you going to do a Time skip or something?)

I looked at the ring and could only feel guilty about taking it, when it was most likely the reason the girl was here... So her name was Avia... I wondered why I spawned here anyway. Didn't Chris say something about them being afraid of death? I wondered now...I only thought it was because of another moderator...but who was the actual threat? I only got more confused...

When outside it was a literal jungle. Lying dead was a green wyvern miniboss. Scales slashed apart and scorched. "Follow me" she says

I nodded my head and followed her lead, Skull was smelling the area. Saying it didn't seem familiar to him... If this is no where near where we've been. I wonder where the others are...they could be anywhere...

"I see..." She said. "I wish i could tell you more about Xio and the others....never the less helped but we havet the slightest clue...we were only able to contact one moderator.... Anka... Layer 23. The core." She told Luna. "But trust me if i could have told you would have"@Solarflare(Btw the mage is the new 3rd character)

"Can we speak to Anka?" Luna finally asked. "If if you can't get ahold of anyone, that's okay. I'll find them." She said seriously. (Kill me Arrow. Neko is sorry.)

Leviathin frowned. "Not to my knowledge"

I looked around as it seemed quiet...there were distance sounds of snakes or any other reptiles. But nothing too close. "So...will I need to get on a ship to get to the main grid?" I asked as it seemed obvious but...it was just really awkward...

"Of course" said Avia. "Its two days off so itll be a while and the boat ride is three days to reach the west coast of the main continent of the Beta Version. Acctually this island is one of nine off coast islands." She explained.

"Thanks for the information." I said looking up to see, leaves blocking the sunlight. 

"I guess im to return empty handed." She added

I folded my ears down then took off the ring, "I already told you that you should take the ring." I said holding the ring out to the girl, I'm giving this to her no matter what. 

"I didnt get it myself. Thats my rule. Ever since joining the Beta Version, i said i would only take what i got myself cause they said a mage was a support type... I proved them wrong" she said.

I sighed then chuckled a little, Is this what they called stubbornness? "But you deserve some of the credit too." I said then quickly turned my head as I heard a sound grow louder and louder. I knew it, after the boss Railth Alimitor is defeated his minions will ambush the players if they haven't gotten out of the area quick enough. Striking when least expected. I readied my cannons...

"Whats wrong" she asked

"Something's coming." I closed my eyes as I could hear about 20 of them. "Get ready for combat." I said.

A whilwind began forming in Avia's hand.

I turned around opening my eyes, seeing a minion try to attack me from above. I slammed down on him with my cannon...when he faded away. What!? An illusion? But at the corner of my eye I could see another one behind me, ready to attack from behind. Sh-

 

--Skull--

I was already fighting off a horde of minions. They were ambushing all at once... I couldn't see where Zero was...

Avia brought her hand down and let loos a tremendous cyclone the did small damage but blew back the foes from all sides.

I landed on the ground running to help Skull, I hopped onto his back. I started shooting some minions in the tree's, Skull helped...
