Synopsis:

A thousand years before the Keyblade War, the Realm of Light was peaceful. During this time, the worlds were all united and there was no separation; it was all one land. During this time, there were seven emporers that ruled the land splitting the realm into seven kingdoms. They ruled together with brotherly love and treated the people like their own children. Their castle resided in Daybreak Town. One day, thirteen overlords stormed the castle and murdered the seven emporers and the thirteen overlords set up a tyranny overnight. The people learned of what happened and overthrew the thirteen overlords. The bodies of the emporers were found and they were all buried within a tomb in an unknown location from Daybreak Town. The tomb was adorned with treasures and artwork. The walls were covered with pictures of the emporers and ancient writing of the history of the emporers. The writing on the walls held a message. The message was a curse and it goes as this: Whosoever disturbs the tomb of the seven emporers shall experience the terrors of nightmares, deepest darkness shall consume them, and the army of lingering spirits shall rise. Now thousands of years later, after the seven lights have defeated the thirteen darknesses, the curse has been awakened and Yen Sid has noticed strange signs and calls Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Mickey into action to find the tomb and solve the mystery. At the same time, they will meet a new enemy that's after the treasures and the secrets to taking the Realm of Light for themselves. Can they stop the curse and escape with their lives?

Thank you! I still need at least five more opinions on this in order to start the story. Could you get others to see this and leave an opinion?

Chapter 1

 

Yen Sid sits in his tower, eyes closed and hands folded. He thinks about what has passed in the recent years. Thirteen years ago, the three keyblade masters disappeared from the Realm of Light trying to stop an apocalypse from beginning again. In the past year, the seven lights have defeated the thirteen darknesses and discovered the true Kingdom Hearts. He can't help but think about what the future contains. That's not the only thing he is thinking about though. He has obtained recent reports from around the Realm of Light regarding strange sightings and encounters. What is the significance of all of this? He thinks to himself. That's why he summoned King Mickey. He knows he can't figure this out on his own. As he is thinking, Mickey comes walking through the door.

 

"Hello Master Yen Sid." he greets Yen Sid "You summoned me. Is there something you need?" Yen Sid looks up and opens his eyes.

"Mickey, I want you to summon the rest of the lights." he requests "I fear a new darkness is sprouting within the Realm of Light."

"Does this involve the thirteen darknesses?" Mickey asks.

"Much darker than that." Yen Sid replies. He gets out two parchments, ink, and a quill and Mickey begins to wite letters to the other six lights.

Sora and Riku are sitting on the leaning palm tree looking out over the water. It has been a year since they confronted Master Xehanort and finally met their predecessors.

"I wonder what they're doing right now?" Sora says.

"Who knows?" Riku replies "I'm just glad that we saved them and finished off Master Xehanort."

"Hey Riku, we should visit them at times." Sora suggests "Or we could write to them. You know; to stay connected."

"Sora, there is only one thing that keeps you, me, and Kairi connected to them." he replies "That thing is this." He turns and points to where Sora's heart is. Sora puts his hand on his chest and smiles.

"You're right." Sora says "As long as we remain connected, we're never far apart." Then, they look back out to the horizon. Just then, Kairi is running to them.

"Sora! Riku!" she shouts. They turn their heads to her. "Look what I found." She hands them a bottle with a roll of paper in it. It has Mickey's sigil on it. They open it and begin to read. As they read, their faces go from casual to horrified.

Ventus, Terra, and Aqua practice in the throne room of the now reborn Land of Departure. It is even grander than before, but compared to the previous Land of Departure, much is the same. Ventus and Terra spar each other while Aqua practices her magic and watches.

"Come on Terra!" Ventus says "You're going easy on me! You can do better than that."

"Ok, but you might want to be ready." Terra replies and they clash again. Aqua chuckles, shakes her head, and continues her magic practice. The Land of Departure throne room is bigger than its previous one. There are three larger thrones and they face at angles into a center. It is a separate ring for Mark of Mastery tests. Behind the center throne is an orb for face-to-face conversations and a slot for letters. As the three of them were practicing, a letter in a bottle comes into the slot. Aqua notices and goes over to the mail slot. She grabs the bottle and sees a roll with Mickey's sigil.

"Ven! Terra!" she calls and they stop sparring and turn to her "Mickey sent us a letter." Ventus and Terra go to her and they open the bottle and read. As they read, their faces turn horrified.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi wait outside the Mysterious Tower for Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. They are excited to see them and rather worried about what they have read. Just then, a light corridor opens and three gliders come out. They disappear and Ventus, Terra, and Aqua as themselves are left. The six greet each other with the girls hugging and the guys clasping hands and shaking.

"We haven't seen you three in a while." said Sora.

"Same thing here." Ventus replies "That was a scary letter we read."

"It was." Riku replies "It points out that this has nothing to do with Master Xehanort. What do you think it could be?"

"I don't know." said Terra "Whatever it is, we must be ready."

"How can we be properly ready when we don't even know what it is?" Kairi implies.

"I agree. We need to see Yen Sid now in order to understand fully what is going on." Aqua adds. They all agree and enter the tower and go to Yen Sid's chamber. He was in thought when they entered. He opens his eyes and smiles upon their sight.

"It has been a while since I last saw you all together." He says "I am glad you are all here."

"So what is going on that you summoned us?" Ventus asks

"It is a dark force that has a risen." Yen Sid replies "Its essence is darker than Master Xehanort."

Chapter 2"What dark force?" asked Terra."How could it be darker than Master Xehanort?" asked Riku "There was no one that we have faced that is darker than him." Yen Sid nodded in agreement and brushed his beard."Indeed. He has been the Realm of Light's greatest enemy." he said "This darkness, however, is an ancient darkness.""Ancient? What do you mean?" asked Aqua. Yen Sid closed his eyes for a moment in thought, then opened them back up."I am still unsure, but this darkness dates back to ancient times before the Keyblade War." he said, "As you all know, the World was filled with light during this mystical age. There were no borders between worlds. During this time, the World was ruled by seven emperors. They lived a world known as Daybreak Town. The Keyblade Graveyard where you fought the thirteen darknesses was once a flourishing civilization and their home. The seven emperors ruled the Realm of Light like a father looking over his son or a mother over her daughter. Unfortunately, thirteen warlords struck down the seven emperors and seized the Realm of Light. The people rebelled and overthrew the thirteen tyrants. They did find the bodies of the emperors and buried them together in a grand tomb.""Sounds mysterious, but what does this have to do with the darkness you sense?" asked Sora."The darkness that I sense traces back to the Keyblade Graveyard." said Yen Sid, "I have hthe stars telling me of dark apparitions. They are of dark figures that appear throughout the Realm of Light at unexpected times. They are creating disturbance and chaos. I do not know the significance of these apparitions, nor do I know their origins. That is why I told Mickey to write you all a letter." Everyone looks at Mickey waiting for his explanation."We are to go to the Keyblade Graveyard and solve the mystery behind these apparitions." said Mickey. Everyone nods and understands why they were summoned."Yen Sid, I noticed something." said Kairi, "You said this darkness is worse than Master Xehanort, how can we be prepared so we can stand up to any obstructions?""Yeah, and it's not only that Kairi." said Ventus "How will we find this place in such a large world? It's so easy to get lost in that world.""You all are the seven lights." Yen Sid said, "You have stood up to the greatest threat the Realm of Light has ever seen since the Keyblade War. I have great faith in all of you. As for finding the place, you will need a special guide to go along." Then, the door is heard opening and someone is heard walking in. The six of them turn around and standing right in front of the entrance is Noctis Lucis Caelum. Everything about is the same ever since he witnessed the great battle of the seven and thirteen darknesses."Noctis!" everyone shouts in surprise. He smiles and nods in greeting."It's been a while great seven lights." he says."Noctis will be with the seven of you throughout your journey." Yen Sid said, "I am counting on all of you to solve the problem and save the Realm of Light from possible danger." The six of them nod."I have a warning for all of you though before we go." Noctis says and everyone turns to him, "We are about to go to an unknown part of the Keyblade Graveyard. Many before you have explored this part and have never made it out. Be on your guard."

Sorry this has taken so long. I have been busy lately, but here is the third chapter.

 

Chapter 3

 

They go through a light corridor and come out in the Seat of War of the Keyblade Graveyard. The landscape is the same as it was not that long ago when they battled the thirteen darknesses. The seven lights and Noctis look around the barren horizon.

"I remember it was not that long ago." Noctis says "I remember standing at a distance and watching you all battle the thirteen darknesses. It was an intense scene. I wanted to help you, but I remembered that it would interfere with destiny as Yen Sid reminded me." He then turns to the seven. "I had little faith in all of you to be victorious. Please forgive me." He kneels before Mickey.

"Don't worry." Mickey replies "You did what Yen Sid told you. We sometimes doubted ourselves, but we pulled through." Noctis stands up and smiles.

"So where should we go from here?" Aqua asks "This world is huge and it's easy to get lost."

"I'll show you the way." he replies "Follow me, but stay close. Keep in mind that you could find anything strange in this world. Keep an eye out for anything strange." Noctis and the seven climb down the rock face of the mountain and begin their trek through the unknown. They avoid the cemetary where the ancient Keyblade War was and where the seven and thirteen fought since they knew that they would find nothing there, but keyblades lying in the dust. They walk through countless miles and they start become weary. Ventus was getting tired especially. He might have fought in a great war, but he never had to walk so many miles and the mountains and canyons of the Badlands were a ways ahead.

"Hey guys!" he says gasping. Everyone turns around. "How about we rest for a while. I'm dying here."

"I am too." Sora says in the same fashion. "Anymore and my feet will fall off."

"Very well." Noctis says "I do not think we should rest for long though. We still have a ways to go until we reach the spot. Half an hour enough for you?"

"PLEASE!" shout Sora and Ventus. Noctis nods and then the two lights collapse onto the ground.

"Ventus is the same way as Sora." Riku says to Terra chuckling.

"Yes he is." Terra replies chuckling as well "They are like twins. Sora tells you to stop going easy when you spar?"

"Yeah he does." Riku replies and the two of them continue to chat. Aqua and Kairi begin talking to each other as well.

"You know Aqua," Kairi begins "because of your charm, I have found new strength. I can wield the keyblade and I can do things I couldn't do before. I thank you for it. You are the reason I am who I am."

"Of course Kairi." Aqua replies "You were very special and I wanted you to be safe when I first met you. When the Unversed attacked you, I knew that you had light and needed to be protected." They continue to chat. Sora and Ventus, however, fell asleep and Mickey talks to Noctis about how far until they get to the place. Ventus wakes up and rubs his eyes. Then, he hears a strange sound. He stands up and looks around. His 'light warrior' instincts kick in. The sound comes again and Ventus summons his keyblade. This time, Sora wakes up and he looks around as well. Unfortunately, no one else notices the sound until it is too late. Suddenly, a cloud of darkness comes from the sky and lands a few feet in front of the two. Everyone pays attention to them this time and the other five lights summon their keyblades along with Noctis who summons his seven swords. Then, the dark cloud turns into a dark figure in armor. Eight more clouds of darkness come in different spots surrounding the eight and turn into dark figures.

"What are they?!" Terra asks.

"I think they are lingering spirits!" Noctis replies "We have to fight them in order to make it. Show me your power, seven lights!" The dark figures summon dark keyblades as well and take stance and the fight begins. Everyone fights one spirit each. They are not easy opponents, but the spirits are smitten and dissolve. Everyone is gasping at the end of the battle and unsummons their weapons.

"I think those are what Yen Sid was talking about." Sora suggests.

"Indeed. We must go now. I can tell it is worse than we thought." Noctis says. They trek more and reach the canyons and mountains of the Badlands. Much climbing is done throughout the landscape. When they come across a small sized plain, they find a huge structure. It is a large building the same color as the ground. There are tall statues of armored guards standing. Between two is a large plaque with ancient letters on it and drawings on it. The eight are amazed at the sight and get a closer look.

"What is it?" Riku asks in amazement.

"This is it." Noctis says "This is our destination. Summon your keyblades, you'll need them." The seven summon their keyblades and walk closer to the plaque. Noctis sees the ancient language, but can't read it. Strangely, the seven lights can and don't know why. Sora reads:

"Heirs to the throne meet their predecessors' grave.

Discovering a secret so long conceiled.

A precious heart they wish to save-

Enter in, see new depths revealed.

 

A danger so dark, yet undaunting-

The keys of seven unlock

The soldier spirit forever haunting-

Dangers of darkness, to them thirteen flock.

 

The eight of them don't know what the message means and ponder on it a little. Then, the seven keyblades of theirs rise up into the air with light surrounding them. They line up next to each other and point at the plaque. Sora moves out of aim. Light shoots from the ends of them and hits the plaque. The plaque moves into the wall and stairs leading down open up.The tomb has been opened.
