Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (???????? ??????????????????) is a Kingdom Hearts game for the PlayStation Portable. It was first released in Japan on January 9, 2010, and will later be released in North America on September 7, 2010, and Europe on September 10, 2010. The English versions will feature extras such as altered cutscenes and the appearance of a cloaked figure.

 

Chronologically, Birth by Sleep occurs ten years prior to Kingdom Hearts. It follows Terra, Ven and Aqua in their quest to find Master Xehanort, and investigate what is happening to the worlds.

 

Like Kingdom Hearts, the theme song of Birth by Sleep is Hikari in the Japanese version, and Simple and Clean in the English version. Both songs are by Utada Hikaru. Other music in the game is composed by Yoko Shimomura.

Final Mix: Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix is going to be released in January 2011 in Japan. There are some new aditions from the Japanese BBS. Some new additions are going to be the Mysterious Figure, which was not in the Japanese BBS, or Pete D-Link in Japanese BBS. You can also fight Master Eraqus in his armor in Mirage Arena and you can also fight in the world Monstro in Mirage Arena.

"Instead of having the MP bar, in this game there is a Focus Gauge in its place. The Focus Gauge allows the player to use the ShotLocks. There are several ways to fill the gauge, such as using Ethers or fighting the unversed. The ShotLock is highly recommend to be used when the player is surrounded by enemies."

 

The mini games should also be mentioned, shouldn't they? Here's something:

"Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep has four mini games. The player is able to play three of them in Disney Town, and the last, in Olympus Coliseum.

Above, you can find their names and their goals.

Break The Urns- The player needs to break the urns with his keyblade or they can rid the barrels in order to destroy more in a small amount of time. This mini game's goal is to get a score higher than Hercules'.

Rumble Racing- This mini game is a race where the player just needs to stay in the first place to get the prize.

Fruit ball- This game's goal is to put more fruits into the enemy's line which has the word "Goal" into it. There are four enemies for each character.

Ice cream Beat- The player has to press the X button at the right time in order to make a higher score. If the player doesn't go well, he receives the qualification "Bad". If he goes normally, then it's "Good". If it is pretty good, then you get "Cool". However, if you get a really good score, then you get "Fantastic". If you fulfill some requirements, you are able to get a new command style, the Frozen Fortune.

 

And lastly, I think that a paragraph dedicated for the Mirage Arena should be added. Maybe it could be something like this:

"Normally, Olympus Coliseum is the place where the player can train and defeat various bosses. However, in Birth By Sleep, the world where the player can train and defeat optional bosses, is the Mirage Arena. In there, the player can also exchange their medals which are obtained after clearing a stage of the Mirage Arena, for commands, shotlocks or recipes. It's possible to replay Command Boards or the Rumble Racing. It's also the only place where is possible to play with friends using the wireless system."
