It's one year ago when humans started to appear in Dawn. I didn't really had problems with them. But because of the war it's difficult to keep them safe. A week ago I let some of the humans join my army. Vanissa is probably doing the same now.

Humans are strong. When they entered our world they received an ability that can help them. But the war isn't over yet. We have to protect the walls!

 

 

You joined your army one week ago. And some basic trainings are over. Now it's your time to do your duty in the war. Or meet the other people in your army. Be ready for any attack. Don't let your guard down.

Vanissa was walking through the streets of Retria. She looked to the sky and also to the invisible walls. It's going to be hard to break them. But her army got way stronger than before. These humans were pretty useful. But there was something that bothered her as well. How did they got here? And why? Was it destiny? Or just bad luck? Vanissa didn't really talk very much to one of the humans. She really had to do it someday.

Ekidnu was losing the fight to say awake... "Must hkgt!" He groaned. "Mind... Feels nub... Like...taking over..." His hand raised up against his will. "Watch out!" A dagger shot at Demona. "Can't... Control... Body..."

demona rolled over just in time and groaned. " dangit that hurt" she whispered trying to stand up. after a few seconds of puppet like moves she got on her feet and growled.

James was surprised by Ekindu. "What do you mean you can't control yourself?" James asked. He quickly picked Demona up and carried her away from where Ekindu was and put her down. He then engulfed himself in flames ready to fight if he had to. "If you can't control yourself, then what do we do about that?" James asked.

"Song...controlling... Body..." He attacked with a axe, swinging wildly. "Help... Me..."

demona looked at james and blushed looking at her feet. " let me fight him james" she said standing up and staggering. she grabbed an elves weapon and steped infront of james. " a song controlls him so.... james sing while i hold him off" she said hoping it would work.

James quickly dodged and sent fire to Ekindu's axe. He then looked at Demona. "Sing? I can't sing." James said confused.

demona looked at ekindu and raised an eyebrow. " i don't hear anything so what if it's in his head" she asked glancing at james. demona staggered and stepped towards ekindu trying to firgure out what to do if she was right.

Immediately, he stopped his onslaught. "I-" he dissipates his axe. "I'm... Humiliated... To be fooled with a cheap trick... And to hurt you..." He walked off, depressed.

demona grabbed his hand and dug her heels into the ground. " hey you can't just leave after that. it wasn't your fault anyways" she said tightening her grip. pain pierced through her as she turned him around. " stuff happens and is forgiven. if you didn't purposely try to kill us we will forgive you" demona said hugging him.

"Of..." He placed his hand on her head, trying to heal the pain. "Of course... Forgive..."

James put his hands on his hips. "Hey you two, I am over here." James said. He was worried about the two of them getting close to each other. "And yep, we will forgive you." James said.

demona pulled away as she felt the pain start dulling. " don't waste your energy on me and heal yourself up okay" she said looking at her feet " you already took a few hits for me so i won't let you end up healing me too". demona looked over at james and frowned, " james come here" she said pouting.

James walked over to Demona. "Okay I am here. Now what?" James asked.

she pulled james and ekindu close and hugged both of them tightly. " best big brothers ever" she whispered happily loosening her grip. she looked up at the two males and smiled.

"It's..." Ekidnu said. "It's fine..." He crumpled over on pain. "That witch...."

James looked at Demona. "No, no, no, I am not going to be your brother. I like you, I can't be a brother to you. Why put me in the friend zone area?" James asked.

demona let go of james and slowly lowered ekindu to the ground. " we'll get her next time okay" she said. demona stood up and turned to james tears threatening to spill. she wiped her eyes and looked at her feet. " i don't want to get you killed so i'm trying to push you away...... james please just forget about your emotions for awhile" she begged grabbing his hand.

James looked at her. "I told you before, I don't care what dangers we get in. I refuse to die if I have something worth living for. I love you, and I can't stop that feeling. No matter what happens, we can go through everything together. I promised you that I would take you home and I can't do that if I am dead, so I refuse to die." James said with a smile.

demona growled and looked up at him. " you don't understand. ruby gave me to options. 1 being i agree to your love and end up getting you killed or reject it and kill you myself" she yelled tears rampading down her cheeks. demona looked down at her feet and silently cried. ' i lo- like you too but if i choose to accept i'll get us both killed possibly ekindu too" she whispered.

James held her close. "Look, I understand. But I refuse to care. No matter what happens, I will see to it that we all live. I will keep you both alive, and I will survive as well. We will all live, no matter what anybody says. I love you, Demona." James said with a smile.

demona blushed and nodded. " i-i love you too" she whispered burying her face into his chest. trust was the last thought before she passed out from blood lost. demona went limp in his arms tears staining her cheeks.

James kissed the top of her head and then carried her to the old mansion that was nearby. When they got inside, he placed her down on a fancy bed and sat down next to her. He expect Ekindu to follow them inside. He then placed his hand on Demona's and used magic to transfer some of his blood to Demona so she wouldn't have to worry of blood lost.

demona slowly woke up and snuggled into james' chest. " what happened" she whispered keeping her eyes closed. she slowly opened her eyes and looked around almost screaming at the change in styles.

James smiled. "We have arrived at the mansion. This place no one ever goes to, so it is our new hideout." James said with a smile.

(sorry everyone i was out didn't expect it to go that far..lol are you all still on the battle field)
