alright, i can't remember where i heard it but someone suggested (someone reliable most likely) or stated that if a persons heartless and nobody are destroyed, their somebody will return

with that in mind, what if the person had a weak will (or heart or what ever determines whether someone has a nobody) and only produced a heartless, would taking out that heartless have the same effect?

Yeah, the whole Somebody returning thing was revealed in Another Report, a booklet included as a preorder of KH2FM+.

Well, if they only produced a Heartless, then their body and soul, I'm guessing, would fade away. The heart will become a Heartless; if defeated by a Keyblade, it would be released and return to Kingdom Hearts, and if not, would be captured by another Heartless and continue the cycle until a Keyblade releases it.

well thats kinda dumb, we only get postcards or posters, i want something like that from a preorder! oh well

I noticed that part of it said you need to kill the Heartless before the Nobody, because the Heartless has the Heart.

if so, then lets hope that for some of the nobodies that we actually want back (as sombodies), sora defeated their heartless first

Yeah, Nomura specifically said the Heartless has to be defeated before the Nobody, but he didn't completely deny that it's also possible the other way around.
