It has been a loooong time since I've posted a drawing on the forum, mostly because I keep forgetting to show off my new projects. lol So to fix that, I'm uploading an ENTIRE GALLERY of my newest finished drawings. I even decided to throw in a couple old school projects as well. I've cropped each of them respectively to eliminate unnecessary backgrounds, so hopefully they will look nicer.
The first one is a drawing of Goku, as you can see, but really, it was supposed to be the spread image for the Jump Super Stars game... thanks to my sizing problem, I glubbed up, and I only got to draw Goku, the logo, and a totally improvised background. Still okay I guess. The second one is ANOTHER picture of Goku (How did my Drawing teacher let me get away with this? lol), but in Super Saiyan form. I personally think this is my best project since the Sanji drawing, despite a few challenges with sizing beforehand. lol. The third drawing is a color portrait of Robert Downing Jr., one of my favorite actors. Color is good, but I messed up with the lines on his face and now he looks WAY older than he should. 7/10 at most. Next we have a wolf, and even though it looks okay, I feel like I really messed up with this one. I only say that because the reference photo I had to use was of the wolf facing the front at an angle. I accidentally messed up my flow, so to speak, and ended up drawing it facing forward. Shading and detail I think are still good. The next two are my old school drawings. I drew these back when I was a freshman. The first one is of Jack Black and is pretty much the only portrait style celebrity photo I actually did RIGHT. lol You don't want to see my others. The other one is of Michael Jackson, mind you, a statue of Michael Jackson used as an auction item around three years ago after he died. It did it as a tribute to him (noticable with the text on the side), and is also one of my best projects from my freshman period.
Feel free to comment on each one. I know I suck compared to the other artists on the forums, so don't worry about hurting my feelings if you don't like everything you see. lol
