After finishing LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII (I'm currently just doing side quests to unlock stuff) I decided to go back to my FINAL FANTASY games on my smartphone.

I've gotten the first crystal in FINAL FANTASY, and while I'd love to complete it I just don't feel dedicated enough sadly so I decided to start FINAL FANTASY III. I was pleasantly surprised. The 3D remake looks nice, getting Cid's Airship so early is amazing since you don't encounter monsters while on it. AND THERE'S A STORY! I'm left wondering why they didn't record voice acting for it though like they did with the 3D remake for IV. Anyone know why?

My only complaint is that if you die you literally lose all your progress since the last save and you can only save in the world area or whatever it's called.

When/if I complete it I may write a review.

I think it's because that unlike 4, which had a main cast that is more than 4 characters   that  have minute of personallty , 4 characters wasn't the ff 4 WoL, but actally characters.

Also,I prefer IV over III, and the augments over the job system.

the first crystal is the worst part of the game, just saying.

the dungeun that you unlock after beating the 4 is really good.

Well yes...but you can save wherever you want in the other games.

Well I've got the first crystal and I'm still not feeling dedicated enough for it.

"you can only save in the world map"

In IV the longest dungeon have two save points, V also has a close amount. In VI there are barley of those.

VII and VIII did have these, but you are more on dungeons rather then the world map.

IX save point is the use of moogles, and  due to the mognet system, some of them were not needed

In X, there is not world map, but the rate of the saves is pretty much the same.

Also, in some of the ff the some saves aren't needed for game over, and just to save.

There is also quick save feature, but if you use it you'll be back on the menu screen, if you go to load, it will disapear after.

I love X, and had no issues with it.

Oh yeah, I can Quick Save and pretend it's a normal save for if I lose to a boss or something.

To save the game in a dungeon, you can only "quicksave", which is a temporary save file until the next time you return to your game. After quicksave, your game will turn off automatically. When you turn it on, there is an option in the main title screen for you called "continue" where your quicksave file can be loaded. After loading your quicksave file or continuing your game on a different saved file, the quicksave data will be lost.

I think you are confusing wth the Memo file system, or this is a bug or somthing.

I didn't say that I had problems with X, the rate of saves is just the same as the other games, there is just no world map in X.
