This is a huge misconception that too man people misunderstand. The quote doesn't say he will make KH for several decades. He says something like "because of your love for KH, I will continue making games you will enjoy for the next several decades."

 

It could mean KH, but it could go the other way as well. I'm leaning towards it not meaning KH because he would have been more specific and just directly stated it otherwise.

I hope the series goes on for a while I've enjoyed watching the series grow into what it is
