Why didn't FFIV: The Complete Collection include the 3D version?

Anyone know why FINAL FANTASY IV: The Complete Collection (on PlayStation Portable) didn't include the 3D remake of IV instead of a 2D remake?

 

Couldn't they fit it? Or did they prefer consistency?

    3D, 2D, yet still the same game.I wouldn't see much purpose in having them both. And if to have just 3D, as stated already, wold be inconsistent.
