~The Darkest Of Them All~ (Creepypasta RP PG13)

Aurora smirked under her mask as she stared at her terrified victim. She had broken into a open-door house in the middle of the night. Too bad they haven't learned from reading the news that a killer was on the loose. She brought her hatchet to the girl's neck and said, "This is your last breath..." And cut a gash in her throat, as she did to all of her victims, leaving them bleeding to death.

She ran out as soon as she heard police sirens in the distance, her wolf ears twitching. She chuckled and jumped out of the window, running into the forest close by.

"JAMES! I WANT A STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE!"

The demented fairy handcuffed in the back of the police SUV looked mad. "James! MILKSHAKE!" She shouted again, scowling. "LET ME OUT AND GIVE ME MY MILKSHAKE."

She just shouted that over and over, her milkshake fix wearing off.

James Carmichael just sighed and pinch the bridge of his nose as he looked inside his Pursuit SUV and looked at the suspect: A rather beautiful fairy girl, at least she was if her mouth wasn't foaming. "Oh man, County isn't gonna believe this" he mumbled to himself as he opened the driver door and reached in to grab the sweet pink confectionery treat that the girl was demanding. "How the hell am I gonna tell them that a girl was raping someone, then killed them? A Girl..." He rolled down the rear passenger window and handed the girl the strawberry milkshake. "Here. Now will you be a sweety and shut up for a moment? I'm still trying to comprehend what you just did."

He rolled up the window again, then continued filing the report on his clipboard. "Rape, murder, intoxication via root beer, assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and being just so damn sexy... wait... can't put that in the report... uh... public indecency." He glanced back at the girl, and readjusted his police slacks so he could be a little more comfortable. "Ma'am, I'm gonna have to take you back to the station. You're under arrest for... Judging by how you made the CSI team's work a lot more harder, I don't think I have to list it all out."

He slipped into the Pursuit SUV, revved the engines, blared the sirens and lights, and started driving his way out of the dark alleyway into the main road that skirted the city and bordered a nearby forest, legendary for the horror stories that were tied to it.

Aurora's ears twitched at the sound of a police car close by. Aurora quickly ran through the road, jumping and rolling to the other side of the road and ran deeper into the forest and she kept running quick.

[because why not...]

With the vibrations of the twin super-charged and quad turbo-charged v-8 engine coursing throughout his body, Officer Carmichael was reminded of why he loved his job as he sped through intersections and drove pass motorists who pulled over for him. He glanced at the rear-view mirror, checked out the girl, then reminded himself to look back at the road when he realized that barreling down the streets in excess of 100 miles per hour with sirens blaring, blinding red and blue lights flashing and having your attention focused on other uh... assets were not very police-like. Everything was going smoothly until the radio cackled into life.

*kzzt* "Central to Unit Two Seventeen, please respond." He eased off the accelerator a little and reached for the mic.

"Unit Two Seventeen to Central, go ahead."

"Another call came in. Possible murder near your location. Can you respond?"

He glanced back at the girl, then pressed the mic button. "I got a suspect in the back, but I'll be there."

"Be advised, PTU [Police Tactical Unit] is on the scene, suspect may still be in the area."

"Unit Two Seventeen to Central, 10-4. Responding. Over n' out."

As he placed the mic back onto the holder, a shadowy figure darted across the road in front of him, but the headlights couldn't illuminate it. Waving it off as stress, James turned the vehicle around and sped to the scene....

-----

[1:04am, at an undisclosed crime scene]

James pulled up to the location pinged on his laptop in the SUV. The strobing red and blue LED lights of several police vehicles illuminated the scene along with several bright headlights as several SWAT personnel jogged past his car. After handing the fairy cutie in the back another milkshake, he took off the keys and exited the vehicle, only to be greeted with the lead investigator on the scene.

"Carmichael!" the detective waved.

"Wasserland!" he sternly replied back. "So, what happened?"

"Why are you in a beat cop uniform, Supervisor Carmichael?"

"I needed an excuse to drive over 200 miles per hour on the city streets, so yeah. Managed to arrest this chick as well and was about to head back to station."

"Right... Sure... The Police Station. Are you sure you didn't mean your bedroom?"

"She's convicted of murder, and the dash-cam caught her in the act."

"yeah, uh-huh. Anyways sir. Here's what we got." the two well-built boys walked past the yellow tape and entered the house. Blood was everywhere, and the smell of the newly rotting body of the victim was an all too familiar scent to the people on the scene as the CSI team were hard at work, cameras flashing here and there for evidence and later analysis.

Detective Wasserland nodded over to the body as two CSI units stood nearby with a black body bag. "Died within the last hour. Bled to death by a laceration to the neck."

"Judging by the shape of her mouth" Carmichael added, "It was a painful one. Signs of a struggle are everywhere on the walls, and on her. Victim name?"

"Caitlyn Love, sir.... 16 years old."

"Damn... Weapon used?"

"Unable to identify. All the kitchen knives are untouched. Whatever it is, the cuts match the last several murder cases within the past week."

"Another victim to the chain... Any witnesses?"

"Several, sir. Cross-referenced their stories, the only thing consistent is that this murderer works alone, is heavily clothed, and they all swore they saw a hatchet in their hand."

"Hatchet huh?... Well, at least we know what to test for back at the lab and I know what to look for. Anything else?"

"All reports point that the suspect was last seen fleeing the area towards the direction of the forest."

"Wait, how long ago did they see this?"

"About fifteen minutes ago. Why?"

The flashback of the shadowy figure bolting across the road caught Carmichael's attention. "Bloody hell, they ran away into the forest!"

"Sir?"

"I swear I saw a figure running across the road to it when I responded to this call!"

"Well... it's too late now, sir. All officers are tied up, jacked up, and locking down the city what with all the recent mass killings."

"I know. Which is why I'm going in."

"You can't be serious, sir."

"Those legends of the Forest... C'mon. If I got a fairy girl in the back of my car, then surely-"

"You'll die within the hour when you step foot in there, sir!"

"Which is why I'm gonna need help, and better body armor. Has there been any investigations in the forest?"

"Anyone within the Force who went in there never came back out. It's a dead zone in there for us sir."

"Well then, I think I know where to find this perp, and the evidence to bring 'em in. Looks like I got a lead."

"Want me to prepare your funeral before you head out, Superisor?"

"Yes. Please do. And make DAMN sure my plushie is next to my toestone when you bury me. Oh, and play Ass and Titties when you lower the coffin."

"Send you out with a laugh huh? You never change, man!"

"You know it, broski!" Before the CSI team started their work on the victim, James motioned them to stop as he kneeled near the body and put on a latex glove, then gently closed the lifeless corpse's eyes. "May you forever rest..." he whispered, with everyone around him bowing their heads in respect to the little girl. "In peaceful slumber." After several minutes of reciting her last rites, both detectives made their way out of the scene. "So... what happens now?" Wasserland asked, clearly worried for his colleague. Carmichael looked at him. "One obvious thing left to do. Into the forest. But first, I gotta stop by the police station and drop off the suspect and get the proper gear. If you don't hear back from me within a week... Don't bother sending out a team to find my body. We lost too many of our boys to that forest. Just hold a funeral and assume the worst. Deal?" His partner could only look down at the dark pavement below. "If you say so, sir. If you don't make it back, I just wanted to say that it was an honor working with you." Both detectives smiled. "Same to you, Wasserland. Take care, and keep me updated if anything pops up." He could only smile and nod as James went back to his police SUV, furiously taking notes as he slipped back in to the driver seat.

"The forest." he murmured to himself, completely forgetting how quiet it was inside the car as he clearly heard his own voice. He glanced in the rear-view mirror to see the girl in the back, turned the car back on, and slowly drove away from the scene with a new mission in mind.

Vlad shifted in his pile... Wondering what they would think of this... It did quite reek...

He remembered the old days, where people used to fear him... Now he's a nobody ever since he had to fake his own death...

He heard moaning from the pile. "Shouldn't have messed with me on my bad day..." He slid off of the mini pile, as some arms and teeth slid off the pile with him. 10 people, and no sweat broken... He still had it...

He licked his fingers of the blood, when he saw a cop car in the distance...

The milkshake sucked dry, the girl relaxed. Her eyes were a bit weird, but ultimately she was calmer. As the SUV moved, she leaned forward, having to let her arms move above and behind her head to do so.

"Hey. Where are we going, and why am I still here?" She asked...then started staring at a really cute brunette in a Toyota. "Heeey, can I go meet her?" She asked Carmichael. "Pleasepleaseplease?"

Happily speeding along down the major highway, Officer Carmichael was having a jolly time going faster than 100 miles per hour while blasting "Slow Ride" on the stereo, completely going against regulation of 'no civilian radio station while on station' and what the lyrics were suggesting. "Hey. Where are we going, and why am I still here?" the suspect asked. Carmichael just chuckled a little. "You're going to jail, dear. I'm gonna drop you off at the police station, and then the law will take over."

They hit a red light, and he was forced to stop until the sensors recognized that they just stopped a policaman in a hurry. "Heeey, can I go meet her?" She asked Carmichael, looking at a rather hot brunette in a car next to them. "Pleasepleaseplease?"

"Um... no." It was at that moment that the traffic light changed to green, and he once again sped off to the station. It wasn't long before he arrived, where he pulled up to a regular looking garage door and reached for the radio mic. "Two Seventeen to station, one coming in. Fairy-type." A moment later, the garage door opened, revealing the suspect receiving station underneath the main complex, which everyone who worked there called 'The Keep'. Several Officers were waiting for his vehicle as he pulled up. "Carmichael? Nice work!" one of the officers remarked as they escorted Aether out of the car. "So is it true? You're heading out the forest?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"The rumor was spreading like a wildfire in the station. We just wanted to confirm that."

"Well I am, but not without proper gear. Now if you'll excuse me, I got some tactical armor to put on."

"Best of luck, sir!"

It took a while for the supervisor to park his car and make his way to the police armory, strap on some SWAT armor and some of his favorite weapons, but when he finally done it, he decided to check up on the progress of the suspect's processing. He stopped by the Criminal Processing Room, and peeked inside to get one last good look at the fairy girl.

She was standing there, absolutely naked, with her wings flared. Everyone was unconscious, blood running down their noses. She looked to Carmichael.

"Milkshake."

(Why... Just why?)

(The answer is as short and simple as my post.

I felt like it.)

She was standing there, absolutely naked, with her wings flared. Everyone was unconscious, blood running down their noses. She looked to Carmichael.

"Milkshake."

Carmichael was speechless at the scene, and even more so at the now naked girl. With the armor really screwing with his uh, 'natural responses' and making him really uncomfortable in a certain region in the armor, it took a while for the poor guy to finally get comfortable again. He reached for the comm button in the room. "Infirmary team, please report to Criminal Processing station immediately. Multiple cases of unconsciousness via severe nosebleeds. females nurses preferred... please." He took a deep breath, and faced the stunning looking girl. Literally. "Do me a favor and put your clothes back on, will you. It's painfully obvious to me that you're gonna be a threat to every single guy in the station and prison guard if you're processed. Tell you what, I need a partner to come with me into the legendary forest outside the forest. Since you're not a cop, I figure that you'll survive better then the rest of the boys in blue here. What do you say? Can I trust you? I'll give you strawberry milkshakes if you do..."

Wolf walked into a small cabin in the forest which had blood stains everywhere. Wolf walked by a mirror, but stopped, looking at her reflection. Her ears twitched and her tail twitched behind her. She glared at the mirror, her eyes flashing red under her sunglasses, and she broke the it in a blink of an eye with her fist. She then turned and walked over to the couch in the middle of the room, laying down and setting her hatchets on her stomach.

She looked at him, then pulled her dress back on. Walking over, she stood there.

"Milkshake."

She looked up, staring.

"Milkshake."

She looked up, staring.

Half wanting to exploit the girl by using her addiction of milkshake as a leverage and half wanting to remove the threat of her using her body against everyone, Carmichael smiled at the girl. "Yes, if you'll come with me, I'll get you some milkshakes." He motioned the girl to follow her, and as they passed by the main office of the building, one of his colleagues noticed something on the supervisor. "Hey Carmichael! Your nose is bleeding!"

Without a second thought, he reached for a nearby tissue box and quickly wiped away the tell-tale sign. "Can't blame me" he mumbled to himself as they finally exited the station, "You try not falling unconscious seeing this girl naked. Talk about a wet dream come true." He turned around and faced Aether. "I still don't trust you, so you're gonna have to ride in the back, ok? We're gonna go off and get you your milkshakes now." She happily obliged, and as promised the armored supervisor stopped at a local gas station. After fueling up, depleting their inventory of strawberry milkshakes and checking out the most recent playboy magazine, he along with Aether sped onto the main road, then off of it as Carmichael turned the wheel and started driving into the forest, this time with lights and sirens off as he steeled himself for whatever secrets the legendary place may be hiding.

Vlad walked around the forest, finally disposing of the last accused body. As he was walking, he heard a car stop nearby. "Might be fun..." He said. He had new clothes on , and not a speck if dirt was on him, so no worries there...

Supervisor Carmichael stopped his police SUV at the edge of the forest. The small spotlight near the driver side mirror flashed on and started sweeping the place, looking for any trail that he could use to go deeper into the forest. If he was gonna go into a place famous for the horror stories associated with it, he might as well bring his portable bunker on wheels. Thankfully, the floodlight spotted a dirt trail off to the right of the vehicle, and Carmichael jumped on the opportunity as he slowly drove the vehicle onto the roughly beaten path. He didn't have to worry about the suspension breaking: The SUVs were top notch equipment. With the doors locked and his eyes on a swivel, the lone officer and the nosebleed-inducing fairy girl sitting behind him started making their way deeper into the forest...

Vlad was right next to him in no time. He tapped this rent-a-cops car on the side windshield."Hello Mister Cop..." He was going to have some fun... Play the hero..."What are you looking at?"

Looking at the newcomer, her fairy wings tensed.

"Go away." She growled. It seemed as if her hand was readying something. Or nothing.

She WAS crazy after all.

Supervisor Carmichael, now clad in SWAT armor and driving his SUV into a forest known for the legends of horrendous deaths that even the most twisted minds couldn't have thought of, eventually drove his way into a clearing deep within the forest. Some time had passed, and as the beams of the headlights flooded the clearing in front of him, the supervisor breathed a little sigh of relief.

The bright beams of the headlights revealed a rustic, obviously old log cabin that sat ominously on top of a shallow hill. The green grass that was lit in front of his car faded to black as it got near the edge of the beam's cone of light. Assuming that someone was inside the shelter, he shut off the lights, and carefully surveyed the surrounding area. It was pitch black, save for the twinkling of the midnight dew thanks to the gentle glow of the moon above. It was serene, and yet slightly nerve-wracking to the hardened crimestopper as he focused his attention to the cabin. At least, he was until someone knocked on driver side window.

"Hello Mister Cop... What are you looking at?" a shadowy stranger asked on the other side.

Rectifying the mysteriousness veil, he quickly grabbed his mag-lite flashlight and flashed the blinding white light on the person through the glass, revealing their features. He noticed that it was a man thankfully, with black hair, cool blue eyes, and pale skin just like himself as he continued shining the light on the man.

"Go away." Aether growled beside him.

Carmichael however, was rather unfazed and unamused. "Can I help you?"

Edited by Javelin434

"Of course not..." Vlad said, smiling at the man. "I've seen my share of troubles..." He looked at the girl in the back. "But I can help the both of you..." He walked over to the cops side of the car. "Surely, you can smell it? The hint of... Decay in this Forrest?" He walked in the direction of the body pit, pretending exceedingly well as if it was his first discovery...

He walked over to the cops side of the car. "Surely, you can smell it? The hint of... Decay in this Forrest?" He walked in the direction of the body pit, pretending exceedingly well as if it was his first discovery...

Remembering the legends, Carmichael was hesitant to believe the man as he walked over to a depression in the distance. Not wanting to take any chances, he slowly drove his SUV over to where he was standing, then pointed the floodlight at him only to see a pit filled with mutilated corpses.

"Surely, you can smell it? The hint of... Decay in this Forrest?"

"Son of a bitch..." the supervisor mumbled under his breath, before reaching for the radio mic. He glanced at the instrumentation, and quickly realized that he was no longer tied to the network, nor was the GPS getting a lock on his location. He suddenly felt alone as his heart sank a bit, then quickly composed himself as he switched the instrument to loudspeaker mode. "Step away from the pit and stay in the light with your hands up."

"Excuse me?" Vlad walked towards the officer with no fear. "My lord, if you think I would build such a thing..." Vlad made sure nothing would connect him to the pile. He wore gloves, and all other precautions.

[i'm just gonna exploit the vagueness here...]

Carmichael smirked a little as the suspicious man approached his vehicular sanctuary again. Feeling pretty safe from the ominous atmosphere outside, he turned on the interior light and reached for his notepad. He looked around the car and started taking notes, mainly the location of this newly discovered body pile in relation to the cabin on top of the nearby shallow hill. Once he was finished, against his better judgement he decided to step outside into the dangerous forest.

"I need to get a closer look." he informed Aether. Quickly closing the door behind him, he carefully made his way to the body pile and started taking notes. Some of the corpses were seriously decayed, and some looked just as fresh as the girl who was killed literally hours before as he continued to jot down critical information. The stench of the decaying corpses was overwhelming, and it didn't take long before he finished up and leaned against his SUV.

"My lord, if you think I would build such a thing..."

Carmichael glanced at the man, then continued finalizing his notes as the man's remark echoed in his head. "Basically, yes, I would think you would 'build' such a thing. You're not screaming and panicking at the corpses, in fact you willfully led me to this. You already confirmed the smell of decay from the bodies and don't think any differently about it, in fact you seem to relish in that. You're the only one around here, oh and I got one more thing that can make me safely say that you did this." He opened the driver door, tossed the notepad inside, then looked back at the man while slowly reaching for his retractable baton and pointing at him.

"Your hands. Who the hell wears latex gloves in the middle of the night, alone, in a forest, loiters near a body pit, and not be associated with stuff... like this? Besides... the murderer always returns to the scene of the crime, and it looks like I got lucky. If you're gonna try taking precautions, then at least remember to dispose some of the obvious attempts before trying to play innocent..." His heart started racing as he focused on the now newly declared suspect, anticipating an all too familiar reaction. "You're under arrest for reasonable suspicion of the recent murder spree that's been happening in the city."

"Oh, I'm not THE problem..." He said, in a seemingly deadpan voice. "I'm not even a part... Like your little girl over there, were just 'people' in at the wrong place at the wrong time..." He Leaned on the car. "I can help you, you know... After all..." He broke the cuffs with sheer strength. "I don't feel like going to jail..."

Aether was out of the car, her clothes slightly ruffling in the breeze. In her hands, from some alternate dimension (or a really really deep pocket) was a rapier and a scythe, the craziest combination of weapons one could possibly find.

Then again, probably she just retrieved them from the hiding place in the back of the SUV.

"Try anything, and you'll become my next victim." She said hollowly.
