First off I've got to say I've been waiting for this for months and i am not one bit disappointed by what i've seen the new series looks like it is going to be unreal and the animation style looks incredible so looking forward to this the 4th of April cant come soon enough

Man, now I really need to catch up.

I need to watch this one from the beginning.

I only watched like 20 or 30 episodes before stopping, I don't remember why, but I'm going to watch it again once I have some free time.

I have to say, the show has good plot.

 

Love the new art style. I think the characters and the scenery have more depth put into it. I need to catch up on the anime, but also need to catch up in the manga.

I just got into it over the last week of my winter break and absolutely loved it. This looks awesome makes me want to re-watch the series again. Can't wait : D

So does this anime start from the beginning of the series(Like FMA brotherhood), or is it a sequel series to the first(like in Inuyasha's case)? I was thinking about getting into it, since i heard it was good enough to compete with the Big 3 for a time. :

Unfortunately, from looks of the trailers, It's gonna start off where we were left off in the Fairy Tail anime. I kinda want to see a big reboot, but it should suffice.

manga is better imo. oddly enough, it was aired on the children's block in Japan, so it doesn't have too much cussing, blood and violence. Oddly enough, it does portray some sexual themes.

The series took a one year break since the the Anime had nearly caught up to the Manga and it just happened to stop on a very climatic moment in terms of the anime it ended on episode 175 with a big cartoon TO BE CONTINUED sign at the end and the new series will most likely be taking off at exactly from where the old version of the anime ended 

 

In total Fairy Tail has 175 episodes with one filler arc and maybe 4 or 5 one episode fillers but there rather funny to watch there is also six OVA episodes to the series one of which is a cross over episode between Fairy tail and its author's Hiro Mashima original series Rave Master there is also one movie to the series Fairy Tail Priestess of the Phoenix

 

as for Manga in total the series has a total 375 chapters at the moment

 

All in all it is a very enjoyable series with allot of humor and action to it i'd most certainly recommend to anyone as a must watch
