(This was the best title I could come up with)

So, for a very long time I have been confused about the door that appears at the end of the game, known as Kingdom Hearts. But to what I've heard, that door wasn't the actual Kingdom Hearts.

What I wanna ask is, is that door simply a gateway to the specific location in the realm of darkness where Kingdom Hearts resides? Or is it something else? Please someone tell me!

Its similar to the heart shaped moon in KH II, a man-made (Heartless made, whatever) gateway to KH, only in this case it was made from the Hearts of Worlds, not the Hearts of Men, making it closer to the actual Kingdom Hearts.

I think.

As Xehanort and Yen Sid said, the true Kingdom Hearts is swallowed in darkness, never seen since the age of Fairy Tales.  Every Kingdom Hearts we've seen in the games is artificial, and well, the door in Kingdom Hearts 1 is a portal to the Realm of Darkness if I'm not mistaken.  But yeah, that'll all change in Kingdom Hearts 3.  We have to see the real Kingdom Hearts sooner or later! D:

It is a kind of a "way" to Kingdom Hearts .
