Radiant Garden

Keyblade Academy

Indy made his way through the academy halls, glancing around at the rooms he passed by. I was told to meet with a teacher in the Gummi hangar... They said that there would be other students, too. What's so urgent that they'd call a few of us there? Is there something going on in other worlds...? Maybe they even have a mission for us... I've always wanted the opportunity to leave Radiant Garden, anyway... He thought to himself as he moved along, pondering what it is that he was ordered to meet there for.

He eventually reached the room, noticing that it was empty. "Hm... Well, I did try to get here early, anyway." He muttered, leaning against a wall. He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

(And yes, the other students all received the orders, too.)

Indy noticed Lucas walk over. Still in a joking mood to avoid getting upset about his sister again, he continued to half joke. "Oh, you know. The fact that we'll be heroes after all this... And girls." He shot Raidyn another look, trying not to laugh at his friend. "That guy's the one talking more about girls, though."

Lucas laughed. "Oh ok then. So what girls are you guys talking about?"

Lucas laughed. "Oh ok then. So what girls are you guys talking about?"

Indy shrugged. "Oh, you know, all types of girls." He noticed Rei sneak up on Ghost, too. "Looks like he's already got one to talk about." He held back laughter at the girl's sudden request for Ghost to make her pancakes.

Toshi

While Raidyn and the others were in discussion, Toshi could not help but overhear Indy and Lucas talk about girls. It made her think back to the comments that Raidyn made with Indy earlier. He must really think that Raidyn is interested in that sort of thing... even though... he's really not. Toshi thought, frowning a little. Raidyn was a lot of things: energetic, bombastic, optimistic... especially optimistic... but interested in girls didn't really fit the mold. And given Toshi had the biggest crush on Raidyn, it didn't really suit well with herself all that much. She wondered if she could his attention somehow.

Indy shrugged. "Oh, you know, all types of girls." He noticed Rei sneak up on Ghost, too. "Looks like he's already got one to talk about." He held back laughter at the girl's sudden request for Ghost to make her pancakes.

Brooklyn's head slightly tilted in confusion. "Why are you laughing at them...?"

(Never said he was laughing... :)

The cloaked girl continued to glare at Striker. "What will happen if I don't answer your questions?" She knew it wouldn't end well for her if she kept silent, but she couldn't share the secrets of the organization with Academy scum like this guy. "I don't intend on giving up any information."

"You've got a point..." Indy shrugged in response to Ghost, oblivious to what was about to go on inside the room right next to them. "I've heard the stories about them, and they're pretty impressive. Still, they haven't done anything to screw up for us students, right? There's nothing to worry about, Brooklyn."

Rei suddenly was pressed into Ghost's back.

"I want pancakes. Can you make me pancakes, with plenty of maple syrup?" She asked.

[Gummi Ship Overwatch: Cockpit section...]

[since I can't contact the RP host by PM or by posting on his profile because he decided to block me, I have no choice but to type this out...]

The weaponized heartless tilted his head a little to the right as a demented grin formed on his face. He rested the very tip of the keyblade on the girl's shoulder with the cold, sharp cutting edge carefully pressed up against her neck. "If you refuse to talk and make this easy, then I have no choice but to do this my way." He leaned in closer to the girl; his only visible left eye was slowly starting to change color from a ghastly grey to a dull orange. He opened his mouth to speak, but the voice that came out was significantly deeper in inflection, his tone intimidating and signifying the impending world of pain that was soon to follow. "Keep your mouth shut if you want. It only gives me an excuse for me to do this." Staying true to his moniker, the instructor struck the girl in a lightning quick left hook. As the girl was still reeling from the attack, he quickly pinned the girl's head against the metal headrest, forcing it to stay twisted in that painful position. "It brings me no greater joy than to make and see people like you suffer." Once again, he leaned in. "Now, we're gonna try this one more time. Who are you, and who are your friends?"

Meanwhile... On the other side of the door.

Ghost felt a rather pleasing chill run down his back as he felt Rei pressing up against him once again. Her sweet voice was heavenly music to him, at least it was until she asked for pancakes. The Sentinel-in-training sighed as a smile formed on his face. "Well, you gave me that nickname for a reason, dear. How tall do you want the stack to be?" He started walking towards the kitchen, reaching for a cabinet above the countertops and opened the doors. Suddenly, the student quickly found himself buried under a pile of plastic containers and assorted lids that was pouring out, and just as the last of the containers fell onto his head, a yellow sticky note with the word "Gotcha!" crudely scribbled on it with a black marker was attached at the bottom. "Ok... He's good." Ghost barely mumbled through the pile, "You win this round, sir..." He crawled out, quickly organized the pile, then promptly got back to making the food that his girlfriend asked as he grabbed the necessary ingredients and pre-heated a skillet, all while humming about Making Pancakes and Making Bacon Pancakes.

Raidyn

Still sitting with his friends, Raidyn couldn't help but yawn into this hand. "Alright, I think I've had enough laying around. I'm gonna go see if I can find something to do. See ya!" Raidyn said, hopping off the couch and going into the room he saw Ghost go into earlier.

"Hey Ghosty!" He called, as Ghost was making pancakes for Rei at that moment. "Oh, and hey Rei. Hope you feel better," He said, giving a quick thumbs up to the bunny eared girl before going back to Ghost. "Anyways, you and Mr. Striker know this ship pretty well right? Can you tell me if there's, like, a training room or something I can go into? I gotta make sure my skills are always up to snuff. You get me, right?" Raidyn said, grinning as he gently elbowed Ghost in his shoulder.

"You best work up a good apatite then, I'm going to cook a hardy lunch for the rest of us, since ol Ghostoast is making Rei pancakes." Brooklyn called, entering the kitchen. "Tell me, what would you like to have?"

Raidyn

"Hey Ghosty!" He called, as Ghost was making pancakes for Rei at that moment. "Oh, and hey Rei. Hope you feel better," He said, giving a quick thumbs up to the bunny eared girl before going back to Ghost. "Anyways, you and Mr. Striker know this ship pretty well right? Raidyn said, grinning as he gently elbowed Ghost in his shoulder.

Ghost was shuffling around the kitchen area, the entire living room still in full view over the countertop that bordered between the two rooms as he was lost in creating a ridiculously tall stack of perfectly golden, round pancakes with a small hole at the center. Just as the stack reached the same length as his forearm, Raidyn decided to pop in and ask about honing in his skills as a combatant. The student was appalled at the question as he slowly turned to him, then slowly replied, "Um... no? This place is a home, not a mini-academy..." He paused for a moment, thinking on how to best satisfy the demand. "You could drag some of the students outside the ship and practice there until Striker finishes up the interrogation."

After flooding the stack of pancakes with maple syrup and making darn sure it wouldn't overflow off the deep dish, Ghost carefully set the plate down on the nearby dining table in the main living room and call his girlfirned over. "Hey Rei! Your pancakes are ready! And I mean the food, not me!"

As he watched Rei, the sound of a set of doors quietly opening behind him caught his attention. He slowly turned around and saw his instructor standing at the front of the door. It was obvious what he had done to their prisoner; Despite the red detailing on his black and red armor, it wasn't enough to hide the stains that were on his left and right hands. Striker was visibly disappointed, and Ghost feared the worst for him. The interrogation didn't work, did it? he thought to himself, slowly walking up to the instructor. "Sir? Did you-"

"Land of Dragons." The instructor firmly announced to his student and everyone else aboard his ship. "We can find our next lead and the other accomplices at the Land of Dragons." He sighed heavily, and then continued. "But it looks like everyone here is on break. Once you're all finished up, we should head out."

Curious, Ghost stood in front of him and quietly asked, "Sir? What's wrong?"

"The prisoner," Striker quietly growled back, "is one of our own."

"What?!"

"Go ahead, look inside. Don't worry, it's not much of a mess in there. She's completely healed up, so good luck finding any signs of what I did."

Ghost swallowed hard, then peeked through the door at the prisoner. Upon seeing who it was, the student was speechless as he returned to his position in front of the instructor. "B-but... How? Why? This... H-how could this-" Striker quickly gripped his student's shoulder. "Get a hold of yourself. You have your next objective. Focus on that instead." Ghost quietly nodded, then returned back to the posse of students. "Well... At least we know where to go next."

"Land of Dragons? I'll set the Highwind to take us there when you're ready." Indy said. Shortly afterwards, he overheard Striker and Ghosts' conversation. "One of our own...?" His eyes widened, and he ran to the door. He threw it open, expecting the worst... And was greeted with the sight of his own sister, visibly unharmed, but also drained of energy. "Wh-what... Happened...?" He tried to approach her, but was met with a glare.

"Get away from me!" Allitt shouted back at him. "You... You're one of the ones who can control darkness. It's people like you who are going to bring the worlds to ruin!" She turned her face away from her brother, seemingly hiding.

Indy went silent. After years of training, all for this moment, he learned that his own sister hated him. He didn't know what to say. "S-sis..." He muttered, unable to form words.

"I said, get out!" She continued to shout, refusing to look at her distraught brother. Indy slowly left the room, and made his way towards the ship's exit.

"... Everyone to the Highwind. Now. We're going." He told Brooklyn, Raidyn, and Toshi, and then left the ship.

"Alright then, I assume a pizza would be fine then?" Brooklyn yelled back, already rummaging through the cupboards for ingredients. "Also, sorry misure Striker, but I ran out of food on my ship, forgot to go pick up grocery's for myself, so if you don't mind, I'm using your stuff. I've got plenty of Munny, so don't worry about replacing anything- Ooh, is that Rosemarry? Yes, yes it is! I didn't know that this ship was so well-stocked on exotic spices!" Brooklyn grinned ear-to-ear looking at the different ingredients, when...

"Land of Dragons? I'll set the Highwind to take us there when you're ready." Indy said. Shortly afterwards, he overheard Striker and Ghosts' conversation. "One of our own...?" "... Everyone to the Highwind. Now. We're going." He told Brooklyn, Raidyn, and Toshi, and then left the ship.

"You're going, I'm making some lunch and leaving in my own ship, staying for the meal is optional."  Brooklyn yelled to Indy, beginning to cook the pizza sauce and make the dough. "I've estimated around 5700 Munny is the cost of the ingredients I'm using. I'll leave it on the counter and I'll clean my own mess up after I'm done." He nonchalantly yelled to Striker. By now, his dough was being tossed into the large shape of a circle.

Rei dug in heartily, devouring everything on the plate. Of course, when Striker and Ghost exchanged glances and looked at the cockpit, Rei felt something was wrong. And since even Indy looked somber, that meant someone needed cheering up!

Up in a flash, she bounded through the door to look at Alitt, smiling brightly as her bunny ears angled to hear better.

"HI! I'm Rei!" She said with happiness and energy. "Everyone looks sad. Is it because you're sad? Are you hurt?" She looked concerned...and was oblivious, really. Came with being a de Wynter.

Allitt looked angry. "You..." Her angered look quickly changed to a puzzled one when she realized that Rei had no clue what the heck was going on. "You.. Don't really know who I am... Do you?" She asked. Is this girl really a student...? No way, she doesn't act like one... She's way too innocent to be one of the Academy goons.

Focused on calming Ghost, Instructor Striker was actually caught off guard as Indy decided to check just who their prisoner was. He tried blocking the student with his arm, but it was too late as Indy peeked inside. Well... So much for keeping it quiet. Now the unit cohesion is gonna be really strained... He stayed quiet, giving the two siblings their time together. Not too soon afterward, Rei burst through both Ghost and the instructor, much to their dismay. Brushing off his armor, Striker once again entered the cockpit and addressed Allitt. "You're being placed under arrest for treason and crimes against the balance of light and dark." He looked over at Ghost. "Go aboard the Highwind. I need to take her back to the academy for processing by the masters."

Ghost quickly nodded, then faced his girlfriend. "C'mon Rei, we're riding on the Highwind now. And... Did you finish the stack of pancakes already?" Wanting to see the results for himself, he walked back into the living room and saw an empty plate where a stack of pancakes used to be, Brooklyn throwing dough into the air, some munny on the countertop, and Indy walking out of the ship. Not really trusting hotshot Brooklyn, he made his way towards the kitchen area as he was yelling at Raidyn and trying to address his instructor across the room. Well... at least he's considerate. That's a pleasant change for once... He grabbed the munny off the countertop. "I'll give it to Striker. As soon as you're finished, everyone has to leave this ship."

Raidyn

"Come on Ghosty, you're telling me that Mr. Striker has this big ship and he can't fit in a training room? That's kinda lame. Doesn't he have to train on the go sometimes? I know I would," Raidyn whined, putting his hands behind his head as he talked. (Also, I don't see why he's appalled, it was just a question. Don't be a dick Ghost. xD)

Then in came the man himself. Striker announced that their next destination was the Land Of Dragons.

"Land Of Dragons?! Oh wow, that's so cool!" Raidyn exclaimed. "I've read so much about how Old Man Sora fought with Mulan and Mushu and all that stuff!"

Then to the positive boy's dismay, things started to get dark: Ghost and Indy decided to check the interrogation room, leaving Ghost horrified at what he saw and Indy having a rather shaky reunion with his sister; the tied up person was revealed to be Allit, Indy's sister and Raidyn's former rival. As Indy left the room and informed everybody they were leading, he saw Toshi going after Indy, most likely to cheer him up.

Raidyn then made his way into the room for the first time, brushing past both Rei and Ghost. "Mr. Striker, sorry if I'm not supposed to be here in anything but... " Raidyn looked over at the bound girl. "Allit... it's me. Raidyn. Remember?"

Toshi

"Indy, wait!" Toshi cried, finally catching up and walking in step with her classmate. "What's going on? A-are you alright?"

Great, more Academy scum... Just what I wanted. After Raidyn reintroduced himself, she managed to remember him. "Yes... I remember you, Raidyn." She didn't say much else. All of these encounters had her exhausted.

Indy turned back to face Toshi. He tried to think of how to explain it to her... "That girl in there is my sister..." He muttered, not stopping on his way to the Highwind.

Allitt shifted her gaze towards Striker. "Fine, I don't care. Do what you want with me." There was still resentment in her eyes, but she seemed to have lost the will to keep fighting. "The others will stop you, anyway..."

Raidyn

"You do?" Raidyn said, actually a little elated to hear that come out of his former rival's mouth. "Well... why did you leave the Academy? And what are you doing, running around with this crazy Organization?" He asked.

Toshi

"Your sister... O-Oh..." Toshi said, as the air around her and Indy got even more tense. "You mean Allit? Didn't she leave the Academy long ago?"

Raidyn

Allitt sighed. "Because I hate the Academy. They spot nonsense about the balance between light and dark. There's too much darkness. We can't let it stay... Darkness never leads to anything good. We'll have to deal with another Xehanort, otherwise..."

Indy nodded. "Yeah, Allitt. She left a few years ago... I went on this mission hoping to find her, but I wasn't expecting this... She hates me. She hates all of us." He entered the Highwind, making his way towards the cockpit.

Raidyn

Raidyn was shocked to hear Allit's words. He never heard her spout hatred towards darkness in the Academy. Or maybe she did, and he was too focused on their rivalry to notice.

"That's why you left? That's dumb!" Raidyn blatantly said, actually growing a combination of both sad and angry. "There's always a balance between Light and Darkness! That's why we were in the Academy, remember? We gotta be the ones to keep that balance. And neither light nor darkness are supposed to tip the scale, you know," Raidyn argued.

Toshi

Toshi was left standing outside Indy's Highwind in shock. She couldn't say that Allit was her best friend in the world, but she, along with Raidyn still knew her well in the Academy. She even looked up to Allit a little bit because of her confidence.

"Wait, you said that she hates us?" Toshi then remarked, following Indy into the Highwind. "How can she hate us? I don't understand." Like Raidyn, she never really payed attention to any signs of Allit falling too close to the light.

Rei was about to answer when Raidyn burst in and interrupted her, Ghost unsuccessfully dragged her off, and she burst through the doors again, still bubbly. She caught most of the information, and bounded up again.

"I am a student! My moms are Xion and Zion de Wynter!" She smiled brightly. "Sorry, my boyfrieboyfriend dragged me away." She was oblivious to everything. "So whats up? Why did Pancakles and Blueberry Waffles tie you up?"

Don't be a dick Ghost. xD)

Raidyn then made his way into the room for the first time, brushing past both Rei and Ghost. "Mr. Striker, sorry if I'm not supposed to be here in anything but... " Raidyn looked over at the bound girl. "Allit... it's me. Raidyn. Remember?"

"Not tough, just wondering, what kind of toppings do you like?" Brooklyn asked, the pizza dough now formed into a large circle and the sauce ready, he poured it over said dough and began to preheat the oven and sprinkle cheese over it.

Allitt shifted her gaze towards Striker. "Fine, I don't care. Do what you want with me." There was still resentment in her eyes, but she seemed to have lost the will to keep fighting. "The others will stop you, anyway..."

[He's not being a dick, just shocked that someone would ask for such a room on a gummi ship. To him, it's like going into an orphanage and asking "Do you have a  firing range around here?"]

[And I love how two people whose lives are solely about defending apparently can't seen to guard a door from curious students... xD]

Striker sighed as he left Allitt alone, doing an about face and walking toward the pilot seat. Once again, he started the boot up procedures of the Overwatch. As the ship quietly hummed back into life, the instructor stood quietly as he waited for the conversation between Allitt and the others to be finished...

Meanwhile... In the Kitchen

Ghost quietly took Brooklyn's offer into consideration. "Bacon and chicken would be awesome!" the student happily suggested, unsure how the hotshot would react to the idea. In that moment, he noticed the lights illuminating the place dim ever so slightly for a brief moment, then heard the unmistakable hum of the engines. Uh-oh... Looks like the instructor is getting a little impatient... "I'll leave you to bake your pizza. I gotta go talk to the instructor." He briskly walked back into the cockpit, where he saw Raidyn and Rei talking with Allitt and Striker standing near the helm. He walked up to the awaiting instructor. "Uh... Hotshot is baking a pizza in the back. He used some of your spices and has reimbursed you." Ghost handed him the money, but the instructor politely refused. "Keep it. Use it on your adventures out there for potions, or for taking your girl out on a date. Don't worry about the spices. The Guardian Corps has some really fun and great connections." The instructor winked, bringing a smile to the student's face. "Just make sure everyone is off this ship. I'll return back to you once I deliver her back to Master Riku." Ghost nodded, then quietly waited not only for the conversation to be over between the students and Allitt, but also for Brooklyn to finish his pizza...

"Way to be blunt like a brick wall, Raidyn. I'm sure that'll help your case." Brooklyn plainly said, walking into the cockpit.

"And way to be super aware, Rei." Brooklyn's sarcasm, like usual, dripped from his mouth thicker than molasses, but many times faster. "Pizza's here." Brooklyn handed a slice to Ghost, his with his preferred toppings, Raidyn, and had three left in hand. "Striker, I didn't know if you would like a piece or not, so I brought one just in case." He handed one over to him as well. "And finally, I don't know you too well, but hello." Brooklyn said with a slight, cheery smile which was creepily unlike him. "I'm assuming you like pizza as well?" he asked Allit.

Rei was about to answer when Raidyn burst in and interrupted her, Ghost unsuccessfully dragged her off, and she burst through the doors again, still bubbly. She caught most of the information, and bounded up again.

Raidyn

Raidyn was thrown off by Rei's enthusiasm, given the situation. Also because even a speedster like him couldn't really figure out where Rei gets all her energy from. Nor how she can stay so happy all the time. Then again, she didn't know Allit like he knew her, so maybe that was it.

"Uh, Rei, I don't think Allit is really in the mood to talk anymore," Raidyn said. "We should leave." For once in his life, Raidyn was feeling a bit of disdain for somebody, and of course that person was Allit. It seemed like the combination of her sudden change in personality and her seemingly forgotten interest in anything that had to do with him in the past was getting to him. "You too, Brooklyn. Things are getting really tense," he told his other classmate who had just come in, not really in the mood to eat anymore either.

(Dude, y u so serious about Gummi Ships? Its a vessel used to travel the worlds, its nowhere near an orphanage or anything like that. xD)
