Keyblade Academy

 

Indy made his way through the academy halls, glancing around at the rooms he passed by. I was told to meet with a teacher in the Gummi hangar... They said that there would be other students, too. What's so urgent that they'd call a few of us there? Is there something going on in other worlds...? Maybe they even have a mission for us... I've always wanted the opportunity to leave Radiant Garden, anyway... He thought to himself as he moved along, pondering what it is that he was ordered to meet there for.

 

He eventually reached the room, noticing that it was empty. "Hm... Well, I did try to get here early, anyway." He muttered, leaning against a wall. He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

 

(And yes, the other students all received the orders, too.)

Raidyn

 

"Shoot!" Raidyn maneuvered his body around fast and dodged the blasts, firing back with a ball of Thunder magic. "Agh! This pain... what is it?!" Raidyn cried, clutching his chest once more. "Is it because I drained myself earlier?"

Toshi

 

"Wait! No please don't!" Toshi said, afraid of what Raidyn might do if anybody interfered in the fight. "Oh no..." Toshi reluctantly used the portal that Joel went through and caught up to him. "Joel. I'm sorry, but I can't let you do this." Toshi said, casting a spell that encased Joel in his shadowy form.

 

Raidyn

 

Raidyn caught the brunt of the attack, but quickly turned around and slashed the girl back across her chest, backflipping away and regaining his ground. "Aw man... this is my last Potion," Raidyn said, pulling out the green vial and using it to restore his health, but only by so much. He then noticed that Toshi was on the battlefield and that she was standing next to a shadowy spot on the ground. "Oi, Toshi! What are you doing! I told you and everybody else to stay behind your barrier! This is my fight, not yours!"

(Welp. I thought the cave was still fairly dark and all. My bad.)

Joel's movements were suddenly halted when he hit another Barrier. "What the-?" Dangit, was it that easy to figure out where I was? Gotta work on that then. "Rather than stopping me, I think it would be better if we all focused our energies on her," Joel growled at Toshi and pointed to the Organization member.

Toshi focused most of her energy into her other Barrier, so this one shouldn't be as strong,  Joel deduced. Also, he wasn't sure if Brooklyn would portal him through a second time.

Joel gathered more dark energy around his Keyblade. "Indestructible my foot," Joel muttered. "If you could even split an atom, this wall shouldn't be any different." He pulled his Keyblade as far back as he could and thrust forward. "Magic Eater!"

The tip of his Keyblade managed to pierce through the Barrier. "Not good enough..." He cast Gravity on his own Keyblade, increasing the force of gravity acting upon it. More acceleration means more force! Joel swung his Keyblade down and make a tear in the Barrier large enough to slip through.

Joel got back up. Maybe now I can get some action!

The girl was hit by Raidyn's attack, and grunted. I should probably avoid using any Curaga spells for a while... She thought to herself.

 

"Another one? Guess I'll have to stop going easy." The girl said as Joel broke through his barrier. Her Keyblade became enveloped in Blizzard magic, and she slashed through Raidyn. "Hopefully he's learned his lesson by now..."

Shoot. Joel remembered that it wasn't about screen time at the moment. As he ran toward the fighters he threw a Hi-Potion to Raidyn. Hopefully he'll recover fast enough to get it, he thought.

Joel then broke into a slide tackle and aimed at the girl's feet.

Watching the scene unfold between Raidyn and the cloaked girl, Ghost contemplated the options that were present. "Powered by light, huh?" he quietly echoed back to Toshi, "I wonder if the Instructor's heartless nature can counteract this." His tactpad cackled into life with Striker's voice. "That's an affirmative, actually" Ghost heard him start, "but uh... Yeah... This can't become my problem. You gotta earn your sigil, remember?"

 

The Sentinel-in-training sighed quietly before replying back over the comms, "You're right. Sorry for thinking that." Looking at the other barriers, Ghost spotted Joel actually managing to pierce through one. "He could do that too, I guess." With Joel and Brooklyn now on the other side of the barrier, he concluded that they would be enough help for the thick-headed student with an apparent death wish. With the situation reasonably fix, at least in his eyes, Ghost kneeled besides his girlfriend. "Might as well enjoy the show. Right Rei?"

Gaku sought the opportunity and jumped into the portal and appeared inside the barrier. "Now. . ." Gaku called forth his Skull Noise onto his right hand, and immediately dashed behind the girl and executed a slash that would throw her to the wall. "You better give me my answers on why you have the Player Pin, or it will get noisy." Gaku stated with anger flowing through him.

Raidyn

 

Raidyn cried out as the Blizzard attack sent him back on his spine, dropping his Shockwave in the process. He couldn't even reach for it as he lay there clutching his chest, pain shooting all through out his body. He couldn't even catch the Hi-Potion that Joel threw him.

 

"D... Darn it. Agh," was all Raidyn could say at the moment.

 

Toshi

 

"Raidyn!" Toshi cried out. "Oh, um, sorry Joel for what I did" She quickly apologized to her classmate before running over to Raidyn. She grabbed the Hi-Potion that landed on the ground and brought it over to Raidyn, resting his head in her lap.

 

"Here. You need this." She said, using the potion to restore Raidyn's strength. And while the pain in his chest from the Bilzzard attack healed, the other pain he felt was still there. He lifted himself up a little bit, with Toshi helping him.

 

"Man... agh, my chest still hurts... I guess using up my Flash Dash and not letting my tanks recharge really did a number on me..." Raidyn said, barely focusing on the action going on in front of him.

The girl managed to dodge Joel's attack, but was hit by Gaku's. "Where do you think I got it...? Probably the same place you got yours." She answered the boy, then shot a Triple Firaga at him. There are too many of them here... There's no way I can take on all of them at once. She turned and ran back out of the cave. If I get somewhere where there's more space, I should be able to summon more Nobodies.

 

"Hey, stop!" Indy shouted at the girl. He ran through Brooklyn's portal, quickly followed by his sister. "Toshi, you stay here with Raidyn. We'll go on ahead and stop her." He ordered. "Come on, everyone!" He shouted, as he chased the cloaked girl. His sister closely followed, not saying a word.

Brooklyn looked at Raidyn, glared at him. "Fool." He muttered, sending a Cure on him. "Get your act together. You're not the only important thing here." Brooklyn walked away from the injured Raidyn. "Tell us when you're ready to play with the big kids and not act like a little one." He calmly said before following Indy out.

Gaku dashed outside of the cave and jumped over the girl to land in the direction she was running to. "You are not going anywhere. As far as I'm concerned, our conversation is not finished. Either you stole the Pin, or must have came back to life. I don't care, I'm taking the Pin with me, and you will be tone deaf." Gaku brought his keyblade up with the side pointing towards the girl. 'By performing this technique, the others should not be able to hear this, but only the enemy will be effected.'

 

"Now it will get noisy. Scream"

 

The middle of the keyblade filled with electricity started moving rapidly like the high end frequency sine waves, which projected a loud screeching sound that can still penetrate through noise-cancelling devices.

(Oh hey, the portals finally broken, i can actually do something!)

 

Lucas was about to run after the others, when he saw Brooklyn criticize Raidyn even more and left. He then quickly kneeled over in front of Raidyn. "I know Brooklyn came off as being...Well a jerk, but his heart's in the right place. You shouldn't have done that, but i understand why you did. But just remember man, you don't have to prove anything to us. We know you're strong, and throwing away your life to prove that isn't going to help anyone. Just remember that." He then turned around and dashed off after Indy and the others.

The girl shrieked as Gaku attacked her. I... I can't focus...

 

Indy and Allitt both ran out of the cave. "Gaku, stop!" Allitt shouted. "I have something I need to ask her, too."

Gaku saw the twins outside the cave, and Allitt begins to scream Gaku to stop his technique. Gaku looked passive, but decided to release the technique. "Well, it's your lucky day. You should suffer a temporary hearing loss, but perk your ears up. Your former ally has something to ask you." Gaku walked past the girl as she is laying in the ground trying to recover. "Better make it quick. We taking her prisoner as soon as you finish talking and I knock her to unconsciousness." Gaku glared.

"Right..." Allitt walked up to the girl. "Junsei... Why did you attack me?" She asked, looking hurt.

 

"The enemy captured you... The boss has ordered that you be eliminated on sight. It's too dangerous to have you with them... For all we know, you've told them all of our secrets..." The girl, Junsei, responded. "I was going to try to bring you back, but it looks like you've already teamed up with them..." She was quickly interrupted by a loud roar.

 

"Great, more company." Indy muttered. A large, dragon-like creature flew over the mountains, heading straight towards the student.

 

"Is that... A Heartless?" Allitt asked. "Junsei, did you-" She looked over to where the cloaked girl was, only to see that she was stepping through a white portal. "Stop!"

 

"Looks like she took advantage of the distraction to run off." Indy sighed. "Alright everyone, get ready to fight."

Joel raced out with Indy and Allitt just in time to see Gaku doing some strange attack. Joel couldn't hear Scream, but he could see that it was pretty painful for the girl. Joel couldn't help but wince. Then Gaku ended the attack.

Allitt was saying she was going to ask this girl something... Maybe now we can shed a bit of light on this situation.

 

"Right..." Allitt walked up to the girl. "Junsei... Why did you attack me?" She asked, looking hurt.

 

"The enemy captured you... The boss has ordered that you be eliminated on sight. It's too dangerous to have you with them... For all we know, you've told them all of our secrets..." "Looks like she took advantage of the distraction to run off." Indy sighed. "Alright everyone, get ready to fight."

...Or not. Joel sighed inwardly as a giant Heartless appeared and their target fled.

"Maybe now would be a good time for any real dragons to show up," Joel muttered. He started by casting a Gravity spell on it. He had to put more energy into it to increase its area of effect.

"Isn't there a saying... The bigger they are, the harder they fall?" he said. "I hope that's true." He unleashed his spell.

Joel raced out with Indy and Allitt just in time to see Gaku doing some strange attack. Joel was far away enough that Scream wouldn't damage his ears, but it still hurt them.

When Gaku complied to Allitt's request and stopped his attack, Joel was a bit relieved. Maybe I need to get myself a pair of headphones.

Allitt was saying she was going to ask this girl something... Maybe now we can shed a bit of light on this situation.

Lucas caught up with the others, only to see the Mage slipping away and the dragon coming to attack them. "Uh...This is the friendly dragon that we've all been hearing about from the Emperor and Mulan...Right guys?" He looked over to the others, a sweat mark appearing near the side of his head.

Toshi

 

Brooklyn's Cure didn't help Raidyn at all. He still felt like he had a massive weight on his chest. "I'm going to have to do this if you want to recover." Toshi pulled out her last item, a Mega Ether. Using it on Raidyn, it restored his magic power. And since the Ether was also able to recharge her own power, she used Cure on Raidyn once more. Now both his magic and health were restored, but Raidyn was still struggling to move, so Toshi just let him rest.

 

"Be safe everybody," Toshi said the direction where her classmates ran off.

Focus your attacks on the Heartless!"

The Heartless flew over the students, and roared again. "Yep, definitely not a friendly dragon, Lucas." He corrected Lucas. He shot a quick Fire spell at it, and it began to fly lower to attack the group. "Get out of its way!" Indy shouted, ducking to the side.

 

Allitt, on the other hand, decided to jump on its back. She attempted to slash at its head with her Keyblade, but didn't seem to be doing much damage.

Joel managed to avoid the Heartless's attack. He then noticed Allitt jumping on it and attacking the head. Unfortunately, the Heartless didn't seem like it minded too much.

Hmmm... Allitt may actually have the right idea. Joel climbed up a tree and leaped toward the Heartless when it drew closer. He barely managed to grab on, and he slowly brought himself to the top of its back.

"Guys!" he called to his friends down below. "Get on the dragon's back!" He then proceeded to attack one of the wings with Strike Raids. His train of thought led him to think that if they could limit the Heartless's movements, the battle would become easier.

Joel managed to avoid the Heartless's attack. He then noticed Allitt jumping on it and attacking the head. Unfortunately, the Heartless didn't seem like it minded too much.Hmmm... Allitt may actually have the right idea. Joel climbed up a tree and leaped toward the Heartless when it drew closer. He barely managed to grab on, and he slowly brought himself to the top of its back."Guys!" he called to his friends down below. "Get on the dragon's back!" "I think you mean the ever-famous saying by Phil that Sora said he repeated insessanyly: get up on the Hydra's back." Brooklyn chuckled from behind of Joel.

"R-really?" Joel stammered. "I had forgotten about that." Dangit, he figured it out... Wait... It was then Joel realized who was behind him. "Gah! How did you- Friggin' portals..." Joel exclaimed and muttered. "Okay, whatever. Now that you're here, help me take out this guy's wings. If he can't fly, he won't be as annoying."
