Lindsey was taking a stroll through the local park, a box of Pocky in her hand, listening to music.

Flynn burst out of the bushes beside Lindsey... a worried look on his face and sweat upon his brow.

Lindsey almost fell back, suprised.

"What the hell..." she muttered to herself

"Sorry about that..." he said, jumping to his feet.

"Gotta go!"

He bolted in the other direction...

A small black creature with two scraggly attenae and yellow, circle, eyes... jumped out from the bushes... following Flynn.

"What... is that?!" Lindsey exclaimed

The shadow saw Lindsey... and stopped to look at her... his crooked frown turned to a cute smile, and he hugged her leg.

Lindsey shook it off.

"Get off of me!" she yelled

The Shadow, small and weak, was thrown a good five feet when she shook her foot.

He curled up in a bal, and sobs could be heard.

Lindsey immediately felt bad.

"Awww, I'm sorry," she said, walking up to the creature

The Shadow looks at her... his frown fade... but not yet a smile, he remained expressionless.

Lindsey, still feeling horrible, hugs the Shadow.

The Shadow, still trembling and sore from the force her kick, hugged back.

"Ick!" It said in a soft, nasally voice

"Icky! Icky! Icky!" He repeated... doing a little dance in which he repeatedly spun around in circles before falling over onto his back, to dizzy to keep going.

"Hey are you okay?" Lindsey exclaimed

"Ick!" Exclaimed Ick in a cheerful voice, meaning, 'yes... I is okay.'

Lindsey sighed in relief.
