ok, could someone tell me what Final Fantasy Versus XIII is about, ive heard about, but i never understood what it was

IDK what it's supposed to be about but I hope that it epicly fails so that we can have KH3 :P :P X3 X3 X3 X3

The speicifics of the plot I don't know but it has to do with Noctis, a prince I think.

It stars Prince Noctis whose sworn duty is to protect last crystal from "hectic order." However there's a girl named Princess Stella who needs the crystal to save her kingdom and the two fight for the crystal.

so why is it called final fantasy xiii versus?

Noctis is the heir to a kingdom which holds the last remaining crystal in the world. As such, he has to defend said crystal from other organizations seeking to take it and abuse it's power.

The only thing we know about Stella is that she is an extremely wealthy person from Tenebrae. Dunno where the whole princess saving her kingdom deal came from.

Stekka and Noctis are lord and lady of their own family kingdom. Their job is to protect their family crystal from those who seek to use it for the wrong things. At some point during the story, under strange circumstances, Noctis and Stella will have to fight. The reason why is unknown.
