Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duels of Death RP Page!

Stage one: The Death Cards

The bedding below you is soft and silky, almost feather-like in texture. Drifting half between sleep and being awake, you slowly start becoming more and more conscious of your surroundings and awaken. You are now in a room with silver-lined walls. A small green electric light glowing in the middle of each wall, the room is bare: Only a white table and chair with a flower and a letter are on it, and there is no determinable door or exit, the lights from above meaning that there was a ceiling, so even if one wished to try and exit via climbing out, they could not. The only thing you could do is read the letter, but now you notice, an odd, circular device with a Duel Monster's deck inside it mounted to your non-dominant hand's arm. You can investigate the circular device, or read the letter.

Fiore kept his hood up and walked over to a nearby wall where he sat down against it and kept his eyes on the other duelists. As he did this he went through battle stratagies for his deck. He watched to see if anyone would talk to him and decided he would take part in conversation because having some allies wouldn't hurt. He though to himself.

In the blink of an eye, Kaden gazed around upon being in a new area.  He also sees a bunch of duelists around too.  He crossed his arms and thought:  This must be the competition.  There sure are a lot.  I wish I could duel to them all, without worrying over the whole "death" situation.  Kaden scratches the back of his head and thinks:  I wonder if I should talk with anyone.

Rave found a corner in the room and laid back. He wasn't worried or afraid. There wasn't a duelist he couldn't take down in the past. There's no way he'd lose now. Suddenly, it seemed like the room flashed. Rave closed his eyes for he knew what this meant. It was a flash only he could've seen. His deck was calling out to him. Rave went into a seemingly dream-like state as he listened to what his dragons had to say.

For a minute, but what felt like eternity, an awkward silence they said nothing... "My names Kaito..." He said to the duelist.

"H-hello, Kaito...my name is Haru." He gave a small bow of politeness to Kaito. "So, is everyone here for the whole...death tournament? Or are you here for another reason?"

"...I wouldn't know..." Kaito said, with scared eyes. "I'm...I'm sure if what they said is real..." He looked down "I'm going to die..." He couldn't hold it in anymore, and tears started to form. "I've never played this game..."
