[align=center]?? Folklore ??

One wouldn't believe that they had ended up in a fairy tale.

Once upon a time, you have.

There are those in the Netherworld that want to uprise and take over the land of the dead and the land of the living. Led by those from the Overworld, they have grown stronger and stronger.

There are still Messengers and others that can travel to the Netherworld that want to prevent this overrule and restore the balance.

Will both worlds live happily ever after?, or....

Evany looked at Kana. "You get the bed." He stood up and pulled a mat out from under the bed. "And you get the mat," he told Eal.

(( Sure. >.> ))

(Crap... I messed up the appearance. I'll edit in a sec.)

Shadow was walking around in the Netherworld...

(( I'll wait until everyone's back on to continue the RP, but I'm making one more character. xP ))

Name: Elizabeth, aka Eliza

Age: 17

Side: Good guys.

Appearance: Posted Image

Bio: Eliza was once a student at school that... erm, stood out from the others. One day, she found a lost cat on the road. She met the cat's owner, Evany. When he discovered that she could see spirits as well, that's how she took on the role of a Messenger.

Zuko Raiden wandered around somewhat uselessly; his father had demanded he find himself something productive to do, after a full week of watching Raiden laze around. The only problem was, he really could not be bothered causing a scene- and there wouldn't be much point, because there was barely anyone around anyway.

As Evany noticed that the sun had risen, he sat back in his seat and drifted off to sleep.

Eliza had woken up when the sunlight hit her eyes. She didn't want to wake up, but even covering her head with a pillow wasn't going to help ignore her duties. "Evany'll scowl me if I don't get up now," her muffled voice spoke into the pillow. Within a minute, she got up.

She didn't bother changing out of her pajamas-- She was going to automatically change anyways.

She went outside. It was empty, of course. She anticipated coming back from work to spend some time with the spirits at the pub. Until then...

She went to the cave. After walking through the antechamber, she entered the throne room. Eliza walked up to her cloak, smirking as she said, "Alright, let's do this." Within a few moments, her cloak wrapped around her body until it didn't really look like a cloak anymore.

Smiling proudly, she entered the portal to the Netherworld.

Raiden slumped down against a tree with a groan. He watched as the figure started to come through the portal, but instead of jumping to his feet and, oh, starting a fight or overpowering them like the rest of his family would have expected him to do, he didn't really move at all- he just glared sleepily up at her as she came out, muffling a yawn.

(Blarg, stupid school computers, sending things twice and being slow! D:<)

(( Argh! I know what that's like! Dx ... Did I just express myself with a pirate term? o-o' ))

As she entered the Netherworld, Eliza stretched her arms out. "MMN!" she moaned (I guess) as she stretched. "Alrighty then!" She walked over to a tree in which Evany labelled as a post. She then just stood there, laying against the tree.

After a few minutes, Raiden looked over from picking dirt out fromunder his thumbnail.

"Are you gonna stand there all day?" he asked, somewhat dubiosly.

Eliza slightly jumped. "Um... Ev?" she called. "... Scarecrow, if that's you, stop it! It's not funny!"

"Yeah,'cause this place is just FULL of fun, after all. Why make it any more eventfulby screwing with your friends?" Raiden said sarkily.

Eventually, Eliza had detected where the voice had come from. Looking at him, she asked, "W-who are you? A spirit?" She hasn't met any human in the Netherworld before (minus Evany), so she didn't exactly know what to do in this situation.

He raised his eyebrows, mouth settling into a slight smirk. Raiden was getting the impression that she really didn't have much of a clue about, well, anything there.

"I don't think that's your business, miss," he said, voice sounded tired and sincere even though he was clearly smirking to himself by then, and his eyes held nothing but mockery.

"W-would it be something that I should be cautious about...?" Eliza questioned him. She was slightly startled, but she was ready if anything happened.

"If I were you?" Raiden crawled onto his knees, clambering awkwardly to his feet. "I'd think you'd have to be cautious about everything around here, right?"

(Haha... Obvious attempt at avoiding the question, Raiden, way to go. <.<)

Huh. Good point... Eliza thought. "I guess so," she said as she grinned, letting her guard down.

"Well..." he groaned, stretching his half-asleep legs out to try and wake them up. He then strolled past her at an idle pace, like he was heading away but didn't want to be off too soon. "Have fun staring at the trees all day..."

He kept walking, until he was a few metres behind her- and then he whipped around and launched himself back at her.

"I don't stare at trees--" she murmured until she she realized that he came back to strike. However, she turned around a little too late.

Raiden smacked his arm out at her- a backhanded blow meant to send her stumbling while he fumbled for one of the pair of ornate daggers he had stored in his belt.

Eliza fell on her knees, letting out a small "oof". What?! she thought. This early in the morning? By a human!?

With some struggling (he hadn't removed them in ages) Raiden managed to unsheath one of the daggers. He leant over her, impatiently pushing the shaggy black hair out of his eyes as he moved to strike.

"Nothing personal," he said casually, then tried to strike out at her.

With haste, and luck, Eliza summoned a Killmoulis, which blocked the strike. This gave her time to stand back up. "Phew, Ev'll get angry at me if I almost got myself killed again," she muttered to herself as the Killmoulis vanished.

Irritated due to the miss, Raiden jumped at her without really thinking; swinging his arm in an attempt to slash the dagger out at her.
