Does anyone else find something to calm down about?

Posted

dont worry. this isnt another morality thread. :/ whenever i get extremly exited or really like something, something happens. im assuming this is to calm me down. i sorta just find something bad about what it is a really like or am exited for and just sorta sit on that instead of enjoying and/or hyping what i'm into. an example is happening right now but its nothing special. pokemon omega ruby and alpha sapphire are comming this november (YEEEEES!!!!) but at the same time, i feel that the new engine will take away from the novelty of the original 2d sprites. i know this is BS however becouse i not only like the 3d graphics better but have also wanted a hoenn remake to be specificly made out of the x and y engine. im not stressed about it becouse i know its BS but its still annoying to have the thought in the back of my head. so yeah. whenever i really like something, i find something to make it a bit worse. im assuming that this is becouse im too hyper about it and my subconcios is calming me down with this. so what about you? have you ever ran into anything like this?

When I get stressed, I listen to relaxing music. I'm not sure if this answers the thread, but I had to throw that out there.

I've had those small nickpickings every now in then, but I tend to ignore them. (Why we gonna get bland 3DS cases I dunno but whatever.) When I can't, I try to think of the positives.

You can listen to music or do something else to get your mind off stuff that stresses you.
