The reason why Vanitas will return.

Posted

My theory is simple. Vanitas is technically a human being, and since their is no concept of death in KH, he will return. Let me start with this: Everybody who says "Vanitas is the darkness extracted from Ven's heart" may believe I'm wrong, but I'm not. Vanitas isn't just the darkness extracted from Ven's heart, he has a heart created from the darkness from Ven's heart. Before any of you call B.S., wait a minute and think about the required things needed for the X-Blade. A heart of light and a heart of darkness. I emphasize heart.

X-Blade is born when two hearts of equal strength, one of pure light and one of pure darkness, intersect.

. Everybody who has a heart is considered a human, and Vanitas has a heart. Now where he might be or when he will be revived is a question that can't be answered right now.

Ven does need him, Vanitas is half a heart. Nobody can function with half a heart ._.

That's why Sora was needed, to fill in the empty holes in Ven's heart, but..Ven currently may not even have a heart in the C.O., his heart probably is still with Sora since Roxas fused back with him. But without the other true half of his heart, Ven can't wake up.

exactly.

I my self subscribe to the Vanitas-Riku connection. One thing that nobody has pointed out yet was the opening to bbs. This video was meant to show future events. Following the events of Terra and Aqua falling into darkness Ven's destati tower shatters after a kingdom key and and a soul eater crash onto it. The shattering tower, obviously depicting Ven's ending, showed how an unconscious Ven and the two keyblades ( if you count soul eater as a keyblade ) were the by-products of Ven falling asleep. The two keyblades had a double meaning: One , Riku and Sora become keyblade bearers. But why would this event cause Riku to gain soul eater when he preformed the rite with Terra? This is the connection. The second meaning was if you look at the kingdom key representing Ven and soul eater representing Vanitas then the two of them broke it.

Just because I know this is going to go here this is my twist on the maleficent reason. She mostly awakened his power she didn't just give it to him, and therefore it is possible that it was Vanitas who influenced Riku.

Wow dude....great theory! It all makes sense if you lot at it! I always figured Vanitas and Riku had a connection, but all I had to fall back on was the suit. Great job!

That's a really good theory. I never would've thought of that. xD Vanitas I don't think deserves to be saved, though. I mean, being evil and all. Even if he technically counts as a person. Maybe somehow he'll bring himself back, or someone else evil will.

Thanks!

Vanitas being brought back is definitely inevitable; I just hope it isn't the basic thing that Ansem sod did to Riku in kh1. I would go on with some other ideas of how vanitas would return with Xion and Repliku and kh3d but at this point they are mostly fandom that I would rather wait to post until I get more information.
