The question is in the title but i decided to tell you guys my own story of how i started and how KH has affected my life .

 

 

 

Okay so the story begins of me being 7 years old, its my birthday. My dad had promised me a game and i was PUMPED i had just started to like video games. So i open the package and i see this wierd blue covered game witha big blue heart on it ''Kingdom Hearts''. First im like what is this? Then i notice some old faces Donald and Goofy im like cool its a Disney game. I look at the back cover and i notice other familiar faces from Disney. I watched alot of Disney and read Donald Duck comics so i was really getting excited for this game. But well being a dumb 7 year old understading the game was hard. I remember i didnt really play it much since it was really hard at first, it was always the ''mystery game'' where this kid is falling inside the ocean. And i was STRUGGLING. But after awhile things started rolling i started to understand the story and the game became much more fun. I also really started to like Sora(no homo) and i remember wanting to be just like him and help everyone . KH quickly became my favorite game and i played trough it many times. Then when i grew up i started to notice sequels that had been released to it and i was so happy . Every year my birthday gift was a new KH game unfortunately not the hand console ones ( except 3D). In life friends and important people come and go (not all of em of course ) but KH was always there on my shelf and i could always play it when i felt like it and it is still there to this day so KH has been with me my whole life almost and i think its safe to say, made me the young man i am today. And with the upcoming release of KH3 i see its going to be a big part of my life for a long time....and that is the best! ^^

Back in 2002 when i was 12 years old saw game magazine cover about KH1, so after that its been great times. I hoped KH3 would been final Kingdom hearts game but its not so what can you do.

well it all started when i was a little gaybaby and i saw the kh1 commercial on t.v. Literally as soon as I saw that you got to fight with disney characters i was begging my parents for it. I wrote down the name and that Christmas when I was 7 when I got it.

 

IT TOOK ME LIKE 5 WEEKS TO GET OFF DESTINY ISLANDS BECAUSE BACK THEN I DIDNT USE THE INTERNET THAT STUPID THIRD MUSHROOM OMFG LOL. 

I SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON THAT ISLAND WITH RIKU AND KAIRI I LITERALLY BECAME SORA OKAY.

 

I used to play it with my cousin and we were bffs. We would take turns whenever we'd die and we played the entire first game together. My older sister would watch too (which was amazing for me since we never hung out). I'd ask my dad to help me beat bosses and it took me so long to get to Hollow Bastion. (I NEVER EVEN REALIZED YOU LEVELED UP BACK THEN OR YOU COULD CHANGE WEAPONS OR BUY ITEMS MY OLD FILES HAVE 999999 MUNNY)

 

i was just so enchanted by the whole magic and summoning and fighting with disney characters against the forces of evil it just became a really nice memory of my childhood. I got the others when they came out; COM and KH2. 

 

As I got older I started playing for the plot more than the actual disney characters, but yeah thats how i started it off.  IT was also nice to go back and realize the final fantasy characters that were added into the game when i replayed, because i never played final fantasy games until i was much older.

My best friend kept fangirling about the game and how hot this Riku guy was and that I should get the game because the series was pretty good. When the commercials for Days started to pop up all over the tv I decided to give it a try and bought it the same day it came out. It was dragged into the fandom ever since.
