So in light of today's new teaser for KH3, it seems we have the introduction of two brand new characters in the story who are going off about the Keyblade War, light, darkness, all that jazz.

 

Now I don't much about Kingdom Hearts Chi, nor do I really care, but it's been brought to my attention that story elements in Chi have foreshadowed / are in the same light as the little amount of story details we got from the trailer...

 

So do any of you Chi fans out there want to talk about this? I don't. Not that I don't care... okay I don't, I've never cared about Chi. However, if there's some kind of a connection to be made here, I would love to hear what you have to say.

Chi was probably foreshadowing things with the cat and stuff. not that I know anything about it, but that's what i saw people saying.

That whole thing about the "lost masters" Is probably a reference to the Foretellers.

I know nothing about it, other than nomura hinted at some shit with it, and I saw people on here talking about it.

Like I said before, I don't know much, nor have I played the game enough to reach that part of the storyline in Xchi, but the statement given by Chirii? I think that's the cat's name .. ;P Ya, YX said a few things about the foretellers, which is what the "lost masters" could've been. The "master" YME mentions could be one of the foretellers that is their own master. Thing is he says that master says the story about the keyblade war alot, so maybe Xehanort sort of attaches to this master/foreteller which makes him drive more towards the darkness? I think once we get a bit more info, everything should click into place. The thing is, it's not impossible to state the correct, it's just there could be so many correct theories ;-; But ya, things that are definite from that trailer:- A Young Xehanort is speaking (shown on the left)

- Soon after, a Young Eraqus begins speaking (shown on the right)

- The story specifically Young Xehanort is speaking of is sort of the one Chirii was talking about in the online KH game, Chi

- Young Xehanort and Young Eraqus have a Master that likes to talk about the "keyblade war story" and seems addicted or close to it...

- Young Eraqus seems pretty close to this Master of theirs, just like Terra was with Eraqus himself later on in KHBBS
