Some children are born in this world with powers...called Minimums.

Minimums are rare powers, and only a select few have them.

In order to figure out who these people are, at a young age, boys and girls are sent to a testing site called Falcultas Academy.

If they pass the training course, they are accepted into the school.

Not everyone is accepted. A lot of people get turned down...and some of these people do have abilities, they just don't know how to show them.

Not everyone graduates, but a few manage too.

After they graduate, they are given a diploma and left to do whatever.

 

A place called Cafe Nowhere is offering jobs to people who are Minimum Holders to get a good amount of money.

But why would you accept a job at this place when there are way better jobs out there?

Because people literally hate Minimum Holders because most people are jealous of their powers.

Cafe Nowhere is the only place that seems to offer Minimum Holders jobs.

So will you get a job there and know you are safe with them...or will you go alone and die?

 

This is a roleplay based off of the anime Hamatora. You do not have to watch the anime unless you want to. However, it is not required.

 

Minimum Abilities--

Rules of Minimum Abilities:

1- You can use the ones from the anime!

2- You can also make new abilities!

3- New abilities cannot be over powered.

4- No abilities should be overpowered!!

5- Use your abilities wisely and not foolishly.

6- ONE ABILITY PER CHARACTER.

7- Be creative if you make a new ability.

 

Known abilities from the anime:

Electric Minimum- Allows the holder to control electricity.

Mighty Script- A tablet that has the ability to see 10 min. into the future at one place, and only one place, she chooses to see the future at. It takes about two min. for this process to work. (Contact me if you want this ability!!!)

Sonic Minimum- Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it.

Detecting Minimum- Allows the holder to detect weak spots, illness, pain, and even death. This ability can be helpful in battle.

Small Miracle- Gives the holder an immense amount of strength, however it can be overused and stop for an amount of time.

Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. The power is stronger when the user is mad.

Kahutora Amaza, Detecting Minimum-- Silver Kuroki  

 

Ryoshi Yamiko, Darkness Screening: This user can use darkness to his manipulation, turning the darkness into any image he desires. The Image could do little damage to someone but is meant to scare people away-- Dawn of Riku

 

Dagon Valefar, Nightmare Minimum: The user can read the fears of someone or something, and then can appear as the detected thing/item-- Stitches7769

 

Rika Bishop, Light Medium - works exactly like the Sonic Medium, except she has to have some form of light touching her target. She uses a lighter mainly, but when she needs to travel far Rika has a pocket spotlight in her hip bag. When she listens to music she can focus better, allowing for more accurate movement/attacks. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Sora Takagi, Dominion Minimum: Removing her outermost upper piece of clothing (jacket, shirt, bra, as long as the outermost from her skin is removed) causes wings to sprout. This gives her flight and a sort of feath blade attack, as each feather is razor sharp. If Sora has blacked out, the wings appear completely black. If she hasn't gone through a bad episode, she has pure white wings. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Kyle Satoshi, The Summoner Minimum: allows the user to manipulate the feelings in his heart and manifest it as a creature depending on his feelings at the time, also depending on the feelings Kyle has at that point, it will determine the strength of the Summon (I.E Sadness will Summon a Weak Creature, Anger will Summon a Strong Creature.) -- Scottish Skarmory

 

Halioko Yagama, Sonic Blast Minimum: allows Hali to control and direct sonic vibrations. Must have a sound to work with, like the sound of other people, music or her own voice. Music is best, though she also favors blasts from the sound of a percussion. -- rikunobodyxiii

 

Kimiko Tateyama, Sonic Minimum: Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it. -- Neko-chan

 

Ren Suzugamori, Ride the Vanguard: Ren was able to call real creatures from his Trading Cards,Vanguard,and make it as his companions.These creatures are known as "Vanguard". -- Hazimie 

 

Hajime, Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. -- Neko-chan

 

 

Feel free to start however you want, preferably heading towards Cafe Nowhere.

Hajime was already in Cafe Nowhere, eating pasta and not saying a word. A woman was behind the counter, she worked there with the rest of the few people. Truth to be told, she didn't even look like she worked there.

"Koneko, this is cold." Hajime complained.

"S-Sorry Hajime!!" she said with a bow.

Hajime simply scoffed. She hopped that these Minimum holders like herself would get a job and leave, however, she didn't work.

Kimiko ran through the streets, headphones blaring in her ears as she passed by a great amount of people, running into a few. She was truly a reckless girl. Ahead, she started to slow down. There was no way that she was going to get passed this.

"God dangit." she snapped, clapping her hands together, she used her Sonic Minimum to arrive at Cafe Nowhere, entering quickly.

"Yo! Is this the place that offered Jobs?" she asked.

Koneko looked Kimiko with a sigh.

"Yes..." she muttered.

"However....we have had none today." Koneko said seriously.

Harato walked around, blending in to the non minimum filth. His clothes were clean... For now... He had a target in mind. Today mayor Futo Mochizuki was coming to town to crown a brand new restaurant sponsored by his son... They both were a part of MAX. He didn't care what part, if they were benefactors, leaders, or just came there on Tuesdays.

 

They would all die.

 

He looked around and saw two girls, talking about a job... Pitiful. He read THIER minds. Minimums who were groveling at the foot of man...

"A bowl of flavored dish water, coming up!" Hali called out after the order for soup was put in.

She started several types of meat on to cook at the same time, then moved over to the large pots filled with the day's soups. She tapped the cheapest soup pot rhythmically with a ladle for a few seconds before dipping it in a more hearty soup pot. She dished two healthy scoups of the soup into a bowl, filling it and placed the bowl on the out window.

"Order up!" She called out, then went back to the sizzling meat, ready for more orders.

Kyle stopped for a moment. It felt like something flew past him, he didn't get a glimpse of it, he just felt it. As he turned around, a girl just appeared out of thin air. 

"What the hell... That must have been a minimum.. The Sonic Minimum?.." Kyle wondered. He shrugged it off and walked into a man dressed in a suit with M.A.X stapled on the back. 

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to walk into you..." Kyle said apologetically as he walked off. Kyle pulled out his phone and started searching the internet for M.A.X. The man looked shady and thought he might be a figure of some importance. Turns out M.A.X are an Anti-Minimum group. Kyle stopped and thought. "Could they be the ones responsible for his parent's deaths?" He had too many questions, he didn't want to ask questions about M.A.X for now. He just wanted to get home and rest.

The man in the MAX suit screamed in pain. Collapsing over in front of the boy, as Harato creeped up from behind. "What-what are you doing to me!!!" He exclaimed. Harato walked up slowly. "Divine justice..." Harato said. "Or natural selection," and held him by the neck. "Take your pick."

Ryoshi looked around. "Wow, it seems that some people have come here!" He thought. "Hmmmm...Maybe I could possible work here, after all, alot of people are here and I could get paid some money," Ryoshi. Then and there he had herd the scream made by the guy in the MAX suit. "What was that?" Ryoshi said. He turned around and saw him and the guy that was causing all of the pain. "What are you doing?!" He shouted.

Hm? Was something happening? I sighed, a hand going up to pinch the bridge of my nose. Great. All I wanted was a job -just some way of acquiring money- and now annoyances were popping up. Just what was going on, anyways?

I glanced around for a moment, trying to use my Minimum to detect and try and figure out what was happening. Sadly, with my own confusion, I couldn't exactly figure it out. I groaned at that, wishing someone would give me a clue.

He turned to the users. "Advocation." He let go of the mans neck, dropping him to the floor with a thud. The man was lifeless. "You will understand." He looked around. All of the humans were mind wiped from the murder. They walked casually, robotically. Only the users saw. Only they would understand.

Sora appeared next to Kimiko, and looked to Koneko.

"One boy left a note saying he would come in tomorrow looking for a job. No other info left so he seems like a risky hire. The girl at table three whom I got soup for is looking for a job. She had really no money." Sora curtsied. "I'll get back to work."

She made to leave.

This time,she expected Sora to leave.She knew that later she's have to do an interview if it was possible and that fact made her anxious.So she concentrated on the soup.Yeah it was just flavoured water but she didn't even care.Hunger got to her almost choking her from the fast paste of eating.That was also a reminder that she needed so manners in a place like this.While eating,she felt as a shockwave of wind passed her by.She realized how familiar that was because while she was in school,that commonly happened.Now she remembered that back in her academy there was someone who had a Sonic Minimum.But who?Her eyes examined the cafe when a familiar face caught her.It was Kimiko,another gratuate from the Academy.The readhaired wondered how her life was streaming for her.Probably much,much,much better than Erin's.But the conversation between Kimiko and the other waitress is what broke her heart the most.She lost her appetite at the thought that she traveled thosands of neverending miles for nothing.

Kyle was still tired and slowly growing drowsy, the row of flats he was living in was around the next corner.

"Man.. I'm done.. I guess I'll go back to Cafe Nowhere about that job tomorrow" He thought to himself. He felt a shiver run down his spine, he stopped and looked around. He felt like someone was watching his every move. 

Kyle stayed cautious and continued on walking, looking around. He arrived at the flats. 

"Whoever is there. Come out now." He shouted without turning, head looking down into the ground. He looked up and turned quickly. A shadow rapidly sprang away from his sight before he could see them.

"Hmph. I knew it." He mumbled. He walked up the stairs, headed inside his room and just collapsed on his couch, he was exhausted. He pulled his covers over himself and fell asleep quickly.

Erin left without a trace,leaving the empty soup bowl,trying to memorize the cafe's location.She continued with her day-trying to earn some "salary"by playing her little pocket harmonica,doing various card tricks in big crowds while trying to camoflage from the police.But that cafe never left her thoughts.She wondered what other possibilities can she do if this plan backfire.She felt stupid too for thinking about that before.As the sun set down,a place for passing the night was needed.A flat rooftop would do the job.On her search,she met the sight of a familiar boy from the cafe.Well thought his window actually.He almost caught her walking on the walls again and she didn't even try to spy him.She decided to leave him to sleep as she continued going up.The rooftop was fine,it was cold,obviously but much better that sleep on an open street.She used her backpack as a pillow,placing her head facing the sky.Fear and sadness were still sailing in her mind,making her restless even though her body ached from exhaustion.She thought of her family,the people who weren't there for her anymore.Will tomorrow ever come?Tomorrow both scared her and gave her hope.The insomniac's eyelinds funnily closed,pulling themselves sleep

The door to Cafe Nowhere opened, a mysterious figure walked in with a smile on the girls face.

"Are you guys Minimum Holders?" the little girl asked.

Koneko looked to the girl.

"We offer jobs for them, do you have one for us?" Koneko said seriously.

The little girl nodded.

"I am Momoko, and I need you to find someoone for me." she said with a smile.

Momoko handed Koneko a slip of paper with a name, picture, and adress.

"This is them. Good Luck." she said simply, walking away and out of the store.

 

Koneko slid the paper on the counter, Kimiko looking over it.

"Me and her are the only ones here right now, should we take this job or wait until tomorrow?" Kimiko asked, pointing to Hajime.

"You guys should wait, this could be dangerous. We aren't sure." she said seriously.

Finding herself unable to keep waiting on Ryoshi, she excused herself and attended to a few more tables until she finally slid up to Koneko, Kimiko, and Hajime.

"Hey Koneko? My shift's almost up. Do you need any more help or am is it okay for me to head home now?" The maidgirl asked, brushing some of her grey hair from her eyes. She was tired from the running around, and nearly felt like just flying away instead of driving.

Sora slid Ryoshi's order onto his table."Anything else sir?"

"Thankyou very much!" Ryoshi said with a smile. "And I do have a question. Can I apply for a job here," Ryoshi said nervously. A job was on his mind since today, so he took a chance and asked to apply.

"You can go home, Sora." Koneko said. 

She then looked over to Ryoshi.

"We have a job here that you three could take tonight." Koneko said, holding up the slip of paper Momoko gave Koneko.

"You can go home, Sora." Koneko said. 

She then looked over to Ryoshi.

"We have a job here that you three could take tonight." Koneko said, holding up the slip of paper Momoko gave Koneko.

"That will be fine," Ryoshi said. "I can do night!"

The next thing that the three were doing was standing in front of a house of the given adress.

"She didn't even give us time to introduce outselves before we were dropped off here..." Kimiko muttered.

"I am Hajime." Hajime muttered, holding out some candy in her hand.

Kimiko tried reaching for a piece but Hajime popped them in her mouth. Kimiko wined a bit but shook it off, looking at Ryoshi.

"I am Kimiko, owner of the Sonic Minimum!" she exclaimed.

"I am the owner of the Midnight Minumum." Hajime said seriously.

"Who are you and what is your Minimum?" Kimiko asked.

 

(Sorry to bug you Dawn, but that post was just a bit too short.)

Kahutora sighed and started to look around the Cafe. With all that had happened, it seemed, he wasn't exactly surprised no one had noticed his presence. He supposed that was alright...at least, usually. He wasn't exactly an outgoing or noticeable person, but still couldn't help but feel a little surprised that him standing there hadn't caught anyone's attention.

Might as well at least try to garner some.

 

"Hello?" He asked, "I'm interested in a job..?"
