Some children are born in this world with powers...called Minimums.

Minimums are rare powers, and only a select few have them.

In order to figure out who these people are, at a young age, boys and girls are sent to a testing site called Falcultas Academy.

If they pass the training course, they are accepted into the school.

Not everyone is accepted. A lot of people get turned down...and some of these people do have abilities, they just don't know how to show them.

Not everyone graduates, but a few manage too.

After they graduate, they are given a diploma and left to do whatever.

 

A place called Cafe Nowhere is offering jobs to people who are Minimum Holders to get a good amount of money.

But why would you accept a job at this place when there are way better jobs out there?

Because people literally hate Minimum Holders because most people are jealous of their powers.

Cafe Nowhere is the only place that seems to offer Minimum Holders jobs.

So will you get a job there and know you are safe with them...or will you go alone and die?

 

This is a roleplay based off of the anime Hamatora. You do not have to watch the anime unless you want to. However, it is not required.

 

Minimum Abilities--

Rules of Minimum Abilities:

1- You can use the ones from the anime!

2- You can also make new abilities!

3- New abilities cannot be over powered.

4- No abilities should be overpowered!!

5- Use your abilities wisely and not foolishly.

6- ONE ABILITY PER CHARACTER.

7- Be creative if you make a new ability.

 

Known abilities from the anime:

Electric Minimum- Allows the holder to control electricity.

Mighty Script- A tablet that has the ability to see 10 min. into the future at one place, and only one place, she chooses to see the future at. It takes about two min. for this process to work. (Contact me if you want this ability!!!)

Sonic Minimum- Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it.

Detecting Minimum- Allows the holder to detect weak spots, illness, pain, and even death. This ability can be helpful in battle.

Small Miracle- Gives the holder an immense amount of strength, however it can be overused and stop for an amount of time.

Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. The power is stronger when the user is mad.

Ryoshi Yamiko, Darkness Screening: This user can use darkness to his manipulation, turning the darkness into any image he desires. The Image could do little damage to someone but is meant to scare people away-- Dawn of Riku

 

Dagon Valefar, Nightmare Minimum: The user can read the fears of someone or something, and then can appear as the detected thing/item-- Stitches7769

 

Rika Bishop, Light Medium - works exactly like the Sonic Medium, except she has to have some form of light touching her target. She uses a lighter mainly, but when she needs to travel far Rika has a pocket spotlight in her hip bag. When she listens to music she can focus better, allowing for more accurate movement/attacks. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Sora Takagi, Dominion Minimum: Removing her outermost upper piece of clothing (jacket, shirt, bra, as long as the outermost from her skin is removed) causes wings to sprout. This gives her flight and a sort of feath blade attack, as each feather is razor sharp. If Sora has blacked out, the wings appear completely black. If she hasn't gone through a bad episode, she has pure white wings. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Kyle Satoshi, The Summoner Minimum: allows the user to manipulate the feelings in his heart and manifest it as a creature depending on his feelings at the time, also depending on the feelings Kyle has at that point, it will determine the strength of the Summon (I.E Sadness will Summon a Weak Creature, Anger will Summon a Strong Creature.) -- Scottish Skarmory

 

Halioko Yagama, Sonic Blast Minimum: allows Hali to control and direct sonic vibrations. Must have a sound to work with, like the sound of other people, music or her own voice. Music is best, though she also favors blasts from the sound of a percussion. -- rikunobodyxiii

 

Kimiko Tateyama, Sonic Minimum: Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it. -- Neko-chan

 

Ren Suzugamori, Ride the Vanguard: Ren was able to call real creatures from his Trading Cards,Vanguard,and make it as his companions.These creatures are known as "Vanguard". -- Hazimie 

 

Hajime, Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. -- Neko-chan

The car was stalled near Erin, the turn signal still blinking. The Camaro wasn't damaged at all, just sitting there, open and waiting. A computerized display was there, flashing something.

Kyle rolled over onto his side, facing away from Erin. He took his hoodie off and put it down under his head. "You can stay if you want.." Kyle said sheepishly. Kyle could go to sleep now. The nightmares he was having weren't nightmares at all. His mind was trying to get him to awaken his minimum, he now realized this but still wondered why Death was there.. Did he miss something?

((I can make it like a flashback)))"Allright...Sweet dreams"she answered quietly.She looked at the moon for a while before could go to sleep too.Now she was processing the previous events .Earlier,to get Sora's phone again,she had to get in the car.That's when she discovered the computerized displays,but what where they showing?

"Should I go home," Ryoshi said. He had looked at watch he had and then stood there in shock. "It's not even close to curfew time and I'm already walking home. I guess I misread the time," he said. "Well since it's not time yet, I think I'll go in the cafe." He had began to walk about whistling a tune in his head. When he reached the Cafe, he had seen everyone sitting down, and started to walk up to a seat. He found one and sat down.

The displays had been showing Sora herself, in a cute grey one piece dress, sitting on the lap of an older woman. They were smiling, Sora's still as soft and delicate as she usually was, but she was holding the woman tightly. Like she didn't want to let go.

Behind them was a huge heart, with the words Mother's Day Brunch behind them.

Erin felt a strange melancholy while watching the displays.She recognized the girl,she was the same person that delivered her the soup yestersday.She can now remember that it was her who was uncontuous after the crash but the biggest part of the memories where nowhere to be found.Erin also thought of her own mother which made the sadness dig deeper in her heart.Was the old lady Sora's mother.Why is she holding her so tightly?Where is Sora now?Erin felt as she needed to save the pictures,since the car will be taken away any soon.Snapping them again with the phone's camera wasn't really reliable hence the broken screen.After a search,the Russian girl found the memory card of the picture.The displays were gone so it must be it.Erin did her best and made sure to put the card in a safe condition in her backpack.Maybe this will help in finding the missing girl.Now there wasn't anything to do.Only go to sleep.Tomorrow,taking the interview will be an essentual thing to do

Right nearby Ryoshi was a young boy in his teens entering the cafe. He seemed extremely nervous, almost looking like a fish out of water. This boy was Venice Cryce. He never really was used to being around other people without his parents, and now that he had to apply for a job that just made it worse. His parents had told him that he'd be okay over here with other people like him however because of the bullying he just was unsure if he really was okay here. He fumbled with his fingers, and tried his best to relax himself. But alas, he failed in this attempt.  

(since you missed out on a fight how about I make one? After all my character is part of a gang and he can bring some cannon fodder along.)

Firo and several other members of the gang he joined (there's 7 of them including Firo) were walking down the street next to Nowhere Cafe. "Hey boss you sure about this?" Firo asked one of the others. It was a tall man that looked like hes on steroids. "There's probably no minimum holders in there so it should be fine ... Besides you could preferably take two or three of them." he answered much to his supporters dissatisfaction. "So after this one I've paid up my debt?" Firo asked once more irritating the leader. "Is that all you can think about paying that thing ... Yes you're done now lets get this job done!" the man shouted. Several of the other members brought over knives, chains and baseball bats. Firo himself took a knife and got ready for another shakedown. The leader opened the door while the others flowed him. "Now listen here all we want is your money jewelry. No funny business and no one gets hurt! Understand!?"

Kyle didn't even noticed, but Erin's presence was no longer with him, she must have just left him. After what had happened that night, he didn't know how to feel about Erin leaving. Was he happy that she was gone, no longer able to cause him harm? Or was he sad that she was gone, no longer able to comfort him? Kyle was at a dilemma. "This time. I'm going to go get the job." Out of the blue, Kyle decided to go to the Cafe, he needed that job, he couldn't resist any longer, he was ineligible for the job beforehand anyway but now he had awakened his minimum. He was eligible. He rushed off the rooftop, down stairs to the lobby and out the door. He was running for the Cafe.

"Tell me. Why are you in here?" Kyle stated as he unsheathed his sword and got in a fighting stance. He tried to concentrate to bring out his minimum "Damn. Why isn't it working? No matter, I can take them without it. At least I can summon the extra sword." Kyle thought to himself. He eased up and stuck his right arm out and opened his hand as a sword materialized in it. He clashed his swords together and thrust them out to his side. As they all turned round. "Let's play." Said Kyle through the darkness of his hood with a smirk.

The door to the kitchen in Cafe Nowhere burst open, revealing Hali walking out, holding a large knife.

"Again?" She exclaimed, seeing Firo and his gang. "Surely the word gets around."

She dropped the knife, which landed in the ground point down in the ground and vibrated there. She casually pulled out and extended two collapsible batons, whine she banged together three times. On the third hit, there was an amplified sound and a small shockwave that shock things around her.

"We don't take kindly to impolite guests." Hali said, grinning nastily.

She pointed to Kyle with one of her batons.

"If you're doing what I think you're doing, you get a free meal."

'God damn it not again.' he thought as he activated his minimum and a mist started to surround him. Firo then put his left arm behind his back whilst taking a pose like a professional swordsman. "Id prefer it if we didn't have to go through this. Seriously lets get outta here." Seeing as tho the entire gang was so sure of themselves only one thought went through his head 'How did i get myself into this mess?' One of his "friends" decided to swing his chain at Hali before Firo changed his mind and grabed the chain before it even came close. "Easy lets not start a fight and beat it while we can." he sighed hoping to throw around some common sense.

As soon as Hali saw someone swing a chain at her, she dropped down to a knee, also bringing a baton down on the ground. A directed sonic shockwave rippled forward and knocked the chain wielder off his feet.

"You'd better listen to your friend." She said warned as she stood up. "He's talkin' sense."

"You know me all too well Hali." Kyle said with a grin. He stuck his sword out. Kyle was turning into a new person. He had never acted so courageously before in his life. He felt his minimum making him mentally stronger.

"You." Kyle said, sword pointing to Firo. 

"You seem like a smart guy. Leave while you can."

"Firo would you SHUT UP!!! Go on and get her!" The leader screamed at the top of his lungs. Making Firo sigh before he actually jumped and tried to stab Hali but in a manner that was very easy to doge. 'Ill just act like I'm fighting then when the others get scared when she beets me up the others will run away.' he thought loosing interest in fighting at all. Then he just waited to be a "punching bag".
