Some children are born in this world with powers...called Minimums.

Minimums are rare powers, and only a select few have them.

In order to figure out who these people are, at a young age, boys and girls are sent to a testing site called Falcultas Academy.

If they pass the training course, they are accepted into the school.

Not everyone is accepted. A lot of people get turned down...and some of these people do have abilities, they just don't know how to show them.

Not everyone graduates, but a few manage too.

After they graduate, they are given a diploma and left to do whatever.

 

A place called Cafe Nowhere is offering jobs to people who are Minimum Holders to get a good amount of money.

But why would you accept a job at this place when there are way better jobs out there?

Because people literally hate Minimum Holders because most people are jealous of their powers.

Cafe Nowhere is the only place that seems to offer Minimum Holders jobs.

So will you get a job there and know you are safe with them...or will you go alone and die?

 

This is a roleplay based off of the anime Hamatora. You do not have to watch the anime unless you want to. However, it is not required.

 

Minimum Abilities--

Rules of Minimum Abilities:

1- You can use the ones from the anime!

2- You can also make new abilities!

3- New abilities cannot be over powered.

4- No abilities should be overpowered!!

5- Use your abilities wisely and not foolishly.

6- ONE ABILITY PER CHARACTER.

7- Be creative if you make a new ability.

 

Known abilities from the anime:

Electric Minimum- Allows the holder to control electricity.

Mighty Script- A tablet that has the ability to see 10 min. into the future at one place, and only one place, she chooses to see the future at. It takes about two min. for this process to work. (Contact me if you want this ability!!!)

Sonic Minimum- Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it.

Detecting Minimum- Allows the holder to detect weak spots, illness, pain, and even death. This ability can be helpful in battle.

Small Miracle- Gives the holder an immense amount of strength, however it can be overused and stop for an amount of time.

Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. The power is stronger when the user is mad.

Kahutora Amaza, Detecting Minimum-- Silver Kuroki  

 

Ryoshi Yamiko, Darkness Screening: This user can use darkness to his manipulation, turning the darkness into any image he desires. The Image could do little damage to someone but is meant to scare people away-- Dawn of Riku

 

Dagon Valefar, Nightmare Minimum: The user can read the fears of someone or something, and then can appear as the detected thing/item-- Stitches7769

 

Rika Bishop, Light Medium - works exactly like the Sonic Medium, except she has to have some form of light touching her target. She uses a lighter mainly, but when she needs to travel far Rika has a pocket spotlight in her hip bag. When she listens to music she can focus better, allowing for more accurate movement/attacks. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Sora Takagi, Dominion Minimum: Removing her outermost upper piece of clothing (jacket, shirt, bra, as long as the outermost from her skin is removed) causes wings to sprout. This gives her flight and a sort of feath blade attack, as each feather is razor sharp. If Sora has blacked out, the wings appear completely black. If she hasn't gone through a bad episode, she has pure white wings. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Kyle Satoshi, The Summoner Minimum: allows the user to manipulate the feelings in his heart and manifest it as a creature depending on his feelings at the time, also depending on the feelings Kyle has at that point, it will determine the strength of the Summon (I.E Sadness will Summon a Weak Creature, Anger will Summon a Strong Creature.) -- Scottish Skarmory

 

Halioko Yagama, Sonic Blast Minimum: allows Hali to control and direct sonic vibrations. Must have a sound to work with, like the sound of other people, music or her own voice. Music is best, though she also favors blasts from the sound of a percussion. -- rikunobodyxiii

 

Kimiko Tateyama, Sonic Minimum: Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it. -- Neko-chan

 

Ren Suzugamori, Ride the Vanguard: Ren was able to call real creatures from his Trading Cards,Vanguard,and make it as his companions.These creatures are known as "Vanguard". -- Hazimie 

 

Hajime, Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. -- Neko-chan

Kyle looked over his shoulder to see if Erin was okay, he met her glance as her small face peeked over. He gave a soft smile.

Kyle ran into the gang, going straight for the leader. Parrying lot's of attacks. He didn't expect anything more than close combat weapons.. But he was wrong... ((If you can make the leader possibly have a gun on him, I can turn my minimum very Persona like which would help as I plan to do something with it))

(Sorry for the late intro,since i've been alot busy lately...)

 

Nearing the Cafe,there was a Limo appeared in front of it.Inside,there was a man with a red hair,playing his trading cards on the table."Final Turn..." That man said as he declared a word that finish the game.It seems he was playing the game against projection computers in the Limo.Then,he went out from his Limo and began to enter the Cafe.As he began to sit his place near the glass wall,a waiteress appeared before him to get his orders.

 

"Welcome to our Cafe! May I take your orders,sir?"

 

As that man looked at that waitress,she began surprised by that man's looks.

 

"You're....Ren Suzugamori,One of the famous cardfighter in Asia! It's an honour to meet you in person!"

 

The waiteress was very pleased by Ren's appearance in the Cafe.

 

"Why thank you.And as for your questions,I would like to order some sweet drinks.Anything is fine though."

 

"Right away,sir!"

 

The waiteress leave after she take his order as Ren wait while looking at his trading cards that was forming as deck.

 

"So my mission starts here,huh..."

 

Ren said with a sinister grin on his face...

"Firo would you SHUT UP!!! Go on and get her!" The leader screamed at the top of his lungs. Making Firo sigh before he actually jumped and tried to stab Hali but in a manner that was very easy to doge. 'Ill just act like I'm fighting then when the others get scared when she beets me up the others will run away.' he thought loosing interest in fighting at all. Then he just waited to be a "punching bag".

The gang leader reached behind his back and pulled out a gun. He quickly aimed it at Kyle and said "Kid you better leave before things get nasty." a sick smile stretched across his face. Be fore Kyle could get close the man shot twice and smirked as if he was invincible.

 

Flashback:

Firo was in a bar where five people were playing poker one of who was out of money and said "I ... I need this cash ... Even if i have to bet something precious." The cards were set and the man smirked "I bet my own son ... I bet Firo." everyone else but one folded that one was the gang leader. First Firos father showed his cards He had three twos and a pair of nines. The leader threw down his cards and they were 10, jack, queen, king and ace of crosses. "Straight flush old man ..."

He took all the money on the table and as he left pulled Firo along. "No please don't take my son!" his father screamed.

 

...gunshot ...gunshot ... "FATHERRRRR!"

One of the gunshots hit Kyle in the shoulder and sent him back a little, he dropped to his knees.

"AAGH!" He screamed, holding his shoulder. 

"NO!" His summoned sword was gone. He got a Kunai out and threw it at the leader, pinging the gun out of his hand.

"MiNiMuM... UsE.. GuN..." Echoed in Kyle's ears. He had came to a realization, he knew how to awaken his minimum in succession now, he had it figured out, he needed something that would push his psych over the edge, something, that would kill him. He made a mad dash for the gun, darting in and out of attacks from the gang members. He caught the gun, slid across the ground and hit the wall. He stood up and emptied the bullets out of the gun. "Hehe.. What do you think an empty gun is going to do for you boy?" Cackled the leader menacingly. Kyle's hood fell down and he had an eerie grin on his face, the leader was surprised and had a scared look on his face after he seen that eerie grin. He looked at Erin with a look of acceptance. He had put the gun to his head.

As soon as Hali saw someone swing a chain at her, she dropped down to a knee, also bringing a baton down on the ground. A directed sonic shockwave rippled forward and knocked the chain wielder off his feet. "You'd better listen to your friend." She said warned as she stood up. "He's talkin' sense."

Couldn't believe the whole situation.Hali got in to Kyle and that was a good thing.She saw the whole clusterfiretruck that started to boil.She knew by the voices that there will be 6 guys at going to attack Hali.She wanted to help so badly but she was dead afraid that she'll make this worse.Then she remember what she said to Kyle at the rooftop.People make mistake..but giving up is never the option.The fear was gone.Erin made a plan.The thick fog that appeared after Firo activated him minimum and now covered the whole cafe was her friend.As the bandits surrounded Hali she sneak behind.First man down,stabbed in the throat.The guy near her saw her and tried to knock her down but with a backflip she got on his shoulders and wrestled him down.Three to go."Get him,I'll shoot this bitch!"yelled one of them.Rain of bullets started.She ran away on the wall.Silence.The guy pointing the gun search everywhere.That's when he heard her from above.The last thing he saw was a girl launching at him from the ceiling.When Hali made the shockwave she attacked again.She stabbed the one guy and left Hali to finish the last one.She looked at Kyle.He had a look of acceptence but a gun on his head.Her eyes were wide open,she wanted to scream at the top of his lungs and tell him to stop even thought she knew he emptied the gun.But what if it wasn't all empty?.But Erin had trusted him and he looked like he knew what was he doing.Now..she waited for him to pull the trigger.((I think I know what are you planning))

As Ren leave the cafe,he began to use his GPS to find the real place that he was trying to find; Cafe Nowhere."Looks like this was the place..." Ren said as he arrive on that Cafe.As the moment that he set foot inside,he saw an unexpected scene where there is a fight have been going on."My,ths is bad....maybe i should step back--" As Ren tries to retreat,one of the 6 guys of the gangs saw him."Or maybe not..." Ren said as he smiled and began to take out his deck...

 

 

 

Kyle was heavily panting. Could he do it? Was he strong enough? "Ha! What do you think you're going to do?! Kill yourself?" Barked the Leader.

"Per...So...Na..." Kyle whispered quietly.

"What was that boy?!" Said the Leader smugly. Kyle started laughing. 

"Ah... ahahahaha... I know now.." He laughed while looking into the ground with a smug smile.

"Know what? Spit it out! I've had enough of your smugness! Boys, get him." Commanded the Leader.

Kyle looked up, fire in his eyes with a massive smile on his face.

"PERSONA!!!!" Kyle shouted and pulled the trigger. An array of white smoke flew out of the side of his head and clouded behind him as the same creature from the last time appeared. "You want me?! COME GET ME!" Kyle shouted. The gang members looked scared out of their wits.

Hali was rather surprised by the half hearted attack Firo used, so responded with a light shockwave that just knocked him back, generating it by banging her batons together. Hearing the gunshot, Hali twirled around and glared at the gang.

"Get the hell out!" She yelled.

She started using her her batons like drum sticks, banging out a rhythm on a few tables. Each hit caused a small sonic wave, which Hali redirected towards the gang members, hitting them with what felt like punches.

"W-well don't just stand there! Attack him!" One could sense the fear in the Leaders voice. Kyle ran towards the Leader, knocking a few gang members along the way and killing one. His Persona punched one so hard that It went flying and landed in front of Hali. Kyle's Persona then grabbed the Leader.

"Now. You will get out of here or this will be your tomb. You decide." Kyle was being serious. He was not playing around. The anger and seriousness in his face was very noticeable. "I will NOT let you terrorize this Cafe. Is that understood?!" Kyle shouted. The Leader just whimpered. Kyle threw the Leader out the window, smashing it. 

"Sorry. I'll fix that tomorrow." He said with a smile. Most of the gang members just ran.

As soon as Ryoshi had heard Kyle, he immediately saw the fight that was going on. A evil smirk came to his face. "Why am I so oblivious sometimes," Ryoshi said.

"Listen up everyone, I've haven't been in this fight," Ryoshi said loudly. "What is the reason for this, please tell me." "Or, you can be in darkness forever."

Ryoshi had barely liked fights or fighting, so this one was just like any other. "Darkness...screening," Ryoshi said quietly with his head faced down. At that moment darkness had surround the Cafe. anyone from the outside could not have seen that darkness, but everyone from the inside did.

"Oh. Hello Ryoshi. Kinda late to the party." Kyle said pushing his hand around his hair. 

"Now that this dark screen is up. I have some questions I'd like to ask you." Kyle said to the other gang members.

Kyle pointed to Firo "Why did you attack this Cafe and expect to get away with it?"

Firo lied there on the floor then started laughing. "Finally I'm done hahahahahaha! After four stinkin years." He then got up and bowed his head in apology "Please forgive me ... I didn't want any of this to happen. I'm sory for everything I've done. I don't have any money to pay for the window but is there any way at all i could work off what I've done?" He felt both good and terrible. Good for finally getting free from the gang and bad for everything he had to do. He kept his head down all the while talking. Also he threw away the knife that the gang gave him.

"You are welcome," Ryoshi said to Kyle. He had decided to let the darkness stay up for a bit until Kyle's and Firo's conversation was over. He walked toward Kyle, and stood not too far from him. "I would say I forgive you," Ryoshi said. "but i really don't know what the fight was about." he continued with a chuckle.

Kyle stuck his hand out and his Persona vanished. He held the gun in his hand in front of him and thought. "This is it. The key to my minimum, I better keep it with me." He stashed the gun in his pockets without any bullets but took the magazine with him. "There's been too many interruptions tonight and I'm exhausted from them, I'm going to go home." Kyle called to his friends.

"E-Erin, would you like to come with me?" Kyle asked embarrassingly, signalling Ryoshi to let down the Dark screen.

Ryoshi faded the darkness, and  the Cafe was back to normal.

"Alright, my job is done here," Ryoshi said. he walked back to his chair and sat down. "I guess that was my first time using my minimum for good."

He smiled a bit.

"Mm?" Kahutora grunted, silently reaching a hand to a hidden pocket under his coat. There, he had hidden a special handgun just in case he ran into situations like these. But of course, his first move would be to analyze that situation as quickly as he could. Over analyzing or being too slow would cost him.

"Don't harm the girl." He said, "She may not be your target at all.."

 

"You may be right." Kimiko said seriously.

Kuroki suddenly lunged her sword at Kimiko, thankfully, Kimiko clapped her hands together, using her sonic Minimum to block the attack. Kimiko slipped her headphones on, begging to listen to EASTNEWSOUND, one of her favorite groups.

"You are actually wrong." Kuroki said seriously, using her minimum to teleport  behind Kahutora and pull her sword under his chin and against his throat.

Hajime stopped Kimiko from charging after Kuroki.

"Let him go." Hajime said seriously.
