Some children are born in this world with powers...called Minimums.

Minimums are rare powers, and only a select few have them.

In order to figure out who these people are, at a young age, boys and girls are sent to a testing site called Falcultas Academy.

If they pass the training course, they are accepted into the school.

Not everyone is accepted. A lot of people get turned down...and some of these people do have abilities, they just don't know how to show them.

Not everyone graduates, but a few manage too.

After they graduate, they are given a diploma and left to do whatever.

 

A place called Cafe Nowhere is offering jobs to people who are Minimum Holders to get a good amount of money.

But why would you accept a job at this place when there are way better jobs out there?

Because people literally hate Minimum Holders because most people are jealous of their powers.

Cafe Nowhere is the only place that seems to offer Minimum Holders jobs.

So will you get a job there and know you are safe with them...or will you go alone and die?

 

This is a roleplay based off of the anime Hamatora. You do not have to watch the anime unless you want to. However, it is not required.

 

Minimum Abilities--

Rules of Minimum Abilities:

1- You can use the ones from the anime!

2- You can also make new abilities!

3- New abilities cannot be over powered.

4- No abilities should be overpowered!!

5- Use your abilities wisely and not foolishly.

6- ONE ABILITY PER CHARACTER.

7- Be creative if you make a new ability.

 

Known abilities from the anime:

Electric Minimum- Allows the holder to control electricity.

Mighty Script- A tablet that has the ability to see 10 min. into the future at one place, and only one place, she chooses to see the future at. It takes about two min. for this process to work. (Contact me if you want this ability!!!)

Sonic Minimum- Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it.

Detecting Minimum- Allows the holder to detect weak spots, illness, pain, and even death. This ability can be helpful in battle.

Small Miracle- Gives the holder an immense amount of strength, however it can be overused and stop for an amount of time.

Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. The power is stronger when the user is mad.

Characters--

Kahutora Amaza, Detecting Minimum-- Silver Kuroki  

 

Ryoshi Yamiko, Darkness Screening: This user can use darkness to his manipulation, turning the darkness into any image he desires. The Image could do little damage to someone but is meant to scare people away-- Dawn of Riku

 

Dagon Valefar, Nightmare Minimum: The user can read the fears of someone or something, and then can appear as the detected thing/item-- Stitches7769

 

Rika Bishop, Light Medium - works exactly like the Sonic Medium, except she has to have some form of light touching her target. She uses a lighter mainly, but when she needs to travel far Rika has a pocket spotlight in her hip bag. When she listens to music she can focus better, allowing for more accurate movement/attacks. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Sora Takagi, Dominion Minimum: Removing her outermost upper piece of clothing (jacket, shirt, bra, as long as the outermost from her skin is removed) causes wings to sprout. This gives her flight and a sort of feath blade attack, as each feather is razor sharp. If Sora has blacked out, the wings appear completely black. If she hasn't gone through a bad episode, she has pure white wings. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Kyle Satoshi, The Summoner Minimum: allows the user to manipulate the feelings in his heart and manifest it as a creature depending on his feelings at the time, also depending on the feelings Kyle has at that point, it will determine the strength of the Summon (I.E Sadness will Summon a Weak Creature, Anger will Summon a Strong Creature.) -- Scottish Skarmory

 

Halioko Yagama, Sonic Blast Minimum: allows Hali to control and direct sonic vibrations. Must have a sound to work with, like the sound of other people, music or her own voice. Music is best, though she also favors blasts from the sound of a percussion. -- rikunobodyxiii

 

Kimiko Tateyama, Sonic Minimum: Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it. -- Neko-chan

 

Ren Suzugamori, Ride the Vanguard: Ren was able to call real creatures from his Trading Cards,Vanguard,and make it as his companions.These creatures are known as "Vanguard". -- Hazimie 

 

Hajime, Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. -- Neko-chan

 

 

Feel free to start however you want, preferably heading towards Cafe Nowhere.

Sora awoke on the roof of a building. Standing up shakily, she rubbed her eyes...then heard the sounds of battle coming from the Cafe. She shakily (she was shaky, deal with it) and shed her shirt, revealing the tanktop. Wings out, she held her shirt to her chest and flew fast.

"You may be right." Kimiko said seriously.

Kuroki suddenly lunged her sword at Kimiko, thankfully, Kimiko clapped her hands together, using her sonic Minimum to block the attack. Kimiko slipped her headphones on, begging to listen to EASTNEWSOUND, one of her favorite groups.

"You are actually wrong." Kuroki said seriously, using her minimum to teleport  behind Kahutora and pull her sword under his chin and against his throat.

Hajime stopped Kimiko from charging after Kuroki.

"Let him go." Hajime said seriously.  

 

Kahutora glanced down at the blade, that was precariously kept to his neck.

"You don't want to do that. I look at you, and see that you are not the type to murder so easily. You do not know me, nor did I give any indication of harming you? What good will it do to you to kill me? Bloody your hands. These two girls do not know me, so it will not affect them beyond seeing an innocent die. I am a Minimum, like you...so why would you try and kill me so quickly and heartlessly?" Kahutora asked, frowning a bit. The blade was too close for comfort.

Ren clapped,to see the battle between the guy with a summoning powers and the guy who is the leader of the gang."My,my.....this is a heartwarming battle..." Ren said as he began to approach them."If you be so kind,may i have cardfight with you?..." Ren said as he smiled,even though his body was filled with an intensive aura that makes the people on the atmosphere scared around him...

Hali let up on her drumming as the gang cleared out. She eyed Firo closely for a moment, then smiled at Kyle and Ryoshi.

"That bit of help just earned both of you a free meal." She said brightly, resting her batons on her shoulders. "What'll you have?"

"Wait me?" Ryoshi questioned Hali. 

He had just been thinking, and then suddenly Hali had asked him a question. He smiled when he was done asking.

Ren clapped,to see the battle between the guy with a summoning powers and the guy who is the leader of the gang."My,my.....this is a heartwarming battle..." Ren said as he began to approach them."If you be so kind,may i have cardfight with you?..." Ren said as he smiled,even though his body was filled with an intensive aura that makes the people on the atmosphere scared around him...

Kyle was surprised at the boy's request, who did he think he was, waltzing in here and not even doing as much as to introduce himself. He had wandered away from the boy to Hali. "Can you give my meal to Erin please?" Kyle said with a smile on his face.

Kyle stuck his hand out and his Persona vanished. He held the gun in his hand in front of him and thought. "This is it. The key to my minimum, I better keep it with me." He stashed the gun in his pockets without any bullets but took the magazine with him. "There's been too many interruptions tonight and I'm exhausted from them, I'm going to go home." Kyle called to his friends."E-Erin, would you like to come with me?" Kyle asked embarrassingly, signalling Ryoshi to let down the Dark screen.

"A Cardfight? What are you talking about, who even are you?" Kyle questioned the boy. Kyle was surprised at the boy's request, who did he think he was, waltzing in here and not even doing as much as to introduce himself. He had wandered away from the boy to Hali. "Can you give my meal to Erin please?" Kyle said with a smile on his face.

She was happy that everyone made it.Expecially for Kyle.She was indeed suprised to see his summon even thought it felt oddly familiar.She nooded at his request for leaving the cafe since the both were tired and messy.Ren also kinda confused her.Well actually she was interested to see what kind of a game with cards he was suggesting,but the way he asked Kyle about it was like if he was suggesting to play Russian roullette.It was quite creepy.At the suggestion of a free meal,she actually was really grateful but felt kinda guilty for taking away from Kyle,even thought he suggested to give it to her.Maybe she should keep her trap closed.Besides,she can save part of the meal for him to eat later

'Well from one mess into another.' he thought to himself. He thought that he would probably go to jail or something. Firo looked at Ren ... "Oh wait i think i heard of you ... You're that famous player aren't ya? Whats your name .. oh yea that Ren Guy." He said remembering he overheard a conversation a while ago. Although something was off. 'Is this guy a minimum holder? It sure feels that way.' He thought with his head still slightly lowered.

"Sorry if it's rude for me from the start.Name's Ren,Ren Suzugamori.A cardfighter as you want to call me that..." Ren said as he introducing himself after saying rude things to the people while smiling." As i've already say for myself.....let us start this battle,shall we?" Ren said as he draw a card from his deck. " Ride the Vanguard; Fullbau!" Ren said as he call creatures from his trading cards as his companions.That creature was Fullbau,a black dog with blue flair...

Kyle just smirked and pulled out his gun.

 

 "Okay then Ren. I'll take you up on this." Kyle said cheerily, he was up for a real challenge. He put the gun to his head "PERSONA!" He shouted, pulling the trigger as glass like projectiles flew out his head. The gun was smoking, that was a weird considering there was no gunpowder or bullets in the gun. White air clouded behind him, revealing his Persona once again.

Firo looked at the hound and the persona and thought 'What should ... no what can i do?' He felt so useless in his position. But still he wanted to at least try to help out. 'No can i? Its worth a shot.'

 

Flashback:

The gang leader was talking to him in some warehouse (The gang Hangout). "Listen kid I know you are a minimum holder and tat you have manifested an ability so what say you show it to me?" His tone was radiating with some sort of anger or aggression. "Ok mister try to punch me." The man chuckled before he used all the might into a very strong blow. The look of amazement quickly came to his face.  his fist passed through Firo. "Its called the phantom or intangibility minimum. I can pass through whatever i want but only for 10 seconds at a time." He explained."Kid you just might be useful after all." the gang leader laughed as he realized what his "pot" was capable of.

He activated his minimum and ran at Ren. Choosing to touch nothing but the ground and Rens flesh. He raised his hand and went for a punch.

( So basically what Firo did was an unstoppable punch. ok tell me if this is too op i can change it.)

"Javelin,attack those monsters.Fullbau, enter the fray!" Ren said as he command Blaster Javelin to fight against Kyle's monster,or Persona if what he called,while Fullbau was fighting against Firo...

( Unless I guard with those attacks,but the shields have been broken,it will be alright...)

Erin was sick of this of this guy.While he was attacking Firo,she attacked him from behind his back,ksetting him to the ground.She grabbed his cards and with a ligher from her pocket she burned then.So no more summons were available now.She also burned the Javelin one so Kyle has to fight the previous summon only.Oh how much she wanted to break this bastard's bones.With the dark look in her eyes she grabbed her knife and stabbed in the shoulder."iIf you want to live another day,you better piss off of this cafe immediately and don't touch my friend.You got that?"she was only a few inches away from his face as she told him this.She once again had her Ryssian accent.

(To be honest,that's almost God-Modding,but i'll let it slide as i make another way to encounter it...)

 

As he was being attacked as he was being stabbed to the body while his cards have been burned down,he managed to get some of his cards when he have the chance. "Ouch,you're one tough cookie.But too bad... Ride the Vanguard; Abyss Healer and Skull With,Nemain!" Ren called Abyss Healer to heal his wounds while Skull Witch, Nemain on the other hand,use her black magic to turn those burned cards into normal as Ren managed to get it back and step away from that girl.

 

 

 

"Now then, it's time for some deadly punishment for a rude girl like you. Ride the Vanguard; Blaster Dark!" Ren said as began to call his Avatar, Blaster Dark.

 

 

" Obliterate her,my Avatar!" Ren said as Blaster Dark began to swing his sword to that girl,with cruel look on his face without mercy...

Kyle just sat there in a chair as his Persona sat on the table. "Um.. May I be so bold to ask how this happened?" He asked as the fight ensued.

He had a somewhat embarrassed and confused look on his face.

(I edited my last post because that fight seemed to not really need a monkey wrench)

 

Of course, Dark Blaster's attack was blocked by a snow white wing, the sharp ends glinting in the light. Sora had flown fast the few bits away, blocking as she could. With Erin protected, Sora spun and threw razor feathers at Dark Blaster.

"Get out." She said softly. "You're ruining my workplace."

Kyle gasped and stopped. He had a flashback to what happened earlier on that night. An angel that was fighting with Erin or whoever was possessing her. Sora?! Kyle stood up and signaled to Sora "Can you come here a minute?" Kyle asked Sora gently.

'What on earth?' Firo thought as he heard what Sora said. He still had his dog thing to deal with which kept trying to bite him. He dogged it twice then leaned back on his right arm and like he would be break dancing managed to knock the thing into the air.Before it hit the ground he stood up and made a roundhouse kick sending it flying through the already broken window. "Play dead." He jokingly said as he took a moment to catch his breath. He was used to fighting but not this much three street fights and the whole robbery thing earlier today took a toll on him.

As Blaster Dark's attack was nullified and taken damage by a razor feathers while Fullbau was having a hard time to deal the other opponent,Ren suddenly dismiss his units as he put his deck inside his pocket again. "Sorry for the intrusion.It seems that it was too early for me to fight against you guys.And for that, i think it's best we should stop it for now,especially for me,since i'm the one started it..." Ren said with a calm face after apologizing everyone,especially the girl with an angel appearance. "Until then,let us meet again sometime..." Ren said as he leave the cafe.

 

"Based on their strength,they're really capable. I shall not take this things lately.....after all,I have my own reasons for coming this places..." Ren said as he walk away from the cafe outside...

Erin was fighting the summon but with no avail.Her trusty knife broke in pieces and she was left weaponless.She was about to get the chain and get attacked when light blinded her.Yes,it was the same girl from before.Erin was left with an open mouth and ran when ask.She was extremely dumfolded.After Ren left the cafe she came over to her."Thank you for saving me...I don't know how to repay you"she had to admit,she was kinda embarrased.But now there were other things to worry about.She wanted to know what happened at the car.She didn't know if she was allowed too to speak with both of them or if it was a private conversation.Maybe it was best to leave them space.And talk to the others

Slipping her shirt on over the tank top, Sora turned to Erin. She cocked her head to the side, then blushed.

"...well...Uh....uhm..." Sora never had someone say that. She was cute...maybe...

"Maybe....you'd like to go to dinner with me tomorrow?" She tried lamely, looking away. "I'll buy."

Kyle was anxiously waiting to go home "Um.. I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation but I kinda want to get home, are you still coming Erin?" Kyle asked Erin. He sat with his hands in his pockets looking embarrassed awaiting an answer.

"Well that sure was ... something." He said seeing as he had finally done something useful. He laughed a little at how funny the situation got. 'The robber who helps defend the place he was supposed to rob.' He thought with a slight smile on his face. Then something unexpected happened. He coughed strongly twice and the second time a little blood came out. He felt a sharp burst of pain from his chest. In response he garbed it and fell on to his knees. 'Damn it did i use it more than 10 seconds?' The pain stooped in a moment and he got things back together.

"Ah well," Ryoshi said. This time he wasn't just sitting and thinking, but he was talking to himself. He had used a dark screen around him to block out other noise, and the outside world. He was just chilling, having some alone time. At that  moment, he let down the screen, and decided to just lay his head on the table. But then he still had to tell his mom about the job, he had gotten. He got up, went out the door, and went strait home

Ryoshi opened his house door. "Hey guess what!" Ryoshi said with a smile. His mother was cooking, and his dad was laying down on the couch. He began to tell his mom everything, and his mom was happy. Ryoshi then walked upstairs to his room, and laid on his bed. "Using my minimum makes me tired, all the way," he said.
