Some children are born in this world with powers...called Minimums.

Minimums are rare powers, and only a select few have them.

In order to figure out who these people are, at a young age, boys and girls are sent to a testing site called Falcultas Academy.

If they pass the training course, they are accepted into the school.

Not everyone is accepted. A lot of people get turned down...and some of these people do have abilities, they just don't know how to show them.

Not everyone graduates, but a few manage too.

After they graduate, they are given a diploma and left to do whatever.

 

A place called Cafe Nowhere is offering jobs to people who are Minimum Holders to get a good amount of money.

But why would you accept a job at this place when there are way better jobs out there?

Because people literally hate Minimum Holders because most people are jealous of their powers.

Cafe Nowhere is the only place that seems to offer Minimum Holders jobs.

So will you get a job there and know you are safe with them...or will you go alone and die?

 

This is a roleplay based off of the anime Hamatora. You do not have to watch the anime unless you want to. However, it is not required.

 

Minimum Abilities--

Rules of Minimum Abilities:

1- You can use the ones from the anime!

2- You can also make new abilities!

3- New abilities cannot be over powered.

4- No abilities should be overpowered!!

5- Use your abilities wisely and not foolishly.

6- ONE ABILITY PER CHARACTER.

7- Be creative if you make a new ability.

 

Known abilities from the anime:

Electric Minimum- Allows the holder to control electricity.

Mighty Script- A tablet that has the ability to see 10 min. into the future at one place, and only one place, she chooses to see the future at. It takes about two min. for this process to work. (Contact me if you want this ability!!!)

Sonic Minimum- Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it.

Detecting Minimum- Allows the holder to detect weak spots, illness, pain, and even death. This ability can be helpful in battle.

Small Miracle- Gives the holder an immense amount of strength, however it can be overused and stop for an amount of time.

Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. The power is stronger when the user is mad.

Ryoshi Yamiko, Darkness Screening: This user can use darkness to his manipulation, turning the darkness into any image he desires. The Image could do little damage to someone but is meant to scare people away-- Dawn of Riku

 

Dagon Valefar, Nightmare Minimum: The user can read the fears of someone or something, and then can appear as the detected thing/item-- Stitches7769

 

Rika Bishop, Light Medium - works exactly like the Sonic Medium, except she has to have some form of light touching her target. She uses a lighter mainly, but when she needs to travel far Rika has a pocket spotlight in her hip bag. When she listens to music she can focus better, allowing for more accurate movement/attacks. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Sora Takagi, Dominion Minimum: Removing her outermost upper piece of clothing (jacket, shirt, bra, as long as the outermost from her skin is removed) causes wings to sprout. This gives her flight and a sort of feath blade attack, as each feather is razor sharp. If Sora has blacked out, the wings appear completely black. If she hasn't gone through a bad episode, she has pure white wings. -- Oathkeeper136

 

Kyle Satoshi, The Summoner Minimum: allows the user to manipulate the feelings in his heart and manifest it as a creature depending on his feelings at the time, also depending on the feelings Kyle has at that point, it will determine the strength of the Summon (I.E Sadness will Summon a Weak Creature, Anger will Summon a Strong Creature.) -- Scottish Skarmory

 

Halioko Yagama, Sonic Blast Minimum: allows Hali to control and direct sonic vibrations. Must have a sound to work with, like the sound of other people, music or her own voice. Music is best, though she also favors blasts from the sound of a percussion. -- rikunobodyxiii

 

Kimiko Tateyama, Sonic Minimum: Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it. -- Neko-chan

 

Ren Suzugamori, Ride the Vanguard: Ren was able to call real creatures from his Trading Cards,Vanguard,and make it as his companions.These creatures are known as "Vanguard". -- Hazimie 

 

Hajime, Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. -- Neko-chan

"T-Thank you for everything you've done Erin.." Kyle felt awkward and embarrassed, but satisfied that he was, for once, not living alone. There was silence for a few moments while they ate until Kyle broke that silence. "Erin.. Why don't you live w-with me.." Kyle mumbled, he was blushing a very bright red.

She nlushes as she brought the noodles."No problem"she smiled and she was truelly happy to help.So there was silence while eating when Kyle's question hit her like a train.That quite escalated quickly.She didn't know what to say either.It was strange,she was never asked this.She knew the Persona minimum from only last night.But he wasn't a harm to her obviously and she remembered that he was his life all alone.Besides she didn't have where to go either.Once they both get a job,maybe life will get easier."I-I don't know..I-I see why n-not I shouldn't.."she replied.

"W-what time is it anyway.." He said looking at his clock. Kyle stopped and a shiver went down his spine. 

"Oh no... I need to get to school!" Kyle was panicking, throwing his school uniform on hastily. 

"I'm really sorry Erin! I need to go or I'll be late!" Kyle called, he wrapped the scabbard round his waist and sheathed the sword, he didn't have a holster for the Evoker yet so he shoved it in his back pocket and threw his hoodie on. "Bye Erin!" Kyle said smiling nervously and waving.

Firo was now mindlessly wondering around town before looking at the clock. 'Oh don't tell me ...' He thought. After the ... ... ...(long explanation what happened last night) he was disoriented to say the least. And now he needed to go for a job interview which would probably end in disaster again. Something felt wrong to say the least but 'meh' he thought as he walked off towards the police station. Once there he was clearly watched by most mainly because he was brought in for questioning several times. 'Do I really belong here? I guess I'll find out soon enough.'

"W-what time is it anyway.." He said looking at his clock. Kyle stopped and a shiver went down his spine. "Oh no... I need to get to school!" Kyle was panicking, throwing his school uniform on hastily. "I'm really sorry Erin! "Allright,see you soon"she waved back as he left.Interesting to see that he's in the academy she was also graduated from.Or was he in another school that hers?((Wait,wasn't Kyle dropped out of the academy or do you have a plot in mind?))Strange...Erin was now alone in the apartment she may call home in the future.Well of course,visiting homes that weren't hers was an ordinary thing she had to do time to time,but actually being in the apartment,without being in a hurry to leave the place soon as possible or watch her back on every second so she doesn't get caught was unusual.She also felt kinda emtphy since there wasn't anyone to talk to.She now fully understood how Kyle felt.And when did the Cafe started its shifts?She didn't know but she theorized that it's too early to start now.Maybe she should wait for Kyle so they both go there.Now what.Well started what doing what she had in mind.First she cleaned what was left from the breakfast.Second she decided to clean and sew her blouse which was a mess with the blood splattered on it and the holes from the feathers.Now with it drying,she did some morning exercises.And no,not your typical yoga exercises.Erin was far more flexcible for them.Ok I lied,she did them both and then started other ones.You see,one of the jobs she did after graduating and but far longest and favourite job she worked was an acrobat at a local show.She did different acts since the show lacked employes,in some of them she was good and in some..meh.But in the acts where flexibility was neseccery,she performed like a professional

He mumbled to himself, he had never been late before and he didn't want to be late. He had a look at his timetable to see what he had. English.. Mathematics.. Minimum Testing! He always had to pull out of Minimum Testing because of his lack of minimum but now that he had awakened his minimum, couldn't he partake in it now? This thought had excited him. He went to the vending machine and put a note in to get a can of juice and sat down. He was thinking about Erin, what her past was like.

"And there we go"she thought in herself.Her last exercise was push up while her legs were in the air making 90 degress with the torso.So she placed her feet on the ground in front of her and started slowly standing up.First her knees,then her collar followed by her stomach with then followed her chest and arm,her neck and finnaly her head.Now she didn't know what to do.She wondered how Kyle was doing now,reminding her the days of school.If she remembered now correctly,around this time,classes aren't started yet.She wondered if she should wait for him to go together on the job interview or go by herself.Maybe she should phone him?That sounds like a good idea.So she found the phone which looked like it wasn't used with years.She plugged it in electricity and looked in the phone notebook if his number was there.And suprisingly it was!Maybe it was written as a reminder.So she called,waiting for a response."Hey Kyle,it's me Erin.I'm sorry if I'm bothering you now but...Should I wait for you so we can take the job interview at the cafe together or..."

Kyle's phone had started ringing, it was an unknown number but he answered it anyway. "Hey Kyle, It's me Erin. I'm sorry If I'm bothering you now but.. Should I wait for you so we can take the job interview at the cafe together or.." Erin asked

"Oh, Hey Erin, It's up to you whether you want to take it together or not." *Bell Rings* 

"That's the bell, so I better go, I'll talk to you when I get home Erin." Kyle hung up.

"Well mister Firo we have examined your ahem resume and have decided you are 100% out of here ... You cant expect us to let a person who has been suspected of : homicide, robbery, espionage, street fighting, racketeering, kidnapping ..." the man carried on for about a good ten minutes about Firo's not so good childhood. He was in one of the rooms intended for interrogation instead of the normal offices.

"I tell ya i didn't do most of the stuff on that list." he answered making the policeman's eyebrow twitch.

"Did you just confess?"

"It's not like you can prove any of that and besides the camera in this room is broken anyway." Firo answered more relaxed.

"This is exactly why we wont employ you!" The man shouted in anger barely resisting the temptation for a punch. Another person walked in with two cups of coffee a friendly expression for once. He gave one up to Firo while taking a sip from the other.

"I say we take him as a ...independent investigator." He said taking another sip of coffee.

"Art you cant be serious!!!" The person snapped.

"Ease off on the kid." Art threw Firo a badge and an envelope. "You start today. You get your desk later. I want you to keep tabs on the minimum holders. After last nights phone call I think we need someone to handle them." He walked out of the room making the other man sigh

"Easy old timer." Firo said as he left the room with the stuff Art gave him.

Sora trudged into Falculatus with tired eyes. Her bag heavy, her shirt and wrinkled and her jeans had some stains. She stumbled into class and sat down, tired as hell. It had been a long night, and right now she didn't want to be there.

And as first period ended, she stood and trudged out, not looking around. She didnt wan't to go to work today either. But no...she had to do so much and yet she was so, so tired.

*In minimum testing class*

 

"Excuse me sir?" Kyle asked the teacher.

"What is it Kyle, are you pulling out again? That's fine." The Teacher replied.

"No, I want to participate. I have my minimum controlled." Kyle said courageously. The teacher had a sarcastically surprised face on.

"Everyone! Listen up." The Teacher called out to get everyone's attention.

"Kyle will finally be participating in this class. Kyle show us what you've got."

Kyle pulled out his gun and everyone was confused and panicking, even the teacher.

"It's okay, no need to worry about it, it's empty." Kyle said to the class as he pulled out the magazine to show that there was no bullets in it.

He put the gun to his head "Persona" *Click*. His Persona appeared. 

"This is my minimum, I call it a Persona." Everyone was astonished, then they started clapping, Kyle was surprised. He didn't expect this kind of reception. Only the popular kids who hated him didn't clap.

"Why does he get all this praise, It's stupid, my minimum is better than this pile of sh*t." Whispered one of the popular kids. 

 

*At the end of class* 

 

Kyle had gotten changed back into his uniform. It was the end of school and time for his lunch, this time he was going to go to Cafe Nowhere and get that job he wanted. He wondered If Erin did go for the job interview.

Firo was sort of fascinated about how fast things have changed. He was employed as a independent investigator whatever that was supposed to be. The envelope was full of money and the address of nowhere cafe.

'Why did i have to be involved in that. Its like i made a mistake before eve being considered to be able to make one.' he thought to himself before entering the cafe. He was now visibly less thug-like. During the spare time he had earlier he already bought some of the basic stuff most people consider granted. He sat down at one of the corner tables .

'Wait is that ...?' He reached under the table and found a butterfly knife. It was the weapon he got yesterday for the "raid" he put it in his sleeve.

'This could be useful.' he started to remember yesterday again ad shook his head 'I started over.'he kept repeating in his mind until he was contempt. He had a newspaper with him although its rare to see a 17 year old act like an adult he tried his best. He then waited patiently for someone to get his order.

He searched the room, and then noticed that it was brighter than usual. "Did they add lights?!" Ryoshi said with widened eyes. Then he went back and laid down a bit.

Sora left school early. She was tired and already finished most of her work; nothing an hour at home couldn't fix. And so she drove to the cafe, slipping into the back to change. Now in her maid uniform, she stepped out...to find Erin very well dress, talking to Koneko. Smiling softly, she passed by.

"Good luck." She whispered to Erin, before heading off to help some tables.

 And you cannot.)

Firo looked over his newspaper to see what was going on.

"Can I order here please!" He said being slightly less patient than usual.

He was getting nervous. What were the ods of him having to go to the same cafe he had helped in robing or should say trying to rob. It was strange to say the least. But this was ironically his new job ... 0 complains found so far.

Kyle had arrived at Cafe Nowhere, wondering how Erin got on, she was talking to Koneko, she must have been talking about the job, he didn't want to interrupt the conversation so he just walked past, put his bag down at a table and sat down. He then noticed Sora darting around the tables. "Hey, Sora?! Can I get a menu please?" He called to her

"There is no way I'm going back to sleep," Ryoshi said.

"Plus I have to work today," Ryoshi said with a slightly sadder face.

He started to get out of his bed, and then looked in the mirror. "Oh gosh," he said with dismay. After that he went right to the bathroom, took a nice hot shower and went back to his room. He then changed, made his hair look better, and went downstairs to eat. His mom and his sister who had went traveling were there. "Oh welcome back -sama," Ryoshi said.

"Haha, hey lil' bro," his sister said.

There was eggs, PANCAKES, and sausages on the table. Ryoshi sat down near his sister and started to eat quickly.

"Psh, what's up with you today?" his sister asked.

"Remember I told you, Ryoshi got a job," his mother said with a smile.

"Oh yeah," his sister said. "I never knew he could get one.

In Ryoshi's head he had wished that his sister never cam back. But then, he still kinda missed her.

"Okay, I'm going now!" Ryoshi said.

"Bye," his mom and his sister said in unison.

Ryoshi ran outside without any hesitation. He had also notice that he wore different clothes, but he took his mind off of that. He soon arrived at the Cafe, and opened the door panting.

"*pant* I'm *pant* here," Ryoshi said.

He ad looked like he was about to collapse on the floor, but he soon got himself together. Then he saw Kyle and Erin.

"Oh, hi you two, are you waiting for someone?" Ryoshi asked.

Sleep. School. Work. Sleep. School. Work.

Hali sighed as she got out of classes and headed to work, frustrated with her routine. Still, that fight yesterday did make the boredom of the routine more appealing. She tapped out a beat on her legs as she headed to Cafe Nowhere, a song she was working on taking form.

Sora darted over, curtsying after handing Kyle the menu. "Here." She said softly. "I'll be back to check on you soon." She promised.

"Ah, well Sora is here now," Ryoshi said.

"Also hello," Ryoshi said with a smile. Then he walked away and went inside of the kitchen. He was feeling kinda bit left out. but he wasn't deep into his feelings. "well, at least I got a job," Ryoshi said.
