August 2, 201411 yr Because not only does she have a Keyblade to fight with but clearly knows how to use it too (as seen in KH2). I also feel like she'd probably refuse to let someone protect her when she could do it herself.
August 2, 201411 yr As you said , she's just getting trained . As far as I know , and I might be wrong , it has not been confirmed that Kairi is a Guardian of Light . So I'd assume she's getting trained just in case she's needed .

Only once And in the first game she saved Sora. Stop picking bits n' peices and thinking that all there is to her. She has been very important to the story already, and we need more wielders. Because she's got a keyblade (gained thanks to Aqua) and she's got to unleash her potential and she's also at the same time a Princess of Heart.
