I for one despise movies that are all dark, gloomy, gritty and über-serious, with nothing but different shades of black. Kinda like Christopher Nolan's batman trilogy. 

 

I like movies that don't take themselves too seriously, like The Avengers, Pacific Rim, Scott Pilgrim and etc etc

 

as the title says, what type of movies do you despise and love? Comment below.

I hate movies that have trailers that make them look fantastic but the movie comes out and it turns out to be shit. 

i.e. Star wars the phantom menace

I really hate comedy movies with stale, recycled jokes.

Horror Movies

 

Movies that try to make a lame play on our perception of ethics. like i dunno...THE PURGE.

 

Action movies. Sure a moderate amount is okay but gosh i've seen too much of it.

 

doomsday movies and ones whose pure substances is destruction. Those movies depress me.

Romance movies because all the ones I've had the misfortune of seeing were groan worthy in their romance, stupid in their plot, weak and cliche in their characters, and the development of the relationship never seemed realistic. Granted, I haven't seen many, so there might be some good ones out there. I don't care to look for them or watch them though.

 

I hate horror movies. I'm easily scared, so even the less scary ones keep me up at night. I'm not even kidding. Heck, I can't even watch the werewolf scene in Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban (and that isn't anything compared to movies actually trying to scare me).

I LOATHE romantic comedies. Despise, hate, denounce, abhor, DETEST.
