Well anyways, to summarize the video, having too much money(or in WoW's case, gold) is a bad thing? I mean the way I see it, having alot of money can be a really goodthing. That just means that you won't have an strees on finacial problems.

It's not good for enonomy if people save too much money, because economy is moved by money spending. If people don't spend money it's the same as a car without gas.

 

That's why Japan's economy is kinda in a tricky situation. Japanese people save too much.

I didn't watch the entire video, but the part where they say the people who play know a lot about how to work their way in the economy is kind of false.

There is an add-on that literally does it for you if you download it (its legal). Hell no I ain't dealing with economics in that game. A lot of people use it too, or at least people who just don't want to get into that aspect.

 

10,000 gold isn't that much because of the inflation, they even upped the flight training costs to try to make it work but it barely did anything. You can get like 4000 - 5000 from questing alone 1 - 90 and dungeons.

 

Also buying gold or paying gold farmers are against the game's rules so yeah...
