The Hollows

 

 

Plot: The setting is the 21st century, present day. A dictator by the name of Elbert Biskoff has established a group of elite soldiers to gain control over the world. Several countries have been taken over, and several have been terminated. All of Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia is under Biskoff's control, and he wants his hands on North and South America. Scientists from the two continents have collaborated on a project they title "SAVIORS". They have gathered 13 teenagers, taken away from their homes and memories erased for the project. Each of these teenagers have been genetically altered to fight against these soldiers. And fight they shall. But their powers are too unstable to be around civilians. So the scientists have sent them to a place in Antarctica, a place called the Hollows, a town built to withstand nuclear attacks, originally a hide-out for the President. Here, the teenagers will train and prepare to defend their homes, and also learn the truth about themselves. There is one obstacle that stands in their way of them maintaining their powers and fighting together. They don't trust each other...

Here are the RP rules

 

1.Make your character as original as possible. Remember that they are everyday teens.

2. Your character is not Superman, you can be injured.

3. Killing off other characters is not acceptable unless agreed with the other person

4. Absolutely no romance

5. There is a limit to how many people sign up, only 13 people.

6. Posts must be descriptive, at least 4 sentences.

7. Your powers must have a disadvantage to them, to be fair.

 

Character Example (my character basically)

 

Name - Jackson

Origin- California, USA, North America

Personality- Even though he has had his memory wiped, he still maintains aspects of his personality before all of these events occurred.

He is a lone wolf, he likes to do things on his own. He rarely speaks unless spoken too. His only objective is to become powerful enough to defeat Biskoff, even if he has to do it on his own. He does not allow distractions to get the best of him.

 

Powers- The scientists engineered him to have the ability to control time, space, and gravity. He can warp large objects from other dimensions into the current one and use them to his advantage, or vise versa. He holds the ability to stop time, but only for 5 seconds. He can also use his gravitational powers to crush an opponent or lift him into the sky.

 

Power disadvantages- He becomes weak for a medium-length period of time when he uses his dimension powers, and he can only stop time 5 times a day.

Origin-arkansas, USA, North America

Personality- they took his memory away form him but he keep a littl of his self being he doesnt much care for what anyone says and wont talk much he is cold to almost ever one he doesnt get to attached to people he keep's to self and listen's to his music he keeps a cool mind but he wont's to kill Biskoff with his bear hand's as fast as he can

 

Powers- The scientists gave him the ability to make ice out of anything and ever thing with out water being near and the power to use shadow's he can sink into them or sommun up shadow fighter he can move thorw the darknes with out being seen becous of his shadow power

 

Power disadvantages- if he uses his ice to much his body will start to slow down if he uses the shadow power over 10 times a day or his body will start to break down but it takes 30 time's at night for his body to start to break down

Jackson carries his bag to the door of the apartment room he was assigned. He looks at the door and mutters, "Room 666 huh. Typical." He takes his key and opens the door, and places his bag inside. Even though he is stranded in an arctic town with only 13 inhabitants, he notes that the town is still very silent. He closes the door to his room and looks out of the window, seeing if anybody else is going to walk into the apartment building.

vorka was walking up to the apartment building he walked in and grabed his key he "613...unlucky..like.me."he opend the door and walked in he thorw his bad on the bed and looked around he pulled out some head phon's that where ice blud and put them in his ear he listed to his music the plac was what he liked it was cold and near freezing and all he had on was a t-shirt a black hoodie and some shirt's he loked at his bag he had a snowboard with him as will he put it on the side of the wall and looked at it

Name- Kyoku

Origin- New York, USA

Personality- Despite his memories being erased, his personality has remained intact. He doesn't talk much and usually does as told. He's very quiet but he is reliable. Kyoku is also trustworthy and doesn't lie. It is unknown how he feels about Biskoff or the others but he seems to have some reason to want to kill Biskoff.Although he isn't really sure.

 

Powers- The scientist engineered him to have the power to manipulate fire and, if the conditions are right, lightning. He can also shape-shift into various things. He often combines his two powers together to cover all aspects of combat.

 

Power disadvantages- If he uses too much of his fire/lightning power, his body will be damaged slowly. This can be avoided by not using this power constantly. He is vulnerable for a moment while shape-shifting. On rare ocassion, the process can be stopped. Which causes the transformation to end up as an abomination for a short time.

Kyoku walked slowly to the apartment room he was given. "605..." Kyoku said quietly as he took his key out and opened the door. He put his bag on his bed and at down. Kyoku closed his eyes and listened for anyone else.

Jackson sees a boy in a black hoodie walk inside the building, and he frowns. I know there are 12 other people here. Where are they? He sees a stool that is placed right by a cabinet, and he grabs it, places it by the window, and sits down. The snow is beautiful out here. I just wish I knew what snow looked like in my past life. Jackson places his hand on his face and stares out of the window, looking for more people to come in. He then sees another figure in the snow, walking towards the building.

vorka heard the boy shut his dorr even with the headphon's playing in his ear he opend his eye's and looked up then he sat up he didnt kow who the other peoply where and didnt much care hmmm this place is cold and it has snow he got out of bed and looked out ofthe window for a minut or two then looked at his room door then the bath room the place was a good size for one person and with im being in the room the temp droped down to below 0 he rubbed his snowboard a little then layd back down

Jackson also hears Kyoku close his door, even though he is one story above him. Somebody else has come. Interesting. He starts to head towards his door, but then stops. What if this guy is a hostile. Crazy.. He turns around and plops down on his bed. I don't know if I can trust any of these people.

Name - Lan

 

Origin- Was picked up from Orlando, Florida, however hes possibly an escapee from China.

 

Personality- He has no idea what he was like in the past, however he has formed his personality into a happy-go-lucky type of person. He can't really speak well, but speech is not needed as he always shows what he is feeling by the expressions on his face. He is very loyal. Loves to hum to tunes and beats. He doesn't really understand Biskoff or his motives and with his care-free thought system he doesn't really care.

 

Powers- The scientist built him into a human grenade. However, he is more of a dud. Sometimes he accidently sets himself off. Especially if he becomes overjoyed, things get a little bit messy. He can't be injured by his own explosions though. When concentrating he can chose in which direction to fire his explosion. When not concentrating however its unpredictable.

 

Power disadvantages- Mentioned above, he goes off without warning sometimes. That could possibly injure the area around him or his teammates. He can also run out of 'Juice' and will collapse on the ground when done so. Can't rapidly explode. Limited size of explosion.

Jackson sees yet another person walk into the building. He notes that he hasn't seen one girl walk in, but he shrugs and opens his room door. I just want to see what everybody looks like in person, no conversation, he assures himself. He walks towards the staircase, and takes one flight down. He finds himself in a hall that looks identical to the hall of his living quarters.

Kyoku put his hands on the floor and a small bitof static electricity could be felt. He made it go down stairs so he could know if anyone else was here or not. Afterwards Kyoku turned into a cat. Maybe I can see someone if I'm like this. A;though many people don't really like cats.... Kyoku thought as he slipped slowly through the door and climbed down one flight of stairs. He kept an eye out for anyone.

Jackson squints his eyes as he sees a cat run down the next flight of stairs. Somebody brought a cat?. He shakes his head and starts down the hall again. He takes a look at the mold on the wall, and is slightly disgusted. Why can't we at least move where the President would have slept? He sighs and walks on. The green paint of the building was too bright in his opinion. He walks to the other staircase and heads down them.

vorka looked up then grabed his board and rubbed it a little the board was blue and the number 13 on it like ice silcel's when vorka breath was seen it was smoke from out side his door you could see the frost on his door he stood up and moved his neck then walked to the window he looked out but there was no one else he didnt lock his door like most of the othere's he keep it un locked soo anyone could come in he didnt pull his headphone's out he just sat there listing to sickpuppies and greenday

A smaller man busted through the doorway. He was covered in snow everywhere and would look like his day wasn't so great... that is if a smile wasn't painted on his face. The boys grin wasn't very intimidating at all. He sighed, his smile losing its intensity. "Here lastly!" He exclaimed in broken English. Obviously the care-free man had no idea that he probably interrupted the guest. He hadn't really had a great time of learning English. Speech itself seemed to be impossible. He scratched the back of his head and started walking in the hallway. There were many doors and he finally found the one he was assigned to. Knocking to make sure, he swiftly turned the doorknob and ran happily into the door... only to find himself tripping on his own two feet. A loud thud echoed through his room, followed by an "Owuch..."

Jackson walks down 5 more flights until he reaches the lobby. He sees a man bust through the doors and run up the stairs, and scowls. He just moves on ahead. The glass doors were covered with white, glistening snow. He zips up the jacket he is wearing, puts on his hood, and walks outside. Training time, he thinks to himself. He begins the 5 mile march to the training grounds. The apartment offered snow mobiles, but Jackson finds riding vehicles boring. Long walks help him focus on what he wants to do. Snow begins to cover his clothing, but they are keeping him warm.

Kyoku, still in his cat form, walked around. He walked down to the lobby and curled up, appearing to be sleep. I need to think before I can do anything. He thought as he rested up. He wondered what his life was like before this and if he had any family to talk too. Kyoku opened one eye to make sure no one tried to sneak up on him. When I'm ready and focused. I'll train and get stronger. But why do I want to get stronger? What's the purpose?

vorka gets up".."he lookes around then he stayd's put's his hoodie back on and put's his headphon's in his pocket then grabe's his snowboar he opened his window for later then he opend his door he got on his snowboard inside and started ridding on the floor behind him was a trail of ice being made by his snowboard he was trying not to use to much power soo he used as little a possply he few down the star's on his board and mad it to the lobby and he saw the cate laying there if it was plaing on going out side it would freez to death but he coulndt fool with it he had some where to be soo he few out the door when he hit the snow he put his head phon's back in and didnt rais his hoodie his leg's whent cold ether hed manged to get to where the boy was whiley he was walkign on foot".."

Jackson makes it to what appears to be a glacier. He places his gloved hand on the cool, icy surface, and the spot where his hand was lights up. A small door opens in front of him, and he walks in. The lights of the area flash, and training equipment is shown scattered all across the area. Jackson faceplams and says to himself, "Is this seriously where I'm supposed to train?". He removes his outer layer of clothes, and begins to re-organize the area.

After picking himself up, Lan seemed pretty ready to go. He double checked to see if his coats were nice and snug around his body. Buttoning up a few he jumped in joy. Finally here! Oh how he was excited to see more people like him! He stopped, grinning to the nothingness in front of him. Taking a step towards the door. He had to calm himself. What would happen if he made yet another explosion? KABOOM. That's what. Forming his happy grin into a blank face usually worked wonders for him. The black haired man did as he told himself and walked out the door. Down a few staircases... and into the lobby. "Oh! Kit!" He said, looking down and over at the cat that was seemingly resting.

Kyoku's ears perked up and he let out a "Meow." involuntarily. Kyoku walked to a corner of the room where it was hard to see what was going on over there and transformed back to normal. His clothes remained intact and were on him but he had a desire for milk. He ignored this feeling and walked outside.

vorka walked up to ice and the door opened he saw the place a mess then saw the boy cleaning up he didnt take any of his stuff he just stood there he boarded up the boy and picked up the stuff he could use to train but he wasnt goign to be in there wwith them for long he was goignto go outside to train his power but in there he could trian his shadow power as much as he could befor he reached his limitie befor night time come's he was goignto trian on maxeing out his shadow use in day time soo he sat his board to the side he move his neck but didnt do much he walked around to know where everthign was hed lok at the boy everonce and then

Jackson rubs his hands on his pants as he finishes re-arranging the training gear in the room. "Much better", he says. He then proceeds into a room with a computer in it, and glass walls. He turns on the computer and clicks, "Simulation 1." He then opens a glass door, and walks into the proceeding room. 30 robotic soldiers appear with MGs and grenades. Jackson cracks his knuckles and his neck, and then stares the robots down. Game time. He lifts up his hand, the robots begin throwing grenades. He closes his eyes, and the grenades stop in the position that they were in, mid-air. 5. Jackson grabs 5 grenades and places them by the soldiers. 4. Jackson then rolls, grabs a machine gun, and jumps behind a crate. 3,2,1. Time unfroze, and the grenades blew up, along with the soldiers.

vorka lookedat the boy he claped but stell was not impressed he was wondering when theyd get to train with each other vorka got off his board and looked around there wasnt much he could use around him but he did the best he could he wroked on his movement and speed runing aorund the triaing area a few time's he then used his shadow to go under gournd ad move aorund the place he did a few work out's but he coundt do much in side but out side he was the best

Kyoku stood in the snow. He transformed into a polar bear and roared. He made his trek in the snow in this form. Its warm like this and walking through the snow is fun. I didn't think I simple transformation could turn snow into a fun thing to take a walk through. Wonder what else transforming is good for other than fighting. I don't like fighting I think. I don't know. Kyoku thought as he trekked through the snow.

Jackson wipes the sweat of his forehead and steps out of the room. He sees the boy standing in the training area and wonders how he found it. He thought he was the only person who knew about this certain area. Jackson grabs his coat and puts it on, and walks outside of the area, about to start the trek back home. These people are weird.

vorka looked up he grabed his board"..."he thorw it on the gournd then hoped on it and whent out side to train he saw a hill with snow on it and he ran up and did a baclk filp but when he landed a ice spike poped up then he grabbed it and sope aorund on ti then let go and was sent flying at a differt hell when he hit it wit his palm ice shard's came flying out of the other side of it then vorka let go of it and mad a ice rape he ran up it but when he laned it hit the gorund and a row of ice ice spike's came around hiim he was just goofing of not tryingto sue his power he was mostly just snowboarding but he had alot more trike's up his selve
