It's a shame the industry has pretty much completely moved away from it due to digital technology You don't see too many stop motion films anymore.

Not out of america, anyway. Germany has stuck to it, though.

Yeah that and hand drawn animation like they're so beautiful and a work of love by the creators

 

But it takes sooooo loooonng to make just a minute of footage so I get why they're getting away from it

 

It's upsetting but I get it

 

Impatient Americans too with the short waits we complain about no attention span to do this stuff anymore

CGI can be beautiful, though. There's a lot of notable examples of CG films that are equally are stunning as hand drawn.

Frozen and The Snow Queen are two different films. One's from a lesser studio, but it's very well done. Has a sequel, with a 3 on the way.

Edgar Rice Burroughs had nothing to do with The Snow Queen: Snow Queen was written by the English author Hans Christian Anderson, who also wrote The Little Mermaid, Thumblina, and The Little Match Girl. 

Frozen has a chick going to stop evil snow in common with The Snow Queen, which had eight chapter, several dozen lands with differing characters, robbers, explosions, talking crows, and trying to kill children with frostbite kisses. 

And this is why I wanted to check with you Phil
