Don't think it would affect gameplay so much.

Pretty sure it would depend on what the game is built to run as in terms of resolution and FPS

True, but it's definitely cheaper than buying it prebuilt.

You can always optimise specs based on your budget too and there is no need to buy a monitor if you've got an old one lying around. Heck, even a TV would do.

Same with keyboard and mouse.

If you want to use a controller, you should be able to connect your XBOX one.

With a little bit of reusing and compromising power, you should still be able to get a good PC.

It all depends on your decisions though. You can always start small and upgrade when you get more money.

Ehh I feel like I got a good deal on mine. I ordered it through Best Buy and it's from one of those budget companies that build to order. So basically a half-assed build it yourself lmao. It was hardly more expensive than some of the gaming laptops they had which had wayyyy lower specs. As well as some of the other gaming pcs with similar specs. In fact it was relatively cheaper than quite a few.

 

But I mean, if consoles could finally do 1080p 60fps it would just be way easier. You could save a lot of money and enjoy the glory of a device so much cheaper. 8D

Well, if you feel it's good, great. That's awesome. As long as you can upgrade it later, you should be fine. That way, you can just stick to what you want for as long as you want and up the power when you feel like it.

Yup. It's definitely upgradeable. Even has some extra slots to put more GPUs or whatever else if I wanted to. Figured I might eventually upgrade, but that'll probably be over a year from now.
