So is Young Xehanort(MF) easier to fight in 2.5?

I've heard (and this has actually worked for me) that the difficulty of the fight scales with the amount of abilities you have equipped. The less abilities the easier the fight. Maybe that's what happened?

YX was a fair enough boss fight. There was only one real workable strategy (spamming Thunder Surge) but it still required dexterity and timing (and a teensy bit of luck) to pull through. I wouldn't mind if it was unchanged, although it could be fun to allow different strategies.

not in the original if you got caught in the whip attack it's basically instant death, now in 2.5 (idk if it was in the original Final Mix) you can dodge out of the whip attack before he brings you all the way up to him

It was in the original final mix. I'm guessing they added it in Final Mix seeing how MF was/is a really hard boss.
