let's start with destiny islands:

 

and besaid islands:

they bare alot in common huh? this is partly due to the fact that final fantasy 10 had come out soon after kingdom hearts began development and so during that time kingdom hearts was originaly considered a final fantasy spin-off from within the staff having a final fantasy like plot with ff characters and a similar battle system they used many elements from ffx as a base don't believe me?did you know the treasure chest in kingdom hearts is merely a simplified version of the one's found in ffx?

stuff like this is interseting. thogh the first ff10 chest looked nothing like a kh chest
