Last year was a terrible year for video game awards shows. Fans of gaming glued their eyes to a tormenting 2 hour long VGX pilot. Spike usually handled the VGAs really well. Unfortunately, the slipped up and thanks that, Spike has been completely dropped from this years VGAs. In fact, we're in for a treat this year. Geoff Keighley returns to host this years VGAs, however, the Board that looks over and runs just about everything from polling votes to announcing awards, consists of big shot executives such as Reggie Fils-Aime and Phil Spencer. The Game Awards 2014 will be held on December 5th.

Hopefully this year's VGA will be better than the embarrassingly terrible one from last year
