Pokemon OR/AS Hits 1 Million Pre-orders in Japan

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Pokémon Omega Ruby are flying off store shelves and it isn’t even out yet. Dengeki Online reports the Pokémon remake has been pre-ordered over one million times in Japan.

 

Reservations for Pokémon Alpha and Pokémon Omega Ruby have outpaced those for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

Well, can't say I'm surprised since Pokemon is hugely popular in Japan. Though it is amazing how a remake is getting this many pre-orders.
