I'm bored, have lots of time on my hands, and am hyped for Episode VII
So with my skills as the Scenario Planner for Kingdom Hearts III, I've decided I'm going to actually try and hypothesize a possible legit scenario based of the new Star Wars teaser
WARNING The following contains lots of reading which may be too much work, too boring, or a combination of the two- also everything that follows, I'm trying to connect the scenes and use them as proof rather than make things up we just don't know yet:
So at the beginning there's a Stormtrooper who looks perplexed and confused. Let's rewind the clock now. I suggest he's like this because he was moving Imperial cargo through the desert. Everything was fine until that girl we saw later on the speeder in the trailer came by. I say the Stormtrooper originally had that speeder to move the cargo, but that girl took it from him. I suggest she actually knocked him out (resulting in his helmet falling off) then took the speeder and raced off- leaving him behind. When he came to he now found himself in the middle of the desert, stranded. He maybe calls up the Empire for assistance before following after the speeder tracks on foot or simply waits for evac.
Now back to the girl. She perhaps is a smuggler like Han Solo was, maybe she's even his daughter? For the purpose of this theory I'm simply going to suggest that this girl at least has some sort of connection to Han Solo, but as for specifics I can only speculate. Now the girl takes the stolen Imperial cargo back to where her ship is, where coincidentally we'll also see that R2-D2 ball droid rolling around when she arrives. Whether or not that droid is an actual character, knows the girl, or is simply a way to show off the creature making abilities this production possesses is not important to this theory (personally I think it's just there to look spiffy like the Cantina aliens in Episode IV).
So back to the plot at hand, the girl starts loading the cargo onto her ship. As she does this, the Imperial ship with the Stormtroopers on it that the trailer showcased tracks the girl's position via the stolen speeder. These troops are responding to the call made by the Stormtrooper at the beginning of the trailer. Their ship lands and they begin to march out, intent on getting the girl. From here maybe there's a shoot out between them, but the teaser doesn't show. Let's assume after fending off the initial attack the girl gets into her ship, the one loaded with the cargo, and takes off. Turns out the ship she's flying is- none other than the Millennium Falcon! Being pursued by TIE fighters, she looks to fight them off while trying to escape the planet.
Annnd end scene. The clips with the Sith and the X-wings I'm assuming take place on a different planet later on in the movie, so I can't incorporate them into this desert planet scenario yet (which may be Tatooine but I don't want to jump to conclusions)
So that was my oddball way of trying to connect the clips the teaser has shown us into a coherent scenario, for anyone who actually took the time to read or at least skim this all I hope you enjoyed it! ^^
Now that killed 20 minutes back to procrastinating homework
