Okay first of I'd like to say I'm totally stoked for Digimon Adventure Tri, but I already find my mind turning to whatever anime may be after it, if any, After the recent Digimon games, Digimon World Re:Digitize/Decode, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, I'm thinking a Digimon anime with character's designed by Suzuhito Yasuda. The characters could be high school age, like Tai's group is now, and the story could be somewhat darker, id even go so far as to say as dark as .hack//Sign (since Cyber sleuth seems to have some elements of it that are shared with SAO.)
Obviously this new anime I'm proposing would not be for kids and more for that original fan base as they are now (even though most of us are in or done with college, but good lick getting an anime focusing on 20-30 year olds)
I realize this might not be for everyone, but I can see it working if given a chance, and may even help it break free of the "Pokemon rip-off" stigma that the show unfortunately still suffers from today from less educated viewers.
So, am I crazy for thinking of something like this?
